I miss the multiplayer on the PS2 Red Dead. Just me? Yea, no. It might be just you. RDR is sorta like a Metroid and Zelda in that the very essence of it is in the single player. Maybe I laid it on too thick, lol, but you know what I mean. |

Geese, I'm pretty sure I read a "gameplay impressions" article and the guy said he lassoed a bull by mistake and it did not end well, so I'm pretty sure the lasso is still a thing.

I really REALLY hope that the lasso is still in the game or some similar mechanic. I've been looking for mentions of the lasso in all the news and previews but haven't seen it yet. My two absolute favorite game mechanics of the past 8 years have been RDR's lasso and Sleeping Dogs' grappling system that allowed you to walk with your opponent and also throw them places. I enjoyed both of them SO much that I couldn't get into GTA 5 anywhere near as much as I wanted because there was no real way to "control" opponents like in those two games. I'd roam the really fun world but wouldn't be able to interact with NPC's and enemies the way that I wanted to. (Though running and doing a drop headbutt was fun, as was the taser). I would be really disappointed if the lasso isn't in RDR 2. Clear some hard drive space. Full install of the game is 105gigs. Fortunately I have a nice 5tb external hooked up to my pro.
