DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo crowns new champions: The Varsity Tag Team Titles The Varsity Tag Titles have been awarded to Ryan 0 and Matthew Turtle, collectively Team Rib Rolls, due to their efforts as a tag team outside of DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo. The Varsity Tag Titles can be challenged by any duo consisting of at least one DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo graduate, including alumni, however to qualify for a challenge a team must first defeat the reigning champions in a non-title match. Rankings determine who gets opportunities at a title in preferential order. Loser of a Head of Class match automatically ranks at the bottom. Contender Rankings: 1. Richard Lyon 2. Gal Friday 3. The Undergrads Billy Gruff and Kellie Shark battled for graduation and despite a strong showing from Gruff, Kellie caught him in a small package.
Guy Jordan looked to get a win over Sergio Kontos, finding weapons (later discovered to be planted by Robert Garavito) to try to gain an advantage, but Kontos controversially grabbed a Kendo Stick to defend himself and clocked Jordan with it en route to winning with the "OPA! Lock" (Omoplata Crossface). During the match Xander Starr would leave the commentary station as he spotted "a hooded dude in the back row" (the show being supposed to be no-audience). Xander would later report that the hooded figure sprayed him with Coke Zero before running off.
In a physical bout Frank Huxley pinned Alexandra Stava with a diving lariat, and Robert Garavito (despite missing his plunder) would beat Jim Rival in an excellent bout to become PGCW's #1 contender. Psycho Killer and his guest partner Ben "Loco" Davis would earn a title match after beating Team Rib Rolls when Killer hit "Cycle of Violence" (Modified Orange Crush).
A dried off Xander Starr would face off against Grease Monkey in the graduate's official pro debut, "The Mechanic" pushing Xander to his limit before being caught in the "Maximum Spider" (Momoe Clutch). Xander would later note he was very impressed, stating "he wrestled like a fifteen-year vet". In a fast-paced bout, Bryan Storm would unseat Gal Friday in a back and forth encounter with "Storm Wall" (Rhydeem Bomb)
In the main event, Richard Lyon went up against the juggernaut Head of Class known as David Atwood. Despite Atwood controlling the match and nearly getting the win with two Shotei Lariats, Richard Lyon would endure. It took a Dragon Suplex, a "Hear Me Roar!" (Italian Revolution), a flying elbow AND "Cat's Meow" (Superkick) but Richard finally fell Heavy Artillery to become only the third DRAGONSUPLEX graduate to be named Head of Class.

Results:
Graduation was on the line and despite being close to crossing that threshold Billy Gruff would fall to Kerry Barnes thanks to a beauty of a flying elbow. Guy Jordan managed to find some plunder to gain an advantage over the powerful David Atwood, managing to defeat him with a backdrop suplex. He looked over to where a hooded figure was lurking in the empty stands (who managed again to evade security). Amazon-1 Tag Team Champions For Club and Country managed once again to defend their titles thanks to a mental error by Bella Hemlok, who tried to put in the "Shibari Clutch" too close to the ropes, allowing Holly Houghton to take advantage after the break to catch her in "Stoppage Time". #1 contender Bryan Storm kept his winning ways over a very game Alexandra Stava with the "Thunderbolt", and we saw new Varsity Tag Team Champions as Psycho Killer and Ben "Loco" Davis managed to upend Team Rib Rolls thanks to an arm triangle submission. Kellie Shark made her debut against Xander Starr, showing resilience of kicking out of the "Supernova Press" only to fall to "Higgs Boson Senton". In a marathon three way dance Sergio Kontos would manage to score falls over both Grease Monkey and Gal Friday. Lastly, Richard Lyon looked to defend the Head of Class title over Frank Huxley, but The Roughneck used multiple Roughneck Lariats and a Spear to take the Head of Class title.

Guy Jordan has acknowledged that the man in a hoodie spotted watching his matches is "his mentor" and in his bid for the Varsity Tag he'll have his mentor as his tag team partner. While he didn't name who his mentor is, we can rule out who it isn't: Corey O'Brian is in New York City, Xander Starr, Chris DaMico, and Ben "Loco" Davis have all been on commentary

We began with the traditional graduation match as Billy Gruff finally won graduation over Mike Marino with a flying elbow. Atwood and Lyon managed to advance in the rankings at the expense of Alexandra Stava and Kellie Shark when David Atwood submitted the younger Kellie Shark. Ryan 0 managed to unseat the top ranked Bryan Storm with the Newton's Cradle, and despite being carved open like a Thanksgiving turkey by Florida Man, Freddy Newman captured the Magic City Wrestling championship via "Yiff U".
Guy Jordan revealed his mentor (and thus the figure watching his matches from the empty stands) to be none other than the Pariah, Steven O'Brian, the two defeating Varsity Tag champs Psycho Killer and Ben "Loco" Davis thanks to an Air Jordan cracking the veteran Davis' ribs. Davis had kicked out but started coughing up blood and Matt Weston called for the stoppage to get him checked out. Kerry Barnes made a strong statement in his debut, nearly besting Xander Starr with a thunderous spear but falling victim to the Backslide Plus. Gal Friday settled the score with Grease Monkey, using her Red Letter Day submission to soften Grease Monkey up for a Pay Day Kick and a pin.
The night ended in controversy, Sergio Kontos and Frank Huxley battling for the Head of Class honors. Kontos focused his attention and Huxley's arm to neutralize the Roughneck's offense but Huxley nearly decapitated the challenger with a Roughneck Lariat. The two ended up on the floor and Kontos incapacitated Huxley with a Dragon Suplex before making it back into the ring, winning via countout. And with no champion's advantage in this dojo, that makes Sergio Kontos the new Head of Class.

Couple minor issues, had internet hiccups and forgot to turn off audience.
DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Volume 5 DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo kicked off 2021 with a bang. Despite the monster Bruce Grenville dominating most of the graduation match it was the technically sound irwin Rayne who would get the big win via rollup. Alexandra Stava would overpower Kellie Shark with a press slam into Deadlift German combo. The Women of Mass Destruction titles would change hands as For Club and Country managed a win over Blair's Army, a possible sign of things to come for the now double champs as they are set to defend the A-1 titles next week. Richard Lyon and Kerry Barnes had a fantastic back and forth contest but Lyon managed the win with the Dragon Suplex, and Bryan Storm rebounded from his loss to Ryan 0 by besting David Atwood with the Thunderbolt. Billy Gruff made his pro debut with a bang nearly besting Xander Starr and even being in control for most of the match, but the co-trainer rallied back and hit the Supernova Press for the three count. For the Varsity Tag titles Steven O'Brian and his protege Guy Jordan went to war with Psycho Killer and veteran Ben "Loco" Davis in a marathon back and forth battle, but in the end it was Psycho Killer who avenged his teams qualifier loss thanks to an arm trianlge. Steven O'Brian refused to leave the ring, trying to goad Xander Starr into fighting him, but instead Grease Monkey came out. Grease Monkey was originally left off the show due to an elbow injury but had been cleared the night before. Steven O'Brian seemed to think he'd have no problem taking out Grease Monkey but found himself on the back heel throughout, and after being wiped out on the floor decided to leave the arena for a countout loss. Lastly there was the three-way dance for the DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Head of Class title as Sergio Kontos looked to defend against Gal Friday and Frank Huxley. Huxley had been counted out at Volume 4 which would normally put him in the back of the line but Kontos and Friday requested Huxley be allowed another chance due to the situation. This proved to be bad news for Gal Friday as Huxley submitted her with the choke sleeper. Huxley then hit her with a spinebuster, this would later be explained as Huxley not hearing referee Matt Weston call for the submission. Huxley and Kontos picked off where their last battle came off and Huxley almost regained the title with his High Noon Piledriver but Kontos kicked out, and after a battle on the floor, Kontos would get the win with the Dragon Suplex to retain the Head of Class title. 1. DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Vol 6
The night began with the graduation match as despite a strong start the massive Bruce Grenville was caught by a quick-thinking Lucy Morgenstern getting a pin out of nowhere with a snapmare of all things. Gal Friday would score an upset win over the legendary Ruth Sampson with a Blue Moon Suplex, and David Atwood would get knocked out cold from a Piledriver by Frank Huxley.
In tag team action, Kerry Barnes and Richard Lyon would knock off Kellie Shark and Alexandra Stava after Barnes pinned the massive Stava with a spear. In an amazing match Guy Jordan would resort to a low blow to set Billy Gruff up for the Armbar of Corruption for a submission. Irwin Rayne showed some incredible mat wrestling skills in his debut against Xander Starr but the co-head trainer would show off his own submission skills with the "Look Ma, No Hands!".
In the qualifier for the Varsity Tag Team, Psycho Killer and Ben "Loco" Davis went up against mutual rivals Bryan Storm and Scott Saphyre. While Psycho Killer and Bryan Storm, who still have a score to settle against each other, only brushed relatively briefly in the ring, Psycho Killer would get the submission win over Scott Saphyre after over forty minutes in the ring with an arm triangle.
Lastly Grease Monkey battled against Head of Class Sergio Kontos in a technical clinic, the two trading submissions and throws all over the ring and briefly out of it as Kontos nearly got counted out, but in the end Sergio Kontos would manage to hold on to the championship with a textbook huricanrana!

DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Volume 7
We began with the Graduation Match with Bruce Grenville finally earning graduation by defeating Jerome Albus with a Dragon Suplex. Afterwards, the words "BECOME YOUR TRUE SELF" appeared on the match graphic screen and Grenville clutched his head and seemed to go into a rage delivering a series of elbow drops. Xander Starr went to confront him but the lights went out and when they came back on, Grenville was gone, and the match graphic screen now read "GRENVILLE LIVES".
Guy Jordan managed to avenge his mentor by defeating Grease Monkey with Air Jordan in a fantastic bout. Gal Friday managed to win a three-way dance over David Atwood and Alexandra Stava with the help of her Holiday Press, and Frank Huxley managed to pin a very game Kellie Shark with the High Noon Piledriver.
Lucy Morgenstern would show some deadly kicking ability against Xander Starr but the Human Superball beat her with experience thanks to the Backslide Plus. In tag team action Irwin Rayne and Bryan Storm would best Billy Gruff and Richard Lyon with Rayne managing to pin Gruff with the Dragon Suplex. In a special Varsity Tag qualifier we had a great brawl between Kerry Barnes and Ben "Loco" Davis ended with the Six Feet Under felling the ring veteran.
The contest between Head of Class Sergio Kontos and top contender Psycho KIller would go back and forth, Psycho Killer losing his cool at one point and making Sergio Kontos bleed after bringing a sledgehammer into the mix, but Kontos refused to let the match end in DQ. Kontos tried to use his OPA! Lock repeatedly to submit Psycho Killer but just couldn't get the tap out, and eventually resorted to a picture perfect Cretian Suplex for the pin.
After the cameras stopped rolling, Xander Starr was in the back talking to Corey O'Brian on his phone about what happened with Grenville, when William King appeared, wearing only a towel. After King explained he came here as soon as he heard about what happened (Xander: "You could have put pants on first at least!") King directed Xander to the green room to explain what he knows about what happened.

DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Volume 8
The night began with the graduation match as Antonio Smooth managed to get a win over former stuntman John Carlton with a backbreaker. In three-way action Alexandra Stava showed why she is the World's Strongest Woman with a Bicep Suplex on Grease Monkey. In tag action Lucy Morgenstern and Billy Gruff defeated the more experienced Kellie Shark and Gal Friday when Gruff delievered his brutal Instant-Death Billy Club to Gal Friday.
Frank Huxley and Richard Lyon had a back and forth thriller but in the end it was the former Head of Class getting the win with his High Noon Piledriver, but the tough act to follow was followed by a technical masterclass between Bryan Storm and Irwin Rayne- considered one of the best bouts in DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo History ending with Bryan Storm dropping the thunder with a Thunderbolt. The Varsity Tag Titles were defended in an epic confrontation as Ben "Loco" Davis and Psycho Killer bested Kerry Barnes and October Raven when Loco submitted the hardcore legend with a Reverse Loco Lock.
Grenville made his debut against Xander Starr and it was unlike any debut we'd ever seen, Grenville throwing Starr around like a ragdoll and enduring the best offense the Human Superball could manage. In the end it was a series of suplexes on the floor that would lead to a countout but Grenville wasn't done, delivering a tope atomico on Starr! The cameras had cut away to an advert for PGCW's next event but Grenville then followed up with a barbaric elevated powerbomb OVER the barricade, and Xander Starr had to be carried out on a stretcher.
Lastly it was head of class time as Guy Jordan looked to take the title from Sergio Kontos who was on a big roll as of late. However Guy Jordan came in with a gameplan, shutting down Sergio's offense and despite almost seeming to overcommit to his "Jordan River Crossing" submission managed to finally apply it perfectly in the middle of the ring for the submission win.
