DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Wrestling
Since it's beginnings as the DPW Dojo, DRAGONSUPLEX Wrestling has been wrestling legend Corey O'Brian's training ground for the next generation of grapplers. And now O'Brian's two latest graduates and six of his star pupils have been chosen to compete in the first season (or semester) of DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Wrestling.
There will be two competitions during the first semester: The two graduates will compete in a head-to-head tournament known as the Head of Class Series, the winner of which will become the first DRAGONSUPLEX Head of Class. And while they'll be competing against each other, in six of the seven features they'll be facing off against competition hand-picked by Corey O'Brian himself, appearing in set pairs: One competitor will face half of the set, the other the other half, then swapping and repeating the process for three pairs. There's an additional incentive to winning the first match: Not only does the winner get a head start, but is the first to decide the order of opponents for the first set of matches during the tour.
The other competition will be a more traditional round-robin format between the six pupils, dubbed the Final Exam Cup with the eventual points winner becoming a full-blown graduate of DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo. One special rule for the Final Exam Cup is that all pinfalls are decided not with a three count, but a two count.
DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Wrestling Presents Semester One Opening
HEAD OF CLASS SERIES: HEAD TO HEAD MATCH Sergio Kontos vs David Atwood
SPECIAL SINGLES MATCH: FIRST TIME IN 15 YEARS Corey O'Brian vs East Coast Cowboy
SPECIAL TAG MATCH: CLASS REUNION Ken Archer and Andi Harms vs Jim Rival and Terra
FINAL EXAM CUP PRELUDE BATTLE ROYALE: WINNER GETS .5 POINTS Richard Lyon vs Guy Jordan vs Psycho Killer vs Alexandra Stava vs Frank Huxley vs Matthew Turtle ------ GRADUATES:
"Greek Fire" Sergio Kontos Signature Move: "Cretian Suplex" (Smith Special) A technical wrestler, Kontos got his nickname for his passion and charisma. Has shown himself to be an intelligent grappler as well, having a penchant for precision limb work.
"Heavy Artillery" David Atwood Signature Move: "SALT II" (Ushigoroshi) A native of Manchester England, David moved to Bermuda at a young age and later went to high school in Florida and played football, eventually being scouted by Corey O'Brian. His stout body is almost all muscle making for a dynamic powerhouse.
UNDERGRADUATES:
"The Prince of the Jungle" Richard Lyon A second generation wrestler, Lyon is the son of Global Wrestling Entertainment mainstay and former GWE Champion The Wildcat, and the resemblance is uncanny down to how Lyon performs his father's finisher "Cat's Meow" (Superkick).
"The Nice Guy" Guy Jordan The textbook definition of a class act, Guy Jordan made the cut for his sheer work ethic and willingness to help his fellow trainees when they're struggling.
"The Runaway Kid" Psycho Killer The only masked wrestler of the undergraduates (wearing a generic mask during his training so he is fully used to it when he graduates), Psycho Killer's intensity and agility make him a potential standout.
"The World's Strongest Woman" Alexandra Stava It's no gimmick, Alexandra has female powerlifting world records to her credit and she's only 20! Stava isn't the first woman to train under Corey O'Brian but she's unlike any who came before her, and may be the strongest person of either sex to come through the dojo.
"The Roughneck" Frank Huxley One of the older graduates of the dojo, being a high school dropout that Corey offered to train if he got his GED, the double tough Huxley has proven to be a worthy investment. Don't underestimate his intelligence either, he's considered the smartest trainee in the Dojo today.
"The Thiccness" Matthew Turtle Canadian-born Turtle was denied by many other dojos but Corey was willing to give him the chance nobody else would, and he's taken it. While not the most agile grappler in the Dojo, he uses his size to his advantage to great effect.

Yes!! Love the idea of this competition! The 2-count is a cool idea for this and the descriptions of the graduates is really informative but also concise. The first event looks like a great start to the project! Overall, this is a very cool way to get a new generation of wrestlers immediately noticed and supported.
Interesting - looking forward to finding out the significance of that match 😎

Semester One- Opening
We began with the Final Exam Battle Royale where the six undergraduates would compete for a half-point advantage- effectively an automatic tiebreaker should they have normally shared first place with other entrants. Everyone was hungry to show themselves as favorites coming into the competition as well as getting a psychological and more tangible advantage, but in the end it was Guy Jordan who surprised everyone by eliminating half the field by his own, incluing Alexandra Stava (albeit by low bridging a lariat), going on to win the battle royale at the expense of Richard Lyon bundling the second generation wrestler over and finishing the job with a dropkick. If "The Nice Guy" can bring performances like that, he might just finish first.
The first of the special exhibition matches would come next as Dojo alumni would compete; newly crowned PGCW Openweight Champion Ken Archer teaming with Amazon-1 standout "The Punisher" Andi Harms against the sibling duo of Jim Rival and Terra. Despite the history between Archer and Rival stemming from their time as The Arch Rivals the two would respect the ground they were standing in and keep this a clean match while their female counterparts were happy to bring the intensity with their submission background. In the end Terra would look for her 'Terraplex' (Half Hatch Suplex) on Archer who would reverse it into 'Archer's Arrow' (Michinoku Driver) for the pinfall victory.
The third contest would be between Corey O'Brian, the head and founder of the Dojo and UBL Heavyweight Champion against a fellow South Florida wrestling icon, The East Coast Cowboy. The last time these two were in the same ring was over fifteen years ago; the two faced off at the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair for ECC's United States Wrestling Alliance Florida Championship, ending in a 30-minute time limit draw. This time around was a lot like their last encounter, but with both men older and wiser it was a more cerebral affair with Corey focusing on his mat game and ECC keeping it in the ring, unlike how each man acted in their previous encounter, but the mood would change when the Cowboy hit a vicious rip cord lariat. He tried to follow up with the 'Cow Catcher' (modified cloverleaf) but Corey managed to fight out of it. The UBL Heavyweight Champion would look for (appropriately enough) a Dragon Suplex, but the Cowboy would block it, switching positions for another rip cord lariat, but Corey would show a skill that he picked up over the last 15 years... his black belt in judo as he took wrist control, flipped the larger man over, and applied a textbook Kimura in the middle of the ring to force a submission.
Last but by no means least however was the battle between "Greek Fire" Sergio Kontos and "Heavy Artillery" David Atwood. This would be David's official pro debut, Sergio having his already with an upset win over veteran brawler Eddie Mudwater. It was a back and forth battle with Sergio living up to his nickname using his intensity to gain an advantage, but was unable to take Atwood down with either a 'Cretian Suplex' (Smith Special) nor the 'OPA! Lock' (LeBell Lock). Atwood would however manage a near fall by following up a massive release powerbomb with a Corey O'Brian-esque running Shotei for a nearfall. Sergio would try a Dragon Suplex but Atwood got his foot on the ropes, answering with an Enzui Shotei followed up by 'SALT I' (Death Valley Brainbuster) for the three count!
After the match Corey would reveal the first set of challenges for the Head of Class series: Veteran junior heavyweight Oakland's Most Wanted and a big man with legendary stamina, "The Sixty Minute Man" Dan Huber. Atwood was given the call of who he wanted to face first, and chose OMW, meaning that Sergio would be facing the King of the Ironman Match in the next installment.
Quick Results: 1. Final Exam Battle Royale: Guy Jordan wins in 15:23 last eliminating Richard Lyon Eliminations- Psycho Killer (by Guy Jordan), Alexandra Stava (by Guy Jordan), Matthew Turtle (by Frank Huxley), Frank Huxley (by Richard Lyon), Richard Lyon (by Guy Jordan)
2. Special Tag Team Match: Ken Archer and Andi Harms d. Jim Rival and Terra in 21:30, Archer pinning Terra with "Archer's Arrow" (Michinoku Driver)
3. Special Singles Match: Corey O'Brian d. East Coast Cowboy in 25:57 by reversing a ripcord lariat into a rolling Kimura
4. Head of Class Series: David Atwood d. Sergio Kontos in 17:20 via "SALT I" (Death Valley Brainbuster) -David Atwood leads Head of Class (1-0) -The first set is announced: Veteran junior heavyweight Oakland's Most Wanted and the master of the Iron Man match, The Sixty Minute Man Dan Huber. Atwood chooses to face OMW in the next round so the first set is in place.

Semester 1: Class 1The Final Exam series began with Frank Huxley vs Guy Jordan, Jordan giving a strong showing until making the mistake of doing a schoolboy rollup into the ropes, allowing Huxley to recover and get the fall with a lariat. Psycho Killer would contend with the size of Matthew Turtle, managing to outwit the larger man by blocking a backdrop and countering with a flash pin to score early points. Lastly Alexandra Stava would try to use her sheer power to overcome Richard Lyon but the second generation wrestler would counter a suplex with the Cat's Meow superkick inherited from his father to round out the fixtures. On the Head of Class side of the card, Sergio Kontos would battle the Sixty Minute Man, Dan Huber. Huber managed to control the pace of the match which was undoubtedly the folly of Kontos, who was able to match Huber hold for hold but Huber's insane stamina advantage took it's effect. Over 25 grueling minutes into the match Kontos would get a nearfall with a huricanrana, but his exhaustion made him slow to get back up, Huber taking advantage by delivering his patented Knee Drop to steal the win. David Atwood on the other hand fared well against junior legend Oakland's Most Wanted, managing to make this a brawl which played into his strengths. After 'Salt I' (Death Valley Brainbuster) onto the floor it was all Atwood, Oakland unable to lock in the 'Oakland Crab' (Liontamer) and David would score a big win with a running Shotei.
1. Frank Huxley d. Guy Jordan in 14:43 via Lariat 2. Psycho Killer d. Matthew Turtle in 12:52 via Rollup 3. Richard Lyon d. Alexandra Stava in 14:51 via Cat's Meow 4. Dan Huber d. Semester 1: Class 2
We began with Frank Huxley loking to advance in the Final Exam at the expense of Matthew Turtle. Huxley nearly got the win when he threw Turtle to the floor and followed it up with a rollup in the ring, but Turtle managed to keep fighting, hitting a brutal Samoan Drop that lead to a stoppage. Next Alexandra Stava would battle with Guy Jordan and Stava showed why she is known as World's Strongest Woman, shrugging off grapples from Jordan with ease and throwing him around effortlessly. Jordan fought back with technique and ring awareness, and this paid off as Stava tried to plant Jordan with a press slam, only for Jordan to escape, deliver a dropkick off the top rope, and apply a half crab for the submission. The last of the fixtures of this round of the Final Exam would be against two winners of the first as Richard Lyon dueled against Psycho Killer. It was a back and forth bout with Killer nearly getting the win with a flying elbow, but when he tried a superplex Lyon would bundle him out to the floor instead. Killer managed to make it back in the ring, and would eat a lariat from Richard Lyon for the two count.
Next was the Head of Class fixtures and Sergio Kontos would try to rally back at the expense of Oakland's Most Wanted. OMW wasn't happy with his poor showing before and was fired up, but Kontos lived up to his Greek Fire moniker and matched the intensity move for move, even surviving the "Oakland Crab" (Elevated Crab) and answering with "Cretian Suplex" (Smith Special German) for a nearfall. Sergio tried to win it all with a crossbody but Oakland got his foot on the ropes, and when they reset Oakland threw a cheap shot in a closed fist, following up with an enzuiri and a running small package to take the win. On the other side of the fixtures David Atwood would have to deal with the unlimited stamina of The Sixty Minute Man Dan Huber. Huber was in control until Atwood delivered a headbutt breaking Huber's nose. Medical officials checked on Huber who was gushing blood but Huber refused to allow the match to stop. Sure enough Huber would not only rally back but actually thrive against David Atwood, until he tried a sleeper hold and got countered into an Enzui Shotei causing him to crumble onto the floor, Atwood getting the fall and making his ascenion to Head of Class nearly a gaurantee.
At the end Sergio Kontos, behind the eight-ball in the series, was able to get first choice between two of Magic City Wrestling's top names: "The Psycho Furry" Freddy Newman or longest reigning MCW champion "Doctor Claw" Michael Ferrum. Kontos chose to face Newman first, setting the second set of matches in the series.
1. Matthew Turtle d. Frank Huxley in 9:44 with a KO via Samoan Drop 2. Guy Jordan d. Alexandra Stava in 12:42 with a Half Crab 3. Richard Lyon d. Psycho Killer in 11:28 with a Lariat 4. Oakland's Most Wanted d. Sergio Kontos in 18:34 with a Running Small Package 5. David Atwood d. Dan Huber in 27:38 with an Enzui Shotei.
Final Exam Rankings: Richard Lyon 4pts Guy Jordan 2.5pts Frank Huxley 2pts Psycho Killer 2pts Matthew Turtle 2pts Alexandra Stava 0pts
Head of Class Rankings: David Atwood: 3 Sergio Kontos: 0 *Sergio Kontos must win every future match to be able to beat Atwood outright. *David Atwood can guarantee at least a tiebreaker with one more win OR one more Kontos loss. *Two more Atwood wins OR one Atwood win and a Kontos loss will clinch Head of Class for Atwood.

Semester 1 Class 3
The Final Exam series continued as Alexandra Stava battled against Frank Huxley, and while she used her size to her advantage for most of the bout it was technique that won it for the World's Strongest Woman as she pinned Huxley with a schoolperson. Richard Lyon was hoping to continue his lead but Matthew Turtle took him to the limit and they almost reached the twenty minute time limit but in the end Turtle managed to shock everyone by pinning Lyon with a rollup. Lastly Psycho Killer and Guy Jordan battled for momentum but in the end Guy Jordan countered a Falcon Arrow attempt into a DDT for the two count.
Meanwhile in Head of Class competition Sergio Kontos would battle MCW's "Psycho Furry" Freddy Newman in a technically sound bout, Newman's size playing a factor but Kontos survived the "GLOMP!" (Spear), "Freddy to Belly" (Belly to Belly), and the "Yiff U" (Fireman's Carry Slam). Newman tried to go for a superplex but Kontos fought him off, hitting a huge knee drop into the Dolphin Clutch for the nearfall, but the shift in momentum allowed him to turn the tables and deliver a "Yiff U" of his own for the win! On the other side however David Atwood had a tall order against the MCW Heavyweight Champion, Ferrum using his technical prowess to stunt Atwood's offense. Ferrum seemed to have it won when he applied THE CLAW but Atwood managed to barely get his foot on the ropes. A booming Running Shotei from Atwood followed by "SALT I" (Death Valley Brainbuster) lead to the win and Atwood is one result in his favor away from being Head of Class.
1. Alexandra Stava d. Frank Huxley 10:46 via Schoolperson 2. Matthew Turtle d. Richard Lyon 18:36 via Schoolboy 3. Guy Jordan d. Psycho Killer 12:49 via DDT 4. Sergio Kontos d. Freddy Newman 20:16 via "Yiff U" 5. David Atwood d. Michael Ferrum 18:31 via "SALT I"
Final Exam Rankings: Guy Jordan 4.5pts Richard Lyon 4pts Matthew Turtle 4pts Frank Huxley 2pts Psycho Killer 2pts Alexandra Stava 2pts
Head of Class Rankings: David Atwood: 4 Sergio Kontos: 1 -David Atwood clinches with one more win OR a Sergio Kontos loss -Sergio Kontos can secure a tiebreaker by winning his remaining matches IF David Atwood loses his remaining matches as well.

Semester 1 Class 4
We started with Frank Huxley tangling with Richard Lyon, the latter hoping to secure a good position moving into the final round. It was a physical battle with Lyon getting the upper hand near the end, but after he missed a flying elbow Huxley caught him in a half crab for the submission. Psycho Killer would battle Alexandra Stava, overcoming her power with his agility. Stava would rally back, looking for a superplex but Killer managed to fight her off and counter with a flying elbow for the three count. Lastly Matthew Turtle and Guy Jordan would do battle and if Jordan won he would clinch the tournament outright right then and there. After seventeen grueling back and forth minutes Turtle would catch Jordan with a sleeper hold to get the win. Now it's a wide open field with four of the six entrants in the hunt to win it all.
Next it's the head of class fixtures and Sergio Kontos was looking to repeat the feat of his fellow graduate in defeating MCW Heavyweight Champion Michael Ferrum. This was a back and forth, cerebral mat wrestling contest for most of this match, Kontos getting momentum built up until Ferrum caught him with a big backbreaker and a flying knee drop. He hit the swinging side slam to set up THE CLAW but Kontos got wrist control instead and reversed it to the "OPA! Lock" (LeBell Lock). Ferrum got to the ropes, and managed to send Sergio to the floor, hitting a suicide dive, then moving to follow up with a plancha but Kontos managed to get in the ring underneath, Ferrum hitting the floor kneefirst! This was a huge opening as Kontos had focused a lot on Ferrum's leg in the early going. Ferrum beat the 20 count but was immediately caught in a hurricanrana, Kontos putting all his weight in holding down the good leg to prevent a kickout, one, two three!
But Sergio wasn't out of the woods yet as David Atwood went up against the Psycho Furry, Freddy Newman. Atwood thought he had the power advantage over the chunkier Newman, but Newman showed resilience taking a lot of Atwood's abuse and coming back with smothering ground work. Newman seemed to have it with "Yiff U" (Fireman's Carry Slam) but Atwood was able to kick out. Newman still kept the pressure, but a missed "GLOMP!" (Spear) allowed Atwood to deal a running Shotei, "SALT II" (Ushigoroshi) and "SALT I" (Fireman's Carry Brainbuster) for a win with stlye to clinch Head of Class.
After the match Corey O'Brian came out, saying that while Atwood had already clinched Head of Class the dual series would still continue, so both men can show to the wrestling world what they are capable of. He announced the final set as female roughhouse Ripper Reno and the legendary hardcore wrestler October Raven. Since both men would want to get the opportunity to beat the Death Metal Warrior at the Semester finale, he would flip for it. Heads, Sergio got the call, tails Atwood. The coin came up heads, and indeed Sergio opted to face Reno first meaning he'd get the bout with October Raven to close out the Semester.
1. Frank Huxley d. Richard Lyon 15:12 via Half Crab 2. Psycho Killer d. Alexandra Stava 11:59 via Flying Elbow 3. Matthew Turtle d Guy Jordan 17:30 via Sleeper Hold 4. Head of Class: Sergio Kontos d. Michael Ferrum 22:34 via Hurricanrana 5. Head of Class: David Atwood d. Freddy Newman 16:20 via "SALT I"
Final Exam Rankings: Matthew Turtle 6pts Guy Jordan 4.5pts Richard Lyon 4pts Frank Huxley 4pts Psycho Killer 4pts Alexandra Stava 2pts -Matthew Turtle clinches with a win (by points) OR Huxley and Lyon winning (via Head-To-Head) ALSO can get a tie with Killer and Lyon winning (equal Head-To-Head) -Guy Jordan cliches with a win AND a Turtle loss (via half-point advantage) -Psycho Killer clinches with a win AND a Turtle loss AND a draw between Lyon and Jordan (via head-to-head over Turtle), ALSO can get a tie with a win AND a Turtle loss AND Lyon winning (equal head to head) -Richard Lyon can tie with a win AND a Turtle loss AND a Killer win (by equal head-to-head) -Frank Huxley is mathematically eliminated; any scenario where he has the points to match the competition, he loses head to head having lost to both Matthew Turtle and John Lyon -Alexandra Stava is mathematically eliminated; no scenario exists where she would be in first place, alone or in a tie.

Semester 1, Class 5
The final fixtures of this semester's Head of Class began with Psycho Killer battling Frank Huxley. Killer did his best to keep his chances afloat but Huxley was determined to finish strong, using a suplex to set up a crossbody for the two count. This meant Richard Lyon was also eliminated form contention as he fought Guy Jordan but that didn't stop Lyon from wanting to play spoiler, however he missed the Cat's Meow and Jordan caught him with a Dragon Suplex. It came down to Matthew Turtle and Alexandra Stava, and Turtle tried to curry favor with the World's Strongest Woman with a boquet of roses, which she quickly tore in half ("Worth a shot," Turtle would say). Stava made it a hard night for Matthew, but he escaped a press slam attempt, countering into a Russian legsweep follow up with a lariat for the three count to win Final Exam!
Now it was time for the Upperclassmen to fight for pride, Sergio Kontos first up to battle against the "Queen of the Wasteland" Ripper Reno. Kontos was thrown off as Ripper matched him on the mat, and while he rallied back, he made a crucial mistake, missing a lariat which Ripper Reno reversed into a backbreaker for a quick pin.
David Atwood would go up against the legendary October Raven now and this battle was hard and heavy as they brawled up and down the Dojo. October Raven seemed to have control in the end, nearly getting the win with "Butcher Babies" (Cobra Clutch Backbreaker) but when he tried to throw Atwood to the ropes, looking for a lariat but Atwood just bowled him over with a running Shotei for the three count!
1. Frank Huxley d. Psycho Killer 11:51 via Crossbody 2. Guy Jordan d. Richard Lyon 12:23 via Dragon Suplex 3. Matthew Turtle d. DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Semester 1 Finale Show
We opened with a special tag rules featuring the Undergraduates including new Undergrad "The Hero" Ryan Zero. All six competitors gave a good showing to impress in the finale but it was Ryan Zero who would take the honors, showing his killer instinct by ducking a Psycho Killer lariat and countering it by sending Killer over the ropes.
Next was the graduation ceremony match for Matthew Turtle as he faced off against Ken Archer. Turtle got to show off some moves he polished in preparation for this, including his new signagure move, "Thicc Air" (Top Rope Senton) but the former PGCW Openweight Champion endured. Turtle managed to kick out of "Archer's Arrow" (Michinoku Driver) and even "Archer's Arrow III: Third Strike" (One Winged Angel) but the latter move did enough damage that Archer was able to capitalize with a flying Double Stomp for the pinfall.
Our next contest would feature the man who is now officially Head of Class, David Atwood as he battles the always dangerous Ripper Reno. Atwood seemed to take Ripper lightly but she managed to make David regret it, shutting down his offense and finishing him off by following up a Frog Splash with her modified half crab called "Slave Tamer" for the submission.
The Sensei would get in the ring now as he went up against a competitor that some say is the next Corey O'Brian, "The Man In Blue" Scott Saphyre. The two would have a mat-based duel for the ages and it seemed like Scott had O'Brian on the ropes, using his array of unique submissions to great effect but Saphyre forgot one small detail... some of those moves were learned in the DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo. Corey managed to escape them all, and eventually caught The Man In Blue with Core Meltdown for the end of a classic encounter.
Last but not least Sergio Kontos, fresh off a huge accomplishment by becoming the champion of Miami-based Magic City Wrestling, but he's got a tall order in facing off against the legendary Death Metal Warrior, October Raven. Raven brought the punishment taking Kontos to HEADBUTT CITY but Kontos managed to keep to a mat-based gameplan, and kept his cool even when the hardcore legend would look for the world famous HEAD LARIAT, Kontos would evage and deliver a huricanrana for the three count.
We closed the show with David Atwood being presented with the Head of Class title belt and Matthew Turtle a trophy and diploma. Corey O'Brian would have one more announcement, that next Semester's opening show will begin with David Atwood facing Corey O'Brian himself!
1. Jordan/Huxley/Zero d. Lyon/Killer/Stava in 18:49 when Ryan Zero thew Psycho Killer over the top rope 2. Ken Archer d. Matthew Turtle 20:43 via Double Stomp 3. Ripper Reno d. David Atwood 15:46 via "Slave Tamer" after a Frog Splash 4. Corey O'Brian d. Scott Saphyre 26:38 via "Core Meltdown" 5. Sergio Kontos d. October Raven 18:58 via Huricanrana

DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Semester Two Opening Class
We began with the prelude battle royale as the six undergrads battled for the half-point advantage. Guy Jordan was quick to get the first elimination at the expense of Alexandra Stava but found himself eliminated by Psycho Killer who in turn was eliminated in short order by newcomer Ryan Zero. Zero would hold out to the end while Frank Huxley eliminated Richard Lyon and looked to take Huxley down but the roughneck reversed it and tossed Zero over the ropes instead.
Next was a special presentation as Women of Mass Destruction champion and women's hardcore legend Gutter battled DRAGONSUPLEX alum Terra. Terra fought hard but the street-smart veteran stayed one step ahead, a release rana following up with a Mad Splash for the three count.
Our next battle was a six-man tag featuring the guests in the Head of Class competition as Johnny Morbid and The Aristocrats battled the makeshift team of Joss McKenzie, Yuuki Tsukino and Dr Lobster's Evil Twin. It was a back and forth battle but the experienced unit won the day, The Aristocrats disabling McKenzie and Tsukino with "Spitroast Suplex" (Magic Killer) and Morbid slapping an STF on the mad scientist lobster for the submission.
We started the Head of Class next as Matthew Turtle would battle Sergio Kontos, looking to rebound after losing his first championship (The Magic City Wrestling title) in his first defense to 'The Wildcard' Jack Spade. Turtle and Kontos had a back and forth mat based battle but in the end the deciding factor was Turtle's size, blocking a "Cretian Suplex" (Smith Special) and countering with "Turtle Power Bomb" (Blue Thunder) for the three count.
Lastly David Atwood would look to set the pace for Head of Class but he would also be going up against the head of the dojo and the man many call the greatest of all time, Corey O'Brian. The de facto champion of DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo was up for the challenge however, going blow for blow with Corey O'Brian in exchanges that brought back in mind O'Brian's famous three-match series with RYOMA. It seemed like Atwood was going to pull it off when he delivered "SALT I" (Death Valley Brainbuster) but couldn't get the pin. Atwood signaled for "SALT II" (Ushigoroshi) but Corey slipped out and took Atwood to the mat, the Master of A Million Moves showing why he has that moniker, applying a combination stretch muffler/leglock and stretching Atwood's additor lungus muscles (the inner thigh muscles that get torn when you pull your groin), a move that's effectively three submissions in one, the "Mitsuuroko", forcing Atwood to tap.
1. Frank Huxley wins the Final Exam Prelude Battle Royale last eliminating Ryan Zero -Other Eliminations: Alexandra Stava by Guy Jordan, Guy Jordan by Psycho Killer, Psycho Killer by Ryan Zero, Richard Lyon by Frank Huxley 2. Special Presentation: Gutter d. Terra in 11:36 with a Mad Splash 3. Head of Class Guest Showcase: Johnny Morbid and The Aristocrats d. Joss McKenzie, Yuuki Tsukino, and Dr Lobster's Evil Twin in 21:20 via Johnny Morbid submitting DLET with an STF 4. Head of Class Series: Matthew Turtle d. DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Wrestling Semester 2 Class 1
We begin with the Final Exam matches, advantage holder Frank Huxley pulling into an early lead over Psycho Killer with a lariat. In a rematch of one of the most hotly contested matches of Semester 1, Guy Jordan would evade the "Cat's Meow" Superkick to deck Jordan with his own lariat as he gets a good start on another successful semester. Lastly it was the freshman Ryan Zero who would get a win over Alexandra Stava, escaping her press slam to reverse it into a Schoolperson.
On the head of class things, Matthew Turtle would face the technician of The Aristocrats, surviving Buzzy Bluedog's "Leapdog" (Kotaro Crusher) and nearly getting the win with "Thicc Air' (Senton) only to quickly follow it up with a half crab for the submission. Sergio Kontos would battle the faction leader and crafty veteran, nearly getting the win with the "Cretian Suplex" (Smith Special) but Morbid got to the ropes. Morbid brought the action to the floor, hitting Sergio with "Morbid Angel's Wings" (Lifting Pedigree) on the hardwood floor, taunting Kontos by reminding him that his job isn't to win, only to make Kontos not win. Kontos recovered and seemed like he was going to beat the count but Morbid put him in a sleeper to keep him at ringside for the twenty count. Lastly David Atwood would battle Moist, dominating most of the match but Moist would manage to evade a Running Shotei, delivering a low blow to steal a win!
It's early in the Semester and anything can happen, but already some interesting developments as we look to see what the future holds for the Dojo.

DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Wrestling Semester 2 Class 3
The Final Exam part of this class begins with Frank Huxley trying to extend his lead but Ryan Zero would deny him, rolling up Huxley after escaping a butterfly suplex attempt. Alexandra Stava would try to advance against struggling Richard Lyon but Lyon was focused and finally got on the board with a schoolperson after evading a lariat. Last was Psycho Killer going up against Guy Jordan, a back and forth battle that would end with Jordan evading a Psycho Killer missile dropkick and hitting a lariat.
Head of Class matches were next and Matthew Turtle looked to take out Moist who was on a surprising roll. Turtle dominated early on but like his fellow graduates underestimated the Six-String Burnout and a missed "Thicc Air" (Cannoball Senton) let Moist use a standing moonsault for the pin. Sergio Kontos had an opportunity to close the gap and was fired up, battling the technician Buzzy Bluedog in a back and forth encounter, enduring Buzzy's "LeapDog" (Kotaro Crusher) and countering with "Cretian Suplex" (Smith Special) for the pin. Meanwhile David Atwood looked to battle Johnny Morbid and the action quickly spilled to the floor. Atwood had scouted the veteran's antics and countered the "Morbid Angel's Wings" (Lifting Pedigree) and answered with a vicious release powerbomb onto the hard wood floor to get a countout win.

DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Wrestling Semester 2 Class 4
Final Exam is starting to take shape, as Frank Huxley would use his roughneck style to overcome the power of Alexandra Stava to submit her with a half crab. This put half the field out of contention, turning Ryan Zero's bout with Guy Jordan to be an effective semi-final, Ryan putting on another impressive rookie performance before Jordan caught him with a sleeper hold for the submission. Richard Lyon and Psycho Killer effectively fought for pride and Lyon would evade a Psycho Killer flying elbow to follow up with a "Cat's Meow" superkick for the two count.
Head of Class got even tighter, as Yuuki Tsukino put away Matthew Turtle in a back and forth encounter that ended with Tsukino's "Cosmic Shock" (Rev Gory Special Bomb Pin), while Sergio Kontos struggled with Joss McKenzie for over 20 minutes before finally hitting the "Cretian Suplex" (Smith Special) to put him away. David Atwood thought he had an easy bout but the cheap tactics and stalling of Dr Lobster's Evil Twin meant he had to fight for his win, but in the end a vicious spear gave him a victory.
1. Frank Huxley d. Alexandra Stava 13:31 Half Crab 2. Guy Jordan d. Ryan Zero 16:45 Sleeper Hold 3. Richard Lyon d. Psycho Killer 12:51 "Cat's Meow" 4. Yuuki Tsukino d. Matthew Turtle 17:15 "Cosmic Shock" (Rev Gory Special Bomb Pin) 5. Sergio Kontos d. Joss McKenzie 21:37 "Cretian Suplex" 6. David Atwood d. Dr Lobster's Evil Twin 17:13 Spear
Final Exam Standings: Frank Huxley 6.5 Guy Jordan 6 Ryan Zero 4 Richard Lyon 4 Psycho Killer 2 Alexandra Stava 2
Frank Huxley: Wins with a victory or draw Guy Jordan: Wins with a victory Everyone else is mathematically eliminated by points.
Head of Class Standings Matthew Turtle 3 Sergio Kontos 2 *David Atwood's Series Score: 3

DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Semester 2 Class 5
We began with the two Final Exam matches with nothing but pride on the line as Alexandra Stava handily bested Psycho Killer after countering a crossbody with a small package pin, and Ryan Zero would catch Richard Lyon with a Legdrop Bulldog to finish his first Final Exam with an impressive six points. Frank Huxley and Guy Jordan would have a heated clash cut short when Guy Jordan was knocked out cold by a Butterfly Suplex to give the win to Frank Huxley.
Matthew Turtle would clinch a title shot in the Head of Class series, outwitting DLET and nailing him with "Down With The Thiccness" (Standing SSP) for the three count. Sergio Kontos would put on a stunning contest with Yuuki Tsukino but Tsukino hit a stunning dropkick and followed it up with the Scorpion Hold for the submission. David Atwood had trouble utilizing his power against the massive Joss McKenzie, and Atwood had to pull something deep from his arsenal, a cross body followed by a Kimura submission to secure the win!
