DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Vol 24: Cram Session II
After a warmup match where Florida Man destroyed Willy Jakes with ease, we had the Cram Session's first stage matches; Previous Cram Session winner Irwin Rayne would get the win for his team with a schoolboy cradle on Sergio Kontos while Billy Gruff put away Jim Fresno with the Billy Club to set the other side of the bracket. Meanwhile Alexandra Stava would best both Jerome Albus and Jake Wilde in a special qualifier for the Varsity Tag Team gold. In the second round of the Cram Session, Bryan Storm would catch Psycho Killer only to get caught in a cradle by Irwin Rayne but it was Richard Lyon who would advance to the finals with a Dragon Suplex. Meanwhile Grease Monkey would defeat all three of his Second Stage opponents, submitting Lucy Morgenstern with Rack and Pinon to advance. Morgan Andrews would debut against the Dojo sensei Corey O'Brian and would impress everyone nearly getting the win with his "Storm Surge" Spear and "Classic Northeaster" (Oklahoma Stampede) only to fall to the "Core Meltdown" and the three count from the legend. The finals of the Cram Session was a thriller as Richard Lyon and Grease Monkey battled back and forth for over twenty minutes for supremacy but it was Grease Monkey winning the day with a picture perfect Dragon Suplex. Lastly it was Head of Class Championship match and Kerry Barnes brought the fight to Grenville and it seemed like we'd see a new champ but Grenville used Kerry Barnes' own "Six Feet Under" for the three count. 0. DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Volume 25
After a warmup match where Jeremy Filth bested Tommy Knock in under a minute we had Jerome Albus, Richard Lyon, and Irwin Rayne bested Jim Fresno, Psycho Killer, and Lucy Morgenstern while John Carlton and Bryan Storm knocked off Mike Marino and Antonio Smooth. Meanwhile in a physical slugfest Frank Huxley hit a High Noon Piledriver on the floor to Billy Gruff on the way to a Roughneck Lariat for the pin. In a rematch of their graduation match, Morgan Andrews avenged his defeat over Body Count IV with a beauty of a Dragon Suplex, while Sergio Kontos and Gal Friday had a fantastic battle ending with Sergio submitting Friday with the Half Crab. Meanwhile Alexandra Stava and Kellie Shark looked to be double champions against Varsity Tag Team champions Kerry Barnes and Jake Wilde; however despite the WMD Tag Champs having a ton of momomentum the defending champs rallied on and Kerry Barnes managed to hoist Stava on his shoulders for a rin-shaking Ride The Lightning for the pin. In a first-time ever technical war between two all-time greats Jack Panama and Chris DaMico would battle all over the mat for over twenty minutes, but DaMico trying to end it with "La Rosa Del Entiero" (Mexican Stretch) would get countered with Panama throwing DaMico in the corner to set up a superplex for the three count. Finally it was Head of Class action and it was the fight of Grease Monkey's career as he had Grenville on the back heel for the majority of it, even nearly getting the win with his high bridge Dragon Suplex, but when Grenville caught him in the "Godslayer Bomb" it ended as it always does, with the three count and the Neo Beast standing tall. 0. Jeremy Filth d. Tommy Knock 0:56 via Moonsault 1. Jerome Albus, Richard Lyon, and Irwin Rayne d. Jim Fresno, Psycho Killer, and Lucy Morgenstern 10:59 when Lyon pinned Morgenstern via Flying Elbow 2. John Carlton and Bryan Storm d. Mike Marino and Antonio Smooth 14:34 when Carlton pins Marino via "Shadow Kick" (Superkick) 3. Frank Huxley d. Billy Gruff 11:07 via Roughneck Lariat 4. Morgan Andrews d. Body Count IV 10:49 via Dragon Suplex 5. Sergio Kontos d. Gal Friday 18:39 via Half Crab 6. Varsity Tag Team: Kerry Barnes and Jake Wilde (c) d. Alexandra Stava and Kellie Shark 23:25 when Barnes pins Stava via "Ride The Lightning" (Electric Chair) 7. Jack Panama d. Chris DaMico 23:42 via Superplex 8. Head of Class: Grenville(c) d. Grease Monkey 17:42 via "Godslayer Bomb" (Last Ride)
But before the cameras cut... "Cthulhu Dawn" by Cradle of Filth played and Grenville looked to the ramp, initially in confusion but then shock as WILLIAM KING made his way down, carrying a wheelbarrow of barbed wire bats and light tubes, wearing a new jacket with the sickly green runes of the Warrior of Rhy'leh visible underneath. King BRUTALIZED Grenville, SHANKING him with a piece of glass and driving him into a barbed wire bat before choking out Grenville with the Cthulhu Clutch! William King stood over the bloody and unconsious Grenville to close the night, a grim preview of their upcoming SFU South Florida Heavyweight title match.

DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Vol 26
After a warmup bout where Jessika Strauss bulldozed Kelly X, we had six person tag action as Grease Monkey gave Alexandra Stava a submission loss in her last night in DSD with the Antagonizer, while Richard Lyon would get a win with the Cat's Meow over Mike Marino to build some momentum. Body Count IV would pin both Bryan Storm and Billy Gruff with a modified version of his father's (the original Body Count) finisher the Body Bag Bomb. Kellie Shark and Gal Friday had a spectacular back and fort battle ending when Gal Friday caught Shark with the Red Letter Day, while in a hard hitting bout Frank Huxley pinned Morgan Andrews with the Roughneck Lariat. The Varsity Tag champions kept John Carlton and Victor Louis Halberd from qualifying in an amazing 35 minute bout ending with a Kerry Barnes Six Feet Under. The Beer Guy fresh off his battle with Robert Garavito would step in the ring with Corey O'Brian and to everyone's surprise not only get Corey in trouble on more than one occassion but survive an onslaught of Corey's deadliest submission holds. In the end though the youngster made one mistake too many and was caught in a crossface hold for the submission. Finally Sergio Kontos and Grenville would clash for the Head of Class title. Early it seemed as if this would be over with the Godslayer Bomb... but KONTOS KICKED OUT and came back with a vengeance, catching Grenville in the Opa! Lock forging Grenville to scramble to the ropes. Sergio continued to rally but after a brawl on the floor Grenville found an opening for another Godslayer Bomb and it was too much for Kontos to endure and Grenville retains... but one wonders if the war with William King has left Grenville vulnerable from the physical wear of such a violent match as well as the loss of that invincible aura. 0. DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Vol 27 After a prelim match between DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Graduates, young Tyler Morgan would catch Indiana Frost with a lariat to be the next to get a formal debut. Psycho Killer and Jerome Albus got a much needed win over Mike Marino and Lucy Morgenstern while Bryan Storm and Grease Monkey would climb the ranks over Jim Fresno and Irwin Rayne.
Antonio Smooth would submit Billy Gruff with the Silken Noose and then quickly fell Kellie Shark with a superkick; after the match though Ximena Valentina and Bianca Espada, aka Reinas de la Calles, would jump the rails and deliver a beating to Kellie Shark and fleeing before backup could arrive. Morgan Andrews would flatten John Carlton with the Storm Surge while Body Count IV would try to make it to the top of the ranks but fall to Richard Lyon and his Hear Me Roar!.
The Varsity Tag Qualifier was next and in a back and forth battle Jake Wilde would need to resort to dropping Queen Bee with a Super Powerbomb to keep their titles secure. Rookie Donnie Xi would face off against Corey O'Brian in a tryout to train with the rest of the DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo and as the match continued the ENTIRE DOJO stepped onto the stage to watch in awe as the wrestling prodigy went hold for hold with Corey O'Brian before being caught in the Death Note for the three count.
Last was the Head of Class match between Frank Huxley and Grenville. The Neo Beast still seemed to be feeling the effects of the barbaric match that he had with William King as Huxley had no fear of the monster going into this, but Grenville's power and tenacity allowed him to fight back at crucial moments. In the end though Huxley would need a butterfly suplex followed by a Roughneck Lariat to get a nearfall, Grenville was clearly out on his feet and a second butterfly suplex -> Roughneck Lariat combo would end the historic reign of Grenville once and for all.

Special note from legendary wrestler The Wildcat: "I sent my son Richard Lyon here because, well, I just didn't feel like I was the right person to help him break into this business. Seeing him wrestle, I've never been happier than I've been in my life, and I'll be proud of my kid. And he inspired me. I started working out again and while I'm not the same old King of the Jungle, prowling the strip... I think I got enough juice to go on the hunt once more. RAWR!"

DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo 28
After a preshow bout where red hot Cheese Goblin submitted Willy Jakes with the Asiago Deathlock, Lucy Morgenstern and Jim Fresno would start their climb back up the ranks at the expense of Mike Marino and Irwin Rayne while Pyscho Killer and Billy Gruff get a win over Kellie Shark and Jerome Albus. In a three-way dance John Carlton would fell Body Count IV with a Shadow Kick only for Bryan Storm to take him down with the Thunderbolt for the win.
Grease Monkey was game against Gal Friday but submitted to her Red Letter Day while explosive power fell slick mat grappling as Morgan Andrews blew past Antonio Smooth with the Storm Surge. The Wildcat made his return from retirement alongside Richard Lyon and took Kerry Barnes and Jake Wilde to the limit but despite Wildcat nearly getting the with the Cat's Meow it was Jake Wilde who won the day making Richard Lyon Ride The Lightning for the three count.
New graduate Tyler Morgan went hold for hold with Corey O'Brian but the legend countered an STF attempt and maneuvered intot he Core Meltdown to end a 21+ minute clinic. Lastly it was Head of Class action as the sensational Donnie Xi went up against Frank Huxley in an absolute nail biting contest. Huxley hit the High Noon Piledriver, put in the sleeper hold and even the Roughneck Lariat and Donnie hit a ring-shaking Observer Effect but after 22 minutes of war Huxley went for a second Roughneck Lariat only to get caught in a flying triangle having no choice but to tap out as Donnie Xi won his first championship in wrestling in spectacular fashion.

After the cameras stopped rolling, Frank Huxley took a bow and put the title around Xi's waist, shaking hands with Corey O'Brian and Xander Starr, the latter handing him what we later found out was a contract offered by the Magic City Wrestling front office. One of the longest serving members of the DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo has finally been signed to another promotion full time and not a single person in the arena wasn't happy for him and grateful for all the work he's done in DRAGONSUPLEX Dogo.

Great matches with Donnie Xi and Tyler Morgan being so competitive against Corey!
The Dojo is definitely putting out top quality competitors 😎
Loved the ending of 28 with the belt ceremony and Magic City Wrestling contract for Xi.
"Asiago Deathlock" is such a great move name for the red hot but thankfully not melted Cheese Goblin 😄

DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Volume 29
After a warmup match where Cap'n Edward Read handily bested Willy Jakes, Jim Fresno and Jerome Albus would get a win over Mike Marino and Irwin Rayne thanks to a Fresno Dragon Brainbuster. Body Count IV and Lucy Morgenstern would have a protracted battle with Psycho Killer and Billy Gruff getting the win with the Toe Tag, while in a show-stealing performance John Carlton pinned Grease Monkey with a swandive senton followed by a 450.
A battle between two longtime rivals Bryan Storm and Richard Lyon would end with Lyon on top with a small package, while new graduate Tyler Morgan would outwrestle fellow mat specialist Antonio Smooth, reversing one of Smooth's STF with a dragon screw into one of his own for the submission. The Varsity Tag Title Qualifier would end with the champs on top as Gal Friday and Kellie Shark fell to Jake Wilde and Kerry Barnes after a Camel Clutch to Gal Friday.
Indiana Frost would come out with passion looking to impress with her graduation match against Corey O'Brian and while she delivered some hard-hitting offense and roughhouse style ground work she would be submitted with the Honnouji. Finally it was Head of Class Championship time between Morgan Andrews and the white hot Donnie Xi. Xi would try multiple times to catch Andrews with the Mobius Hold but eventually the whiffs would lead to two shortarm lariats into the Storm Surge for a huge upset win!

After the cameras rolled however, Guy Jordan, SIGMA, and DESPAIR II jumped the rails and headed into the ring. Xander Starr took his headset off and ran to the ring and Corey O'Brian made a beeline from the back, telling Andrews and Xi to get out before entering the ring as well. Corey tried to talk sense to Guy Jordan but Jordan responded only by taking his shirt off, and the Miasma are about to charge when a voice can be heard from the crowd.
Steven O'Brian: "STAND DOWN."
Steven O'Brian jumped the rail as well, grabbing a mic and sliding in the ring, standing in the middle.
Steven O'Brian: "We were here to scout Donnie Xi, and nothing more. So again, I am ORDERING you, to STAND DOWN."
Xander Starr is still in a fighting stance but Corey seemed to relax his own, staring at the Miasma. Guy Jordan is arguing with Steven O'Brian who responds with a backhand across the face, Jordan stumbling but staying on his feet. Steven turns the microphone over threatening to brain the next one who steps forward, but instead Jordan, SIGMA, and DESPAIR II back out of the ring and are escorted out by security. Corey meanwhile has been handed a mic of his own.
Corey: "Steven, I appreciate that. And I want you to know, I've long since forgiven you for everything. And... whatever wrong I may have done to you, I never meant it, and hope you can forgive me too."
Steven doesn't turn to look at his cousin, and Xander is still in 'ready mode' as if expecting Steven to attack... but instead he puts the microphone to his lips.
Steven: "I do not accept your forgiveness, or your apology."
He drops the mic, leaving the ring. Corey apologizes to the crowd for what just happened and wishes everyone get homes safely while Xander is still on guard, watching Steven until he's also out of sight.

That was a great closing angle!! Great closing line and moment to end the show. I liked the friction between Steven and Miasma too. That was really interesting.

DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Vol 30: Cram Session III
After a warm-up match for Kurt Mauser, we had the first round of the Cram Session, Richard Lyon leading his team to victory pinning Body Count IV with the flying elbow, while in the other half of the round Jim Fresno would help his side of the brackets advance by pinning the top-ranked Tyler Morgan with a flawless diving splash. The Varsity Tag Special Qualifier was a three-way dance for the first time ever and while Irwin Rayne would eliminate the champ Jake Wilde it would by Donnie Xi that'd get the pin with his awe-inspiring Xineohp Press for the three count.
In the second round of the Cram Session, Kellie Shark would first pin Jerome Albus with the Flipper Killer early on, while John Carlton would force Richard Lyon to submit to the Box Office Sleeper; however it was Shark who would advance to the finals with a second Flipper Killer and the win. Jim Fresno looked poised to join her by pinning Psycho Killer with the splash and submitting Gal Friday with the Figure 4 but it was Grease Monkey who would get the better of him with the Rack and Pinion. Meanwhile the legends match between The Wildcat, his best friend Leonardo Giovanni Jr, and former rival John Foreman would go nearly fifty minutes with Corey O'Brian, Xander Starr, and Jack Panama but in the end it was Starr that got the surprising pin over Wildcat with the Sacred River Suplex. After the match O'Brian and Wildcat, who have never faced off one-on-one, would share a handshake to an appreciate crowd's approval.
The Finals of the Cram Session would begin and Shark and Monke would have a back and forth battle; it looked like Grease Monkey would have a repeat performance of when he won the last Cram Session at Vol 24 but Kellie Shark would escape the Rack And Pinion and the Antagonizer to recover and hit a third Flipper Killer of the night for the big win! And lastly it was Head of Class title time as Kerry Barnes looked to succeed where he fell short at Vol 24, this time against the dynamic Morgan Andrews. The two would brawl in a back and forth duel but just as Morgan Andrews looked to have this match won, Barnes hoisted him up on his shoulders for Satan's Fall and the three count! Kerry Barnes becomes the first person to hold both the Varsity Tag and the Head of Class titles at the same time, throwing up the horns in celebration as we ended the night.
