DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Vol 17
After a pre-show bout where the Goblin Scarecrow of Bone Collection Wrestling easily bested Tommy Knock, the night began with Grease Monkey and Billy Grugg besting the struggling Bryan Storm and Richard Lyon. In an intense bout, Frank Huxley and Sergio Kontos managed to upset Jerome Albus and Psycho Killer thanks to a Dragon Suplex on Albus by Kontos. In a thrilling technical duel, Antonio Smooth and Irwin Rayne went hold for hold but a dropkick by Smooth lead to a jackknife pin to score the fall. A brawler vs technician match was next as technician Jim Fresno bested the brawler Kerry Barnes thanks to his Dragon Brainbuster. In a fast paced high flying encounter Mike Marino would survive two 450 Splashes by John Carlton only to fall victim to the Shadow Kick. Gal Friday teamed up with Lucy Morgenstern to earn a shot at the Varsity Tag Team titles but the champs Alexandra Stava and Big Jen Stone continued to be a brick wall to opposition, their teamwork giving them a win thanks to the Oakland Crab. Next was a Lumberjack Match between Jerry Krait and Corey O'Brian, a rematch of the shocking upset last month. Despite the rules made to ensure Krait wouldn't use the barbedwire bat Krait had snuck a fork into his gear and cut up the legend's forehead with it, but Corey would make him pay with a ring-shaking Kinniku Buster for the three count. Finally it was the defense of the Head of Class title and despite seemingly being outclassed in every metric Kellie Shark refused to back down to the juggernaut known as Grenville, bringing the fight back to him every time and nearly getting a countout win at one point. Unfortunately despite the fight of her career and surviving the infamous Mafia Kick of the Neo Beast, Grenville caught her with her own Sharknado knee, and there was just no getting up from it. Grenville remains a double champion and looks over the man who may be facing him on his chance to become a triple, co-head trainer Xander Starr, with an evil smile to end the night. 0. DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Volume 18
After a warmup match where Brian Saint easily knocked off Tommy Knock, we started with a changed schedule as Billy Gruff suffered an accidental fall while doing some warm-up stair jumps; while the trainer was confirming he was able to compete Grease Monkey and Frank Huxley would take his scheduled place knocking off Kellie Shark and Bryan Storm after a Roughneck Lariat from Huxley to Shark. Gruff was cleared and teamed with Richard Lyon but would fall to Lucy Morgenstern and Jerome Albus with Morgenstern pinning Gruff with her "Seventh Seal" Legsweep Bomb. In a three way dance Sergio Kontos would pin Psycho Killer via the Cretian Suplex only to follow to a Dragon Suplex by Irwin Rayne. Gal Friday would try to climb the ladder but Kerry Barnes would put her Six Feet Under in a back and forth battle. Mike Marino and Jim Fresno would have an incredible technical duel but it would be Fresno geting the win with the Dragon Brainbuster. Varisty Tag Champions would deny another would-be challenging duo as Alexandra Stava and Big Jen Stone knocked off Antonio Smooth and LA Heat when Stava submitted Smooth with her Crucifix Rack. Unsigned talent The Viscount would go nearly 40 minutes with Corey O'Brian with O'Brian struggling to deliver a killer move until the very end, hitting the Death Note to get a pinfall victory. Finally it was down to the Head of Class title match and John Carlton showed no fear to Grenville, managing to put the monster in the back heel at times, including nearly getting the pinfall with the Shadow Kick... only for Grenville to answer with a Shadow Kick of his own for the three count for Grenville to once again stand tall. 0. DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Vol 19
After a preshow battle where Sam S McCloud and Mitchell Williams handily dispatched Tommy Knock and Willy Jakes, we started with the team of John Carlton and Kellie Shark battling Bryan Storm and Billy Gruff with Gruff managing to score a pin over Shark with a Frog Splash. Richard Lyon and Jeroma Albus would duel with Lucy Morgenstern and Psycho Killer with Lyons pinning the Devil's Daughter with a Flying Elbow. Meanwhille in three-way action Frank Huxley would floor Grease Monkey with a "Roughneck Lariat" only to get caught with a Sergio Kontos diving knee drop followed by the "Minotaur Clutch" (Delfin Clutch). Moving on to the singles matches, Irwin Rayne would beat Gal Friday not on the mat but in the air with a picture perfect cross body; while in a technical duel Antonio Smooth would survive the "Rick Allen Lock" (Wakigatame) of Mike Marino only to catch him with an STF for the submission. Kerry Barnes and October Raven would look to qualify for a shot at the Varsity Tag titles but champions Alexandra Stava and Big Jen Stone would deny them in a hard hitting battle when Big Jen hit a flying elbow and Stava followed up with a splash for the win. Meanwhile GAMEOVER would impress against the legendary Corey O'Brian but despite getting a near fall with the "Kill Screen" (Brainbuster), GAMEOVER would fall to the devastating "Death Note" (Backdrop Chokebreaker). Finally it was Head of Class action as Jim Fresno looked to unseat the unbeaten juggernaut Grenville who was determined to become a triple champion by the end of April. Fresno came in with a gameplan, keeping the match on the mat as much as possible and focusing on the arms of the Neo Beast, but after failing to get the win with his brainbuster, he would learn that Grenville was adept at the move the hard way falling to a brainbuster of Grenville's own for the three count. 0. DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Vol 20: Cram Session After Ben "Loco" Davis wrestled circles around Tommy Knock, the night would begin with the first Cram Session Round; the team of Psycho Killer, Richard Lyon, Kerry Barnes, and Irwin Rayne would advance after Lyon hit a picture perfect Hear Me Roar! on Kelly Shark; then in the second match Billy Gruff, Gal Friday, Jerome Albus and Mike Marino would go forward thanks to a textbook Dragon Suplex from Marino to Grease Monkey. Jim Fresno would try to qualify for the Varsity Tag Team Titles in a special qualifier against Big Jen Stone and would put on a star-making attempt, even putting a page out of Big Jen's playbook and suplexing her out of the ring, but despite seemingly getting the win with his famous brainbuster he would fall to the choke sleeper of Big Jen. The Cram Session would continue, with Irwin Rayne choking out all THREE of his opponents with his Dragon Sleeper while Jerome Albus would outlast Billy Gruff thanks to Buried At A Crossroads. Jake Wilde would give Corey O'Brian a fight of legends that the Ronin Will not soon forget, two top rope powerbombs from Wilde but Corey kicked out of each before putting away Maximum Metal with the Core Meltdown. Meanwhile in the finals of the Cram Session Jerome Albus seemed to be destined to win, delivering Buried At A Crossroads twice as well as the Shadow Reversal, but Irwin Rayne managed to catch the vampire with a Dragon Suplex for the three count. Finally in Head of Class action and it seemed as if Grenville had lost some confidence going up against Alexandra Stava who had him on the back heel for most of the match. But eventually Stava seemed to run out of gas in the match and Grenville took advantage, delivering a sadistic Mafia Kick for the three count, seeming no worse for wear as if he was just waiting for an opening. Grenville may still yet be undefeated but Xander Starr has proved he can be beaten, but who will be able to do it?

DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Vol 21
After a dark match where the Arch Rivals scored a rout over Tommy Knock and Willy Jakes, Xander Starr would come out and announce that due to Grenville's broken nose, the title match between Rayne and Grenville is postponed and that Irwin Rayne would instead wrestle his mentor Corey O'Brian!
The show proper started with Kellie Shark and John Carlton knocking off Bryan Storm and Lucy Morgenstern after a sudden DDT by Shark to Morgenstern. Psycho Killer and Billy Gruff would best Grease Monkey and Richard Lyon in a protracted battle that ended after a Billy Gruff Frog Splash by Richard Lyon, and Frank Huxley showed signs of his older dominance flooring Gal Friday with a Roughneck Lariat.
In a hard fought battle Jerome Albus busted Mike Marino thanks to his deadly "Buried At A Crossroads" (Modified Flowsion), and Kerry Barnes would dominate over Sergio Kontos hitting a "Ride The Lightning" (Electric Chair), and when Kontos kicked out immediately hit a SECOND one for the pinfall. The Varsity Tag Qualifier match with Antonio Smooth and Jim Fresno looking to qualify against champions Alexandra Stava and Big Jen Stone ended in controversy; Fresno KOed Stava (who was later sent to Baptist Health Hospital for concussion screening) but Big Jen Stone was able to catch him in a rear naked choke for the submission. Despite the win, though, Stone refused to break the hold, even gouging Fresno's eyes after he passed out in the hold.
Now it was time for our dual main event as Xander Starr looked to recapture the MCW Heavyweight Championship against the newly minted champ Kathy Queen; Queen caught Xander with "Mind Flayer" (Complete Shot) for a nearfall. The Human Superball answered with "Maximum Spider" (Momoe Clutch) and the "Starry Night Driver" (Lifting Reverse DDT) for nearfalls but a second Mind Flayer was enough for Kathy Queen to retain her title and gain the biggest win of her career to date.
Meanwhile it was student vs teacher, young lion vs legend as Irwin Rayne went up against Corey O'Brian, the two going hold for hold on the mat and it seemed like Irwin Rayne would get the win catching Corey in his favorite hold the Dragon Sleeper twice, the second time from a Camel Clutch-style position but Corey managed to escape both times. In the end it was the veteran who got the win with the "Joe Flanigan Special" (Arm & Leg Trap Grounded Octopus Hold) dead center in the ring for the submission. A standing ovation was given for Rayne's efforts and even in defeat he looked like just the man to knock Grenville off the Head of Class throne.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:Due to concussion protocols, Alexandra Stava is under medical suspension. She is expected to be returning in August. However due to Big Jen Stone's repeated and flagarant disregard for the rules and culture of sportsmanship in DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo, with the consent of Stava we have stripped her and Stone of the Varsity Tag Team Championship. Smooth and Fresno will therefore face off against the next challenger in line, Kerry Barnes, and his chosen tag partner to decide the new champions. DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo 22
In the pre-show we had a Graduation Match pitting two second-generation trainees: Morgan Andrews (son of the great journeyman Hurricane Andrews) and Body Count IV (son of the original Body Count, a heavyweight behemoth who was a household name in the 00s) where Body Count would pin Andrews with a Lariat (reminiscint of Corey O'Brian's brief time as the second Body Count). Lucy Morgenstern and Bryan Storm would get a much-needed win over John Carlton and Richard Lyon, while Kellie Shark would pin both Grease Monkey and Psycho Killer in three-way action.
Gal Friday would best Billy Gruff with a Dragon Suplex. Meanwhile in a last-minute change of cards stemming from an altercation between Mike Marino and The Bloodline in LA-based Hollywood Knights, Jerome Albus would pin Marino with "Buried At A Crossroads" (Modified Flowsion), meanwhile Frank Huxley would pin Sergio Kontos with the Roughneck Lariat.
Meanwhile the Varsity Tag Team Title vacancy would be resolved as Antonio Smooth and Jim Fresno would try to once again go for the championship but would be foiled by Kerry Barnes and Jake Wilde in a thrilling battle where Wilde would pin Fresno with a powerbomb. The two would be awarded a single belt as Big Jen Stone hadn't returned the belt she held... but then Big Jen (with said belt) and Bad Judy emerged from the back and assaulted all four men!
The Stone Sisters laid waste and tried to hold the Varsity Tag Title Belts hostage until Corey O'Brian came out to parlay. A deal was struck: The Stone Sisters would get a shot at them, but if they won would have to defend them every show, and on top of that their WMD Tag Titles would be defended by Alexandra Stava and a partner of her choosing.
After an intermission Team Crawling Chaos would battle the Florida Dream Team in a thrilling thirty minute plus battle; at one point Kathy Queen caught Corey O'Brian with the "Mind Flayer" (Complete Shot) and Xander Starr had to sprint THREE QUARTERS ACROSS THE RING to make the save; William King tried to choke out the legend with "Cthulhu Clutch" (Crossface Sleeper With Body Triangle) but Corey endured and answered with "Death Note" (Backdrop Chokebreaker) for the three count. Meanwhile Irwin Rayne looked to unseat Grenville as Head of Class. Rayne had a gameplan and looked to be in complete control until Grenville hit the "Godslayer Bomb" (Last Ride) on the floor and followed up with an Atomic Whip into the barricade. Somehow Rayne beat the 20 count and even nearly caught Grenville with a rollup but instead was taken out by the Mafia Kick of Grenville as the double champion remained such.

After a pre-show match featuring MIDORIJIMA kicking off his US excursion, we had trios action where Alexandra Stava, John Carlton and Bryan Storm took out Irwin Rayne, Jim Fresno, and Richard Lyon with Storm getting the win with Thunderbolt. The rough and tumble duo of Grease Monkey and Billy Gruff would best Psycho Killer nad Lucy Morgenstern when Gruff caught Psycho Killer with the Billy Club, and Kelly Shark would climb further up the ranks at the expense of Mike Marino thanks to the Flipper Killer. In a thrilling mat duel Sergio Kontos caught Antonio Smooth with a Dragon Suplex to get closer to another Head of Class title match, while Frank Huxley would throw everything he had at Gal Friday only to get caught with the Holiday Press. Body Count IV, the son of the original, would face the second man to wear the mask Corey O'Brian who despite Body Count delivering some punishing offense would answer with the Core Meltdown to get the fall. The Stone Sisters looked to leverage their attempt to hold the Varsity Tag titles hostage, bringing kendo sticks to their match against champions Jake Wilde and Kerry Barnes in a wild and chaotic brawl, but in the end Kerry Barnes lifted the heavyweight Big Jen Stone into a Kinniku Buster to defend the titles and leave the Sisters wanting. Meanwhile Jerome Albus who had been on a white hot streak looked to be the one to wrest the title from the iron grip of Grenville, but the juggernaut would not be denied, delivering a sadistic lariat to set up Albus' own "Buried At A Crossroads" spiking Jerome headfirst to retain. 0.
