Only cowboys are allowed to "cowboy" their weapons. Anyone else doing it just looks lame.

Great article there. A lot of new information that I hadn't heard yet. I like the double tap command and also the easy warning shot command. I thought I'd have to do a warning shot manually but it seems the game gives me an easy way to do it so that the NPC's/animals recognize it. Wow, so you can basically extort shopkeepers for goods once you find out their illegal side business? That also gets me thinking because one of the videos I saw showed "hidden rooms" in the game. I'm also hearing that there are far fewer buildings in the game that you can't enter. Seems like you can go in just about every place on the map and that plus the "hidden rooms" feature really encourages more explanation. Then you throw in the idea that some shop keepers may be operating below standards of community legitimacy (looking at you, Herbert Moon) and there is a ton of incentive to check out every nook and cranny in this game. I did that in RDR just because I loved searching but RDR 2 seems to reward you with more places to explore and more content to find beyond just a few bucks for opening up someone's foot locker or wardrobe. But the real question is: Shotgun shells made with Gritty Fish? 🐟

Coming closer to zero hour. Although I did get an e-mail from Amazon letting me know they are going to miss their ship date for it, so I may not see it until early November.

Can't say how thankful I am that it'll have an install disc. Would have taken days for me to get that downloaded otherwise.

Well unfortunately i'm regretfully setting this 1 out. I cancelled my pre order. I thought my eyes would be better by now. I expected to have surgery but it didn't happen. I don't think i would be able tofully enjoy it. I won't just make my way through it. Well hope to hear everyone's tales._. Enjoy

I hate that you have to deal with that Scorp. I really do. You were one of the best RDR players out there.
I personally am holding off until I get more memory on my console with an external drive.

I remember how insane Rockstar went with the minute details of Grand Theft Auto 5 and it looks like Red Dead 2 is going to have the same amount of attention.

Hasn't that always been their business strategy though?
Gets them to sell more games based on their reputation I would imagine.

Early access players have said the game is using the Max Payne 3 shooting mechanics which is good news as many people who played Max Payne 3 consider it one of the best third person shooting engines ever made. Also has the Max Payne 3 cinematic kill camera.
