Here in Toronto, the weather has been surprisingly cold all week. Not winter jacket cold, but windbreakers and hoodies weather.

Ahh, return to form on the Canadian prairies, 32-35 C (90-95 F) and thick wildfire smoke. Two seasons, winter, and hot smoke/construction. I hope it’s much nicer wherever the rest of you are. 😁

We're still alternating between heat wave temperatures and torrential rain downpours. Work for the last two weeks has been a misery because of the heat. Within an hour my shirt has been soaked from sweat. August always used to be the month of heat desolation, but the last few years it's been July. At least July is almost over and we're at that point in the summer now where I am actually looking forward to Fall.

Scary times up here on the prairies. We’ve been stuck in a run of unprecedented heat (34-35 C) for the past couple of weeks, as a result, fire season has begun, so thick smoke and unbearable temperatures are the norm this week. Yesterday there were tornado warnings for areas north of Calgary, a 4.2 earthquake near Edson, a town close to one of our most beautiful national parks, Jasper, the historic townsite of which was evacuated and now is actively burning to the ground. I hope shit is much calmer wherever you all are and that you’re all safe.

It was 10 C last night, only got to 15 C for a high yesterday and it pissed rain, too bad it was too little too late for the Jasper townsite that burnt to the ground. It’s actually cold here now, went from 34 C to 12 C in less than 24 hours. I would be surprised if it snowed now, welcome to Alberta. www.bbc.com/news/articles/cyj423n2jdgo

It sounds like you guys are having really rough weather again this yaer.
I really hate the summer season of weather now.
Since late June just about every day has been a minimum of 85 degrees F with multiple days in the 90's.
It was a little better this past week but it's gonna get hotter again and be back to the 90's next weekend.
There were like two weeks from late May to early June that were really nice and it's just been gross since then.

I've had a heat headache for weeks. It's August now and we still have nothing but heat with breaks for torrential rain. Every day is one day closer to September. We're about 6 weeks away from the leaves starting to change color here and the first cold breezes of fall and I can't wait. The last two months have been so hot I haven't worked out once. I get home and I turn on two fans and the AC unit in my bedroom and I stay there until I have to go to work.

Yeah, I've had a headache from heat and lack of sleep the past few days.
Fortunately the heat is going to break tonight with a thunderstorm that may last a few days. I think we'll get temperatures in the 70's for the next week which is awesome compared to how things have been.

Overcast, cloudy and cool. My favorite kind've day. Already feeling the first twinges of fall even though it's still August.

After brain-melting temperatures for much of the summer, I'm very happy to take a cool, rainy Sunday 👍
