How have I been oblivious to all this as I've been playing Fire Pro for 10 years. I don’t know, but I envy you for discovering that amazing body of work now. I can’t imagine having all of that to see for the very first time. Enjoy, you are in for some amazing matches, and since you’ve been away from wrestling for so long, you won’t even be wondering where all of the flips are! 😉 Enjoy you lucky sumbich! 🙂

Speaking of wrestlers we only know from video games, can someone recommend a match or clip where Gran Naniwa does that crab elbow move of his? Been wondering how that looked in real life for a while.

That took me a while to find, it’s hilarious. Can’t remember if I saw it in michinoku pro or Osaka pro. Here’s a rando match clip Liger taking it!

Great, thanks. :) Kinda looks like he's doing it to one of the Briscoes in that first clip.

Former professional wrestler Shad Gaspard has disappeared after being caught in a sudden current while he was swimming at the newly re-opened Venice Beach. He reportedly eschewed assistance from lifeguards to make sure that they prioritized his 10 year old son, who they escorted to safety before Shad was overtaken.

Wow. I hope he'll be ok but that's not good.

Read that the Coast Guard called off their search for him. A really sad outcome and an incredibly selfless act to save his child before his disappeared.

In related news, when are those fucking meteors coming to extinct us all? I downloaded the Stardom DLC a while back because I was reaching a stage where Workshop downloads were not compatible without it. I hadn't watched Stardom before but instantly gravitated to Hana because of the pink hair and rainbow coloured tassels on her boots. From there I checked out some of her matches on YouTube, so I basically became a fan of hers off the back of seeing her in FirePro. That was also how I first became exposed to Hayabusa with SFPXW. I was really sad to learn about her death, she had a great future ahead of her at 22 and the circumstances that led to her suicide were gut wrenching. I'm a little bit annoyed that Spike never tweeted any kind of tribute seeing that she was a licensed part of the game.

Just going through all of the stories and accounts brought about by the #SpeakingOut trend on Twitter has really dug up some really appalling shit on some of the people in the wrestling business.
While I'm withholding judgment on any particular promotion or wrestler, I think it goes without saying that predatory and derogatory behavior like this is extremely unacceptable and shouldn't be part of modern day society. I hope justice is served correctly for all those affected.

All these industries have a systemic issue that allowed all of this to run rampant and need big changes to address it.
