Quoting to bring over your show from the previous page: DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Semester 5 FinaleThe Semester 5 Finale began with a qualifying match between two DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo standouts, physical brawler Billy Gruff and former Hollywood stuntman John Carlton. It was a back and forth encounter but Gruff managed to get the win with a schoolboy pin. Next up was an Undergrad showcase six-man tag, with trainee Irwin Rayne making up the numbers teaming with Richard Lyon and Kerry Barnes against Guy Jordan, Psycho Killer, and Bryan Storm. It was a competitive bout and even Irwin Rayne showed some resilience surving a flurry of offense from the opposing team, but in the end it was Richard Lyon ending the semester on a high note, eliminating the underperforming Bryan Storm. MCW Heavyweight Champion Ripper Reno would make her entrance next in a non-title match with Xander Starr. Reno would try to test Xander's mat wrestling and found that Xander was up to the challenge. Reno switched up her tactics, adopting her brawling offense earlier than normal and focusing attacks to Xander's shoulder, meanwhile Xander was able to make a comeback but unable to capitalize. Reno went to the floor to get a chair but Xander immediately dropkicked her back out, then got to the top rope and delivered a huricanrana to the floor! Both Xander and Reno were laid out as the official made the count, Xander making it back on the count of 18 but Reno was unable to make it in herself, Xander gets the countout win! Next Ryan 0 and Frank Huxley went up against Sergio Kontos and Gal Friday in tag team competition, a back and forth duel between the four graduates, culminating in a win for Sergio Kontos pinning Frank Huxley with a Crossbody a hair under the 30 minute mark. Next was Alexandra Stava's official debut against women's legend Ruth Sampson, competiting with cracked ribs sustained at a taping of Hollywood Knights' weekly show in California. Sampson kept it to the mat but was just unable to match the unrelenting power of the World's Strongest Woman, a flapjack ribs first leading to a Deadlift German for the massive upset! No DQ match was next as newly crowned BCW World Champion Gohthoar challenged Psycho Santa. While it wasn't a deathmatch it was hard to tell at times with how vicious and bloody the match quickly got as the two battled in and out of the ring with weapons aplomb. Psycho Santa looked for "Slay Ride" (Last Ride) but Gohthoar escaped, kendo stick to the ribs before putting the stick over Santa's back, Double Stomp off the top rope onto the stick BREAKING it, then "Fertility Ritual Sacrifice" (Hammer Throw Powerbomb) for the pin. Robert Garavito would challenge Corey O'Brian next and Garavito would impress with his technical skill, having a surprisingly competitive bout with the legend. Garavito would deliver a "Core Meltdown" (Ganso Bomb), O'Brian's own signature finisher, against him but Corey would kick out. Garavito tried to grab a weapon, Irwin Rayne would grab it from him and Garavito would deck him before throwing him into the pole. Corey would be INCENSED by this, the crowd chanting "YA DONE GOOFED" at Garavito, and when Garavito got back in the ring he ate a runing Shotei, Core Meltdown followed... Garavito would kick out but Corey O'Brian would not relent, immediately deliverig the Kinniku Buster for the three count. Last but not least we had the Head of Class Title Match as Matthew Turtle looked to challenge David Atwood once again. The last time these two faced off Matthew Turtle came out on top and early on it seemed like history would repeat itself but Atwood capitalized on a missed "Thicc Air" (Diving Senton) and hit "SALT II" (Ushigoroshi) for the pin. Will David Atwood continue to dominate the Dojo in 2020? We'll find out next semester but for now, Heavy Artillery wins the day. 1. Final Exam Qualifying Match: Billy Gruff d John Carlton 14:08 via Schoolboy 2. Richard Lyon, Kerry Barnes and Irwin Rayne d. Guy Jordan, Psycho Killer, and Bryan Storm in 16:03 when Lyon throws Bryan Storm over the top rope. 3. Xander Starr d. Ripper Reno 22:58 via countout 4. Sergio Kontos and Gal Friday d Ryan 0 and Frank Huxley in 29:07 when Sergio Kontos pinned Frank Huxley via Crossbody 5. Alexandra Stava d. "Ruthless" Ruth Sampson 15:51 via Flapjack + Deadlift German 6. No DQ Match: Gohthoar d. Psycho Santa 16:19 via Double Stomp onto a kendo stick followed by "Fertility Ritual Sacrifice" (Hammer Throw Powerbomb) 7. Corey O'Brian d. Robert Garavito 14:37 via Kinniku Buster -Garavito kicked out of Core Meltdown 8. Head of Class Title Match v2: David Atwood(c) d. Matthew Turtle 15:10 via "SALT II" (Ushigoroshi) Atwood/Turtle is a great rivalry that will definitely be a big deal in the future as well. Again, Gohthoar is clearly a monster. Psycho Santa is gonna need a year off. I can definitely tell Garavito is gonna be one of your new "it" guys. Even giving him a match with Corey is a big deal, having him kick out of one Core Meltdown (after hitting one on Corey) is HUGE. Corey got the win but Garavito made a huge impression here. Why oh why anyone would even want to risk pissing off Corey after what we just saw last week is beyond me but it's clear Garavito doesn't scare easy. You are aces at building new talent 👏

DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Semester 6 Opening Show
The semester began with a showcase from Women of Mass Destruction, a tag team title match between the inaugural WMD Tag Champs The Stone Sisters against the newly crowned Double Domme Session of Kathy Queen and Bella Hemlok, made a No DQ match in the spirit of WMD's hardcore style that ended with a "Queen's Landing" (Mutasault) by Kathy Queen on Bad judy Stone. Shibuya Pro would have a showcase between two allies, the superhero Kamen Mask and the anti-hero vigilante "REBELLION" Ryuji Tenchu, ending when Tenchu hit Kamen Mask with a chokeslam lift into a knockout punch dubbed the "Iron Hand of Outlaw Justice" for the pin. The prelude battle royale to Final Exam had Guy Jordan dominant for most of the match, eliminating half the field by himself but a lariat over the top by Richard Lyon would deny him the half point.
Xander Starr would come out for the match with an unannounced former World Champion... and "Kaori Stomp" by Machinae Supremacy would play to a huge reaction as one of the few men who can claim a submission victory over Corey O'Brian, former DPW World Champion Chris DaMico would make his entrance, his first appearance outside his native Canada in two years! The two legends of the air would go head to head, Xander Starr nearly got the win with "Starry Night Driver" (Lifting Reverse DDT) followed up by "Supernova Press" (Reverse 450), but DaMico got a foot on the bottom rope. Xander looked for Starry Night Driver again but DaMico floated over and countered with a modified crucifix for the pinfall!
Six-Man action followed as Ryan 0, Matthew Turtle and Gal Friday looked to battle Sergio Kontos, Frank Huxley, and Alexandra Stava in a half-hour back and forth struggle that ended with a big finish as Frank Huxley would deliver a thunderous Avalanche Butterfly Suplex for the three count. Not to be outdone, Walking Fred, Lucero del Alba, and Dynamite Scatterbones would battle Jack Spade, Eric Ritter, and Barton Ritter in a physical match ending with Barton Ritter delivering one of his signature DDTs, this one off the top rope for an amazing finish!
Mikey Poncho, a journeyman enjoying a career revival would battle the legendary Corey O'Brian in a match that hasn't happened in nearly fifteen years. Poncho did his best to show his abilities but Corey O'Brian kept him on his toes. Poncho managed to survive "The 42" (Fish Stretch Sleeper) and "Joe Flanigan Special" (Octopus Hold into Inverted CHIKARA Special) but as he made his comeback he took time to taunt before setting up "Mist Finer" (Michinoku Driver), leaving him open for a Rolling Elbow and a "Core Meltdown" (Ganso Bomb) for a three count.
After the match, Chris DaMico came out to congratulate Corey on his win. He noted that it's been over a decade since they last met in the ring (where Chris DaMico defeated Corey O'Brian for the DPW Heavyweight title), that the number of people to have gained beaten Corey O'Brian one on one since then can be counted on one hand, that nobody has beaten Corey O'Brian in ANY shape or form twice in a row since 2006, that nobody has gained a fall over Corey since 2014 and that while DaMico isn't the only one to submit him, nobody has ever submitted Corey O'Brian twice. "I don't think I have to say where I'm going with this, all I have to say is... how's the Semester Finale sound to you?" Corey took a mic and immediately answered, "I've had it booked since your work visa was renewed, let's do this."
After an intermission (and people pre-ordering tickets to the Semester Finale), we had our main event as PGCW Openweight and LPW Heavyweight champion Alex Kelley went up against Head of Class David Atwood. Atwood's power and intensity served him well but Kelley was riding a huge wave of momentum and wasn't looking to let that slip by, series of precision kicks from the former U18 World Karate Champion followed by a Superkick for the three count.
1. WMD Tag Team Championship No DQ Match: Double Domme Session(c) d. Stone Sisters 28:48 when Kathy Queen pins Bad Judy Stone via "Queen's Landing" (Mutasault) 2. "REBELLION" Ryuji Tenchu d. Semester 6 Week 2 Results
The night began with a huge upset in Final Exam as Billy Gruff managed to catch Richard Lyon with a stunner for his first points. In Head of Class action Frank Huxley would try to meet the power of Alexandra Stava with his roughneck style but fell victim to a Deadlift German. Riding off the wave of winning the FITT earlier in the week, Matthew Turtle scored another win beating Gal Friday with a Swinging Backbreaker for the pin. However his tag partner Ryan 0 didn't fare as well, going up against a game Sergio Kontos who managed to get a pin with a Dragon Suplex.
The main event between Dynamite Scatterbones and David Atwood was a flurry of psychical action, short but... well, not sweet, but.. well, meaty? The two would fight up and down the ring nearly getting both counted out repeatedly and Dynamite using the ring wrench to bloody Atwood but in the end "SALT I" (Fireman's Carry Brainbuster) and a Shotei Lariat lead to the three count.

Richard Lyon was looking to get a win to get back on track but Kerry Barnes managed to catch him with a schoolboy to get to six points. In the Head of Class side of things, Matthew Turtle punched his ticket to the Head of Class title match defeating Alexandra Stava with multiple "Down With The Thiccness"es (Standing SSP). Ryan 0 managed to catch Frank Huxley on the back heel with his unique offense before hitting a move of Huxley's own, the High Noon Piledriver for the win. David Atwood was looking to regain some momentum against one of the biggest names in Texas wrestling, Eric Ritter. Semester 6 Week 5 Recap
Final Exam began with Guy Jordan capping off a dissapointing series pinning Billy Gruff with a Flying Elbow. Richard Lyon managed to save some pride as well, felling Psycho Killer with the Cat's Meow Superkick. In the match that decided it all Bryan Storm managed to fight the power of Kerry Barnes with technical skill, but it was a lariat that won the day for the man whose Doin' It For Woogy (cue Xander Starr laughing) Frank Huxley tried to get some points in this semester but after a prolonged bout fell to Gal Friday's "Holiday Press" (Stardust Press), while Alexandra Stava managed to best Ryan 0 with a Deadlift German to cap off her semester with eight points. However when it came down to the end, with Sergio Kontos battling Matthew Turtle in a fantastic technical bout, Turtle knocked Kontos out with "Thicc Air" (Diving Senton) to go five wins in five matches and the sole challenger for Head of Class David Atwood now knowing he will once again battle Matthew Turtle for the Head of Class title looked to gain some momentum against the veteran Jack Spade. Spade started strong but Atwood managed to get a near fall with "SALT II" (Ushigoroshi), however when he tried for "SALT I" (Fireman's Carry Brainbuster), Spade would manage to escape to the floor. The two would battle at ringside and Spade tried to use a chair but Atwood evaded and used an Enzui Shotei, going back into the ring looking for an Elbow Suicida... but Spade moved out of the way while pulling the barricade forward, Atwood hitting the steel rail and Spade getting back in the ring for a countout win. 1. DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Semester 6 Finale Show
The night began with undergrad action as Psycho Killer, Kerry Barnes, and Grease Monkey managed to topple Richard Lyon, Guy Jordan and Billy Gruff in a back and forth encounter ending with Kerry Barnes managing to throw Richard Lyon over the top rope. Lone Star Wrestling action was showcased as members of the world famous Ritter family battled the renegade Lone Wolves, falling when Logan Phobos pinned Eric Ritter with "Basophobia" (Pop-Up Last Ride).
Kathy Queen and Ruth Sampson battled newcomers Rebecca Requiem and Lumpy Martinez as a result of the Queen vs Sampson dream match ruined by Blair's Army (which Requiem and Martinez are members of); Lumpy nearly pinned Amazon-1 Grand Champion Kathy Queen with "Sugar Lump" (Darkness Falls) but Queen kicked out. Bonnie Blair would distract referee Matt Weston and Linda Parker would go for the "Prada Kick" (Running Boot) but Ruth Sampson threw Rebecca Requiem in the way and Queen would hit "Mind Flayer" (Complete Shot) on Parker. Ruth would hit the "R-Type Piledriver" (Gotch Piledriver) on Lumpy before Queen got to the top rope for "Queen's Landing" (Mutasault) for the three count.
Xander Starr would best Barton Ritter in a back and forth contest by following up a cutter with "Backslide Plus" (Bushi Roll), and Ken Archer would face Bryan Storm in Storm's debut. Storm made a huge impression, showing off his new gear (and for some reason, wearing a VR headset during his entrance) and taking the former PGCW Openweight Champion to the absolute limit, but a missed Space Rolling Elbow would lead to Archer hitting the Flying Double Stomp for the three count. Alexandra Stava and Gal Friday fell to Ryan 0 and Frank Huxley via a Ryan 0 "Newton's Cradle" (Mi Armore De Mi Novia).
Next came the rematch everyone had been waiting over a decade for as Corey O'Brian battled Chris DaMico. The last time these two met Chris DaMico won by submission, and the two would grapple in the ring showing their world class mat skills. Corey hit the "Core Meltdown" (Ganso Bomb) twice, but DaMico kicked out and answered almost immediately with "La Rosa Del Entiero" (Mexican Stretch), the same hold that he beat Corey with, but Corey managed to get to the ropes with his free leg. DaMico kept it up, series of lucha-inspired pinning combinations but Corey kicked out of them all. Another La Rosa Del Entiero attempt was made but Corey reversed the arm grip flipping it into a Kimura, DaMico only escaping with repeated knees to the head. The battle went to the floor and DaMico hit a thunderous superkick, rolling Corey back in and going for a springboard moonsault but only getting two. Corey went for "Honnouji" (Napalm Death) but DaMico rolled out, looking again for La Roa Del Entiero... but as soon as he went behind Corey's back he ate a flawlessly timed back elbow, Corey with the standing switch... Saka-Otoshi, and "The 42" (Fish Stretch Sleeper) center of the ring and Chris DaMico had no choice but to tap out. The entire arena gave a standing ovation, as did the locker room, Xander Starr even throwing roses like it was an opera (how he GOT those roses, nobody could quite explain).
Lastly it was the Head of Class title match, however this was not as competitive as it seemed on paper, David Atwood's arm seemed to be still hurting from the missed suicida in his match with Jack Spade. Matthew Turtle has been on fire this semester and was in control for most of this match. Atwood tried to come back with a powerbomb and the Shotei Lariat, but only got a two count, and another Shotei Lariat attempt was caught into a Samoan Drop, followed up with "Down With The Thiccness" (Standing SSP) for the pin.
1. Psycho Killer, Kerry Barnes, and Grease Monkey d. Richard Lyon, Guy Jordan, and Billy Gruff in 17:54 when Barnes threw Lyon over the top rope 2. The Lone Wolves d. DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Semester 7 Opener
We kicked things off with the traditional battle royale for half a point towards Final Exam, Kerry Barnes getting off to a big start by eliminating Guy Jordan, but Richard Lyon was looking to repeat his win last semester, eliminating Psycho Killer and Barnes in quick sucession. Lyon tried to make Billy Gruff his third elimination but Gruff managed to dump him over, only for the newcomer Grease Monkey to immediately send him over the ropes for the win!
Next up were DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo alumni Ken Archer and Terra going up against journeyman duo Those Two Guys in a back and forth encounter that ended when Terra pinned Joss McKenzie with the "Groundbreaker" (PK). Two stars of Lucha Libre collided as Chris DaMico survived the power of Lucero Del Alba and caught him in a prawn hold for the pin. In the special guest match, Michael Ferrum, Isaac LaCroix, and Linda Parker defeated Arctic Knight, Eric Ritter, and Bianca Espada when Ferrum caught Arctic Knight with THE CLAW for the submission.
Next up was a match between rookie upstart Greyhawk against co-head trainer Xander Starr. Greyhawk made a hell of a first impression with his fantasy-inspired attire, and fans started singing along to his theme song (a heavy metal cover of "Toss A Coin To Your Witcher"), and even sang the refrain during the match... even Xander got into it at times! Xander gave Greyhawk a tough go with his experience and agility, but Greyhawk hit the "Gazebo Driver" (Sunset Flip Bomb) for a near fall and followed up with a rip-cord lariat dubbed "Great Cleave" for the three count!
Next up was a Head of Class Tournament prelude match as David Atwood, Frank Huxley and Alexandra Stava went up against Sergio Kontos, Bryan Storm and Gal Friday in a back and forth challenge ending when Stava caught Bryan Storm with her Deadlift German for the three count.
Next was a match involving Hollywood Knights owner Jeremy Filth's protege, the blue chipper Victor Louis Halberd going up against Corey O'Brian. Halberd showcased a dynamic high-impact style while Corey would control the pace with his ground game and precision strikes. Corey managed to hit the Kinniku Buster and "Core Meltdown" (Core Meltdown) but Halberd kicked out of both, and an attempt at "Honnouji" (Napalm Death) would be stopped when Halberd managed to grab the ropes before the hold was fully applied. VLH brought the fight to the floor, throwing Corey into the rails and then hitting a Knee Trembler. He rolled the legend back into the ring and hit his signature move "The Sudden Stop At The End" (Spinning Tombstone) but Corey kicked out. VLH tried a Knee Trembler in the corner and a follow up to the back of Corey's head, but still only got a two count. The man known as the Warrior King wouldn't let up, "Scourge of The Gods" (Reverse DDT Michinoku) but Corey managed to get a rope break by putting his foot under the rope. Halberd argued with referee Matt Weston as Corey climbed to his feet in the corner. Halberd tried another Knee Trembler but Corey evaded, Halberd's shin hitting the turnbuckle, and Corey would seize the opening, using an Arm Trap Crossface to force a submission! A valiant effort by Victor Louis Halberd who may have pulled off the upset of the century if not for losing focus.
Lastly the main event, new Head of Class Matthew Turtle and his partner Ryan 0, Team Rib Rolls, fighting Plane Shift in a rematch of the Florida Invitational Tag Tournament finals. It was a high-speed back and forth contest, but when Plane Shift looked to put away Ryan 0, Murder Dragon using an Ushigoroshi to set up a Spider Jack "Daddy Long Legs" (Diving Leg Drop), Ryan managed to roll out of the way, hitting Spider Jack with "Divide By 0" (Storm Breaker) for the KO! Team Rib Rolls once again defeats one of Florida's premier tag teams, a great start to a semester of tag action for Turtle and 0!

Update: At the request of the Florida State Athletic Commission and the City of Ft Lauderdale, DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo is suspending Semester 7 due to Covid-19. During the hiatus Corey O'Brian is weighing options for the eventual re-launch, including possibly discarding the tournament-based format.
Corey O'Brian will be having privately streamed workout sessions with his students and will continue his obligations with UBL.
To date no member of the DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo family has reported any Covid-19 related symptoms, this is a purely precautionary measure.

Arthur Wingate: "As one of the feds not (currently) integrating COVID into storylines, we acknowledge there's a good* chance that once again one of our league participants will be launched to the moon and enjoy de facto social distancing." (*Good chance being a 90% higher than average chance in the e-fed community )To date no member of the DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo family has reported any Covid-19 related symptoms, this is a purely precautionary measure.
That is good to hear! 👍 More importantly, I hope that you are doing well 😃
