Clear some hard drive space. Full install of the game is 105gigs. Fortunately I have a nice 5tb external hooked up to my pro. I'll be getting a PS4 Pro just for Red Dead 2 so I don't mind allocating the space. My only concern is what version of the PS4 Pro I should get. If I want to do the full install (which I assume would lead to optimum performance), will the 1 TB version be enough? Space wise it should be but am I missing something here? Should I buy extra storage in addition to make sure RDR 2 runs as smoothly as can be?

I think all pro's have 1tb hdd's and are all the same hardware wise so you can get any edition of the pro you want. 1tb space is way more than you need, but if you're like me and have a lot of games you can run out of room fast. All PS4 games automatically install themselves as soon as the disk goes in.

Thanks for the clarification! 😎
I should be okay then. I really only plan to get RDR 2 for the PS4 for the time being and play that til my hands merge with the controller. I shouldn't have any issues with it competing with other games for space. I was toying with getting SF5 and KOF XIV but realistically I don't see myself playing them that much once RDR 2 comes out. Then my gaming time will be like 45% RDR 2, 45% FPW, and maybe like 10% KOF 2002: UM.
Continue/Do Not Continue 😁

My reactions to the video: I think the wolves got larger 😱
The fighting looks incredible! It seems like there are new options.
There's one scene where someone is holding you from behind and someone else is attacking you. I'm not sure if that was a cut scene but imagine if that's actually possible for Arthur to do? In singles or in multiplayer?
R-trigger to RDR 2 shuld we do it?
There were a lot of interesting positions possible during the fights. It really seems like grappling is possible to some degree and maybe even grappling + throwing/pushing which would be awesome. Throwing/pushing someone off a moving train in cinematic mode may be my new primary goal in this game.
I LOVE the cinematic camera options. Never was a game more perfect for that option. I loved watching the cinematic camera as Arthur ran on top of the train as it was crossing a high bridge. And holy shit those snow scenes 🌨
And wow, hidden rooms in houses behind cabinets?
What has me the most excited is the realization that Rockstar has done what I was wishing for over the past few years. It really seems that the NPC's react to what you do as Arthur outside the normal missions. Be an asshole, and they will either fear or hate you. While that does seem kind of tied to a geographic range around the town they are in, it's still absolutely incredible. I'm not sure how far your reputation follows you as to your actions outside the storyline, but they sure seem to follow you in a town for at least a few game days. That's mind blowing because it's exactly what I wanted from this game. The townfolk have longer memories now. What you do seems to matter as to how you are treated. That's PEAK open world in my view.
I can't f'n wait! 💥

This thing about events just happening as you wander the world, seamless transition between free roam and "missions" has me creaming up a storm. It looks like those 2-1 fights are part of that, like you can just walk into ambushes and have to fight em off to survive. I literally can't even anymore.

What I also really want to know is if you can lure aggressors (the law or bounty hunters) to your gang's camp so that you can have backup. Say there's some eager beaver law lover or filthy Boba Fett bounty hunter who is out to make a name for himself and you catch onto him. I want to come back to camp while he's following me and have ole Uncle string him up into a stew for the Marstons and company.
2-1 fights at the camp would also be awesome.
"Son, you stepped out of your element. Grab him, Javier, while I make mince meat out of his middle parts."
*PUNCH TO STOMACH* *PUNCH TO STOMACH* *PUNCH TO STOMACH* *PANTING* *PUNCH TO STOMACH*

Too bad you all are getting it on PS4, I would love to play with you. I have a PS4 but my brother only has an Xbox One so I get a lot of third party games on Xbox One so that I can game share with him.

Hey check out joe bonamassa song ''redemption'' on youtube. I think it would be a perfect trailer song As someone who owns every album Bonamassa's ever put out, either solo, or with one of his many side projects, I fully approve. And Redemption is one heck of an album as a whole, too.

I don't think it's possible to get any more hyped. All we can do now is appreciate how Rockstar is once again going to raise the benchmark for open world games.
