Obligatory first-timer drive-by hot-take post: This game needs a Switch port pretty bad. PS4 (& console gaming in general) aren't exactly as hugely popular in Japan as in western countries. On the other hand Switch has been a more consistently successful seller over there. Plus it has become something of a haven for indie/lower budget titles, with many games selling more copies on Switch than on any other platform. I'm not saying FPWW will suddenly become a mega huge seller on Switch, but it would supplement Steam/PS4 numbers by quite a bit. Who is going to pay for development on the Switch port, when the game isn't selling on PC or PS4? And then who is going to be responsible for maintaining three versions of the game across different platforms, when there are other projects that could use the additional effort? I swear that there would be less calls for a Switch port if people thought about this first. Upper Management for any decent company isn't going to risk a third version of the same product if the initial two didn't sell well.

Devil's Advocate: If Fire Pro is winding down, it'd make sense to do a GOTY port to Switch since indie games have traditionally done big numbers on that platform from people that want to game on the go. There'd be no maintaining. Once the port is released, that'd be the end of active development. The third piece of DLC should be done by Q1 2019 so if Spike was really going to let Director work on the game for a year after release, it'd make sense to work on another port for release August 2019. edit: Or imagine a GOTY Switch port with a 2018 Heavyweight NJPW Fighting Road scenario DLC across all platforms.
