Looking forward to the Dynamite show next week, should be a fun watch.
Also I've started rewatching ECW starting from Jan 1997 on the Network. I wonder if Tony Khan is inspired by Paul Heymans booking style for AEW, as AEW is a little all over the place and chaotic like ECW back in the day.

Nightmare Factory Showcase #1 All wrestler are very green (12 weeks training from QT Marschall & Cody Rhodes), but still a nice watch. The commentary was rather ... bad IMO.

Downloading the latest AEW show now. I really lost interest in the promotion with the dismal death match, but seeing some NJPW cross promotion stuff has me excited again. I knew that they had always planned on doing it, I'm just glad to see it finally happening. I've heard that Nagata vs Moxley was pretty decent.

Is it just me that thinks Cody Rhodes is dull? He makes me press fast forward everytime he's on.
On another note it was great to see Yugi Nagata this week on Dynamite.

Sweet, I’d love to see nagata again, not against moxley, a vet like nagata doesn’t need to be doing garbage matches with that sloppy guy, but I’m sure he could still pull a good match or two out of a couple of people on the roster. Thanks for the heads up!

Just caught the QT Marshal vs Cody match from blood and guts (I’m late, yeah...), someone needs to make Cody’s self juice figure four in fire pro! 😁

I've been a casual AEW viewer the last little while and as much as I love the talent in AEW it doesn't feel like a true alternative to WWE at all. It's basically WCW: Millennials Edition and I'm done with them. The potential early on was exciting but it's not there anymore IMHO. I'll check out their PPVs if they have some big matches on the card but other than that I'll be checking out the indies and Japan like I was before.

I found this particularly astronomical plummet from grace hard to swallow. 😔 Keeping pretty decent company here Now this…

Not exactly Sting vs Vader II is it? NWA/early WCW Sting was the best. Never really cared for "The Crow" gimmick.

I laughed so hard watching Sting and Orange Cassidy. That was great. The lazy chest beating from Sting was hilarious. Spoiler from Dynamite Fight for the Fallen 7/28/21 Jericho vs Gage
So... Jericho used Green Mist to blind Gage. WTH?! I suppose that it is a Painmaker thing, but I've never seen him use the Mist in any of his Painmaker NJPW matches.
Those entrances... Great stuff!

It really does feel like WCW: Millennials Edition now. Sigh.

I completely missed CM Punk’s WWF run, I have no idea what he’s all about, I know he’s highly regarded, so maybe this is where I can see what all the hype is about. My only concern is who will they match him up with that he can get a decent match out of in this organization?
