I've had some kind of carpal tunnel thing going on in my left thumb for about a year and a half now. I was thinking video games were at least partially responsible but, after not having really played any in a few months and still seeing a noticeable worsening in it, I'm now wondering if that wasn't slowing it instead. Don't know if that hand is slowly going arthritic or what but it's making me realize how much I use my left hand at work even though I'm a righty. I seem to have started getting a bit of this in my right thumb as well over the last two days. Fortunately, if it's anything like the left has been, it'll be something that comes and goes instead of a constant source of discomfort.

I have a family history of rheumatoid arthritis and I'm not really looking forward to it.

I used to have really bad tendonitis from a job cutting pizzas. I started using kettlebells and it went away. It has something to do with the muscles engaging to catch the kettlebell during moves like cleans and snatches.
I have heard of people curing their arthritis by regularly fasting. The body will use the calcium build up in your joints for energy, but it takes three to five days of fasting because first the body will use stored energy like sugar from your pancreas and fat cells.
There is a lady, Mikhaila Peterson, who cured her rheumatoid arthritis by changing her diet. She pretty much eats only meat because it's the only thing that doesn't cause flare ups.

I used to have tendon issues as well. While not fully recovered, I switched to lighter dummbells, indian clubs and fixing my form when doing pushups. I use a pushup board and do Hindu pushups...seems to help.

It's now been 20 years since I graduated high school as well as 15 years since graduating college. Time flies.
