A friend recommended Sepultura's newest album the other day, I would listen to them in the past a lot. So I sat down to listen to it. Couldnt get past the first song. It was too loud for me.

I don't have any label. I'm just old.

I think I'm echoing a sentiment that's already been expressed but, one thing that sucks about getting older as the creative type is continuing to have no shortage of project ideas but having less time and/or energy to pursue them.

Well said 👏
It's creative torture. I tend to build on all of my previous ideas so I have so many more e-fed storylines and wrestler creation strategies I want to implement now than I did when I started years ago. But I have like 1/10th of the time to make any of them happen. And to accomplish anything I have to make sacrifices as to which ideas I do and how much time to actually put into them. I still think about it all so much but getting the time and energy to sit down and write it is so much more rare now.

I'm kind of at that point where I'm just building a roster just to build it.
I don't really have much aspiration to craft stories out of them. I give them a backstory and let them fight each other.

I am busier. But most things aren't really "I don't have time" but more "what am I really getting out of this?" Hobbies I used to spend all day on are now like "is there anything new or interesting? Am I going to talk about the same things I've seen others point out for damn near 20 years now?"
Spent a lot of time pining for someone that rarely felt the same way. And even when it seemed like fate had intervened, it just kind of fell apart. But how many times can you say "You know I would have done anything for you" when the boy you would have raised as your own is now a man, and unfortunately acting a whole lot like his sperm donor?
More recently I thought a particular person was the missing piece as we always seemed to keep passing each other by. I've heard different things, a lot of them negative but even then I can't just slam the door on her. But at the same time I can't end up worse off trying to "fix" her.
Similarly another friend that seems to want to blur the lines at times but then she retreats back into her shell, almost embarrassed that she showed me that side of her.
So why am I writing this? Because someone else, not really "new" but definitely in the known as more than just so and so's daughter kind of crashed the party. Last night was the "I have to tell you this, and it's not because you look so great tonight." I don't know. Maybe this one is just another entry of if things were different but I have to try. I'm certainly not getting any younger.

That awkward moment when you realize you have characters older than your new coworker.

LOL 😄
I made the first version of Geese (masked as "Bolt") in Spring of 1999 so his entire character is of drinking age 🍻

Lol, some of my Warcraft characters are older than some kids these days.
The Blood Elf Paladin that I made in 2007 is as old as one of my young cousins.

I created Mark Rocker when Wrestlemania 2000 came out for the N64, along with some other I still use to this day.

Dang, that moment when you realize that you have edits that are legal drinking age (21 here)

Then when they get carded, you proudly show the bartender their e-fed bio only to have them thrown out!! 😭
