Without Misawa, Kobashi, KENTA, etc., Do you think NOAH can have another boom period. I remember hearing rumors at one point that Bushiroad was considering buying them to start a WWE Network style tape library for NJPW World. Although, I'd rather see them spend the money to buy the older NJPW tapes they don't own. I'd be a lot more likely to pay for World if I could watch Vader and the Three Musketeers or young Inoki killing gaijin.

Noah was brought out by money backer estbee now Noah global entertainment. They're aiming for Kaito on top as the ace, with 3 others below him. Thing is most new groomed aces failed because factors like...not being a big draw, start stop pushes, not over as the bigger stars like Kobashi and Misawa and Taue, came up during the lost of national tv that is NTV etc. It's hard to have a boom period without more reaching national tv and big ads something NJPW has.
Uchida now runs the company, he ran the Mutoh era in the end business wise, (Masa Funaki vs Jun etc.)
Bushiroad owned a small part of the old Noah ltd but Marufuji and co sold the company trademarks and belts and contracts behind Bushiroads back. So there's been bad blood.
They been giving out cheaper tickets that lets fans skip the bottom of the show. Makes K hall look full. The Marufuji show was a success.
I'm waiting for the Baba AJPW NJPW NOAH W-1 BJW sumo hall show this year. That should be good.

So, been checking out Stone Cold's podcast, and noticed an episode with Paul Lazenby, Canadian fighter, pro wrestler, and stuntman. I had to check this out, and yeah, it was a pretty bad ass conversation. At the end of the podcast, Lazenby offered up a match suggestion, one he says he watches a couple of times a year. It was an All Japan Pro Wrestling match from May 25, 1992 featuring Kikuchi / Kobashi vs. the Can Am Express (Dan Kroffatt and Doug Furnas). I checked the match out, I can't figure out how I missed Kroffatt and Furnas. I've watched HOURS of old AJPW/NJPW (etc...) stuff, and I know both of their names, but somehow I haven't seen this team in operation until today! Those two were SWOLE as shit (look at the F&%KING QUADS on Furnas!!!), but skilled and athletic in the ring! One match, and I'm an instant fan. To be honest, I can't get into WWE, I've tried, and I started thinking I'm just not into pro wrestling anymore, but after watching that match, the fire is still there! This is a fun match, and Kobashi/Kikuchi are over as SHIT in this match! Furnas one knee up high angle Boston Crab is a thing of beauty, and him no selling Kobashi's sub break up attempts is awesome! Lots of great stuff in this one, good pacing, good momentum control, just another high rated, typical 90's AJPW match. I hope you people enjoy this as much as I did, and for those of you who have seen it before, I hope you re-enjoy it! CanAm Express vs Kobashi/Kikuchi (25/05/1992)

Fujita ‘Jr’ Hayato announced he has Cancer... sucks.
Hes been away from the ring for the last year with a knee injury as well! I really hope he beats it and gets to return to Wrestling, he’s one of my favourites

Been watching "old" NJPW matches on the Fight Network and just saw this little gem, Tomohiro Ishii vs Tomoaki Honma for the NEVER Openweight title (2015)almost half an hour of heads down, horns out, stiff, career shortening grinding. Tons of 2 29/30ths counts, chops, elbows, lariatohs, head drops, and just overall good stuff. I've always had a soft spot for Honma, the lovable loser that can only exist in Japan (like one of my other favourite MMA guys, Ikuhisa Minowa, fun to watch but with a record like his, he would never get a second look from the UFC these days, but the fans love him, me included!), so it was awesome to see him so over in a match (long way from light tubes, broken glass, and tanks full of scorpions in this one!)! Great stuff, hot crowd, good pacing, good spots, please enjoy! :)

I know on the past outside of the biggest companies the rosters were a few months out of date. I found month old ajpw and dragon gate rosters on a random wiki before. (Which I need to update those)

This may be unpopular, but I have to say it...
Jon Moxley should not win the G1.
I've seen some of his matches, and he's a good brawler. I've seen his post match comments, he's full of passion. His work with Shota the Shooter is great. I am happy for him as he looks a lot happier since leaving Vinny Mac's Circus.
However, he's not a NJPW guy, he's signed to AEW. NJPW should not be sacrificing their guys so quickly to Jon. I'm bothered that Juice and Naito jobbed to him.
There I said it.

I don't think he does win the G1 I think they are building him up to give the winner(right now my best guess is Okada but I kinda hope someone else has a comeback) of the G1 a big opponent to beat to make them look strong.

Yeah, I think so too. Moxley will not win the G1.

Seems highly unlikely that they would have an AEW guy headlining the Tokyo Dome, so I have to agree. Seems like they're setting up for someone to make a big comeback, though looking at the standings its tough to figure out who.
Alternatively, maybe they ARE going to let Moxley win and he'll lose his title shot to someone (Naito? Ibushi?) before the Dome show...
