so....went back to RDR2. Tried that stupid dominoes challenge again and got 3 wins in a row legit on the first try. Games are funny. Now I have to go find a bunch of perfect, tiny bird carcasses. RDR2 is the hardest 100% I've ever tried to get. Nice, glad you aced those bones 🎲🎲 May 18th falls on a Monday this year and marks the 10 year anniversary of the release of Red Dead Redemption! ⏳ It was a Tuesday back in 2010 but I remember going to a midnight launch at a Gamespot on Monday night and playing the game from like 1 am until 7 am early Tuesday morning. There aren't that many games which I remember playing so vividly for the first time but I can remember that entire night from the feel of the midnight release (with tumbleweeds blowing through the empty street) to my dinner that I had right before opening the game as it laid on my bed, to the feeling of entering Armadillo for the right time through the train station and being blown away. Yeah, that game made quite the impact on me 🤠 |

My PS4 stopped loading and ejecting discs so I can only play digital games. Im having RDR2 witdrawls.

well, I finally got it. 100% completion on RDR2. Now I can go back to my normal life lol.  I tried and got VERY close with RDR1, gave up because of the gambling shit. Congrats, you are a gaming stallion! 🙂 |

Congrats on 100% completion!! I still need to actually finish the story of the game. I was putting so much time into starting fights, going sightseeing, and doing side quests that I had to stop playing the game entirely. I'm incapable of playing it for less than an hour (I need time to really breathe and enjoy it and I can't do that with small play sessions). Then when I try to designate 2-3 hours to play it, it turns into 4-5. So I had to just stop altogether. I never went back to finish the story. I'm somewhere in Chapter 4 I think. Someone hit me up for a rum transfer in a side quest, last I remember. I really do want to go back to the story. I'm hoping I'll have the time, and discipline, to finish it this summer. I miss a lot of the locales too. |

You won't regret it geese. RDR2 has the best storyline of any game I've ever played. The voice acting and motion capture is just incredible. Once you get into Chapter 5 the momentum really picks up and you won't be able to stop until you see how everything is resolved.

One reason I stopped playing through is because the story in the chapter that I was in got a little slow for me. I had recently got to Saint Denis and I was not blown away with the story compared to where it had been and what my expectations were. There were some parts I did like a lot but I was hoping things would move a bit quicker after the previous chapter took a little long to conclude. I think that's why I started going back to more random playing, even in totally different areas of the map than the story line is. After the funny Frankenstein mission which I loved, I hung around in that northeastern area of the map for like weeks since it's beautiful. Awesome waterfalls to plunge down as well 😁
I did like that Dutch was taking a more active role in the story though. And I really do want to get back into it soon. I have heard that it gets really moving as the team gets strained and chased after. |

But yeah I'll try to remember when I'm on tomorrow to send you a couple of pics.
I'm actually really lucky since a crew of 4 or 5 other guys I know from the online poker community I'm in have been playing RDO hardcore since launch pretty much. We all keep Cripps cooking during the afternoons and then an night once we're all done we take turns making long distance deliveries as a posse and raking in a bunch of money at once. It's not a ton but I know I have way more money and gold than I would have if I was playing solo lol.

Oof yeah, I was broke as hell playing solo for like the first year, until I finally started using the online collector map. But yeah I still do all the jobs and stuff (but haven't done a stranger mission in a long time) cause it's fun and the cash/gold is a nice bonus.

lol, randomly running into SluggBugg in a public lobby was an unexpected treat. We tipped our hats, we laughed at each other, waved to each other and then went on our ways. Made for such a nice change from getting grief murdered lol
and Sluggo only thinks I'm hot because he caught me running around the desert in my underwear.
