I have a feeling KENTA will be in NJPW full time after the G1 since NOAH has moved on with their fresh crop of talent.

Did anybody watch Dominion? Kota Ibushi vs. Tetsuya Naito was one of the most intense NJPW matches I've ever seen with one of the most brutal botches.

It was a great match, but scary and difficult to enjoy. Dominion was a great show. More low key than the last few years, which were all headlined by epic battles, but a lot of fun with some cool surprises.

I'm super behind and still watching the New Japan Cup but man Moxley vs. Ishii should be a hell of a thing.

So KENTA is in the Bullet Club now. I didn't expect him to stick with NJPW but it looks like he will.

Going back through and re-watching some matches from G1 Climax 29. Some great matches - candidates for "match of the year." Loving Takagi and Sanada.

Takagi and SANADA were in different blocks - just realised what you meant. Takagi v Naito and SANADA v Okada were both amongst the best matches in the tournament. Anybody here going to Royal Quest?

So NJPW formally announced an American subsidiary this morning. www.njpw1972.com/63157I feel like this might be poor timing on their part. AEW is hot as hell right now, and NJPW's US gates haven't been great since the Elite left. For me, I'll be happy to have more chances to see NJPW live, but I can't shake the feeling this won't work out well for them financially.

Why not just side car with / swap talent with AEW or NWA like they used to with WCW? I love NJPW, but yeah, doesn’t seem like the best timing, especially with such a relatively small roster. Or maybe it’s a good thing since wrestling is picking up steam and fans are hungry for anything they can get right now. I hope they do well on this endeavour.

Oh you know they'll be working with AEW at some point given the relationship The Elite had with them in the past. As for NJPW of America, I think they'll be fine once they get their own core roster established. It's a sure bet that a lot of the good ROH workers will be picked up once their contracts expire.

Poor ROH, held it down for so long, now it’s looking like it will be a ghost town pretty soon. Good for the workers and the fans, but yeah, that promotion though. Didn’t Sinclair just pump a pile of cash into ROH a short while ago, too?

Yeah unfortunately every promotion has their time and roh time has been passed for awhile and they have really dropped the ball a bunch lately. I actually got rid of them as a promotion in my fire pro world awhile back because I didn't want to spend anytime keeping up with them. Impact actually seems to be the ones rising from the ashes.
