I'm mostly making this thread for AJPW, but I figured AJPW, NOAH, DDT, DG, Joshi promotions, etc. probably aren't all popular enough for their own thread like NJPW.
I haven't watched all of yesterday's AJPW show but the main event (Miyahara vs. Zeus) was amazing and I'd put it up there with the best matches of the year.

I've been super stoked on it. All Japan is really good right now at the top of the card. Miyahara, Suwama, Doering, Ishikawa, Zeus, etc. are all really great. Hell, the Yoshitatsu title match was even good. Their undercards, on the other hand? Meh. Although, I'm all in on Nagata as a tag champion with Akiyama and getting space to work, unlike in NJPW. I'm also digging the shit out of BJW the last few years. They just put the 6/20 Korakeun show up on BJWCore, which features a MOTY deathmatch and the incredible Nomura/Hideki BJ Strong title match.

I can't believe I forgot to mention BJW in the OP, their strong style division is one of my favorite things in wrestling at the moment. The Saikyo Tag League starts August 12

Anyone watched the last AJPW Show in Osaka? Loved the main event! But tbh it was a "one match show"

Sadly, most All Japan shows are. I like some of the tag stuff, but it's really just the triple crown stuff that is good.

Evolution has to tag with guys without any affiliation. Koji Iwamoto again versus Aoki - They should have get the belt to Iwamoto months ago.... Zeus vs. Shuji - Wow! You can see that the roster is so limited in the Triple Crown scene if Shuji is the first defense from Zeus.

Shuji vs Zeus should be a banger.

Is the DDT Universe subscription worth getting? What about BJW Core?

BJWCore isn't worth it. IT's basically just a streaming platform for their DVD releases and some of the nicovideo shows. DDTUniverse, on the other hand, has the backing of Samurai TV so you get a ton of archival footage and a shit ton of live shows too.

I've heard nothing good about the bjwcore service. Extremely long waits for uplands sometimes. Like months.

BJWCore takes a while for some of the bigger shows, but it's well worth grabbing and always has their good stuff. I dunno, if you aren't super into BJW then no, probably not worth it, but otherwise I'm fine with it. I'd cancel NJPW World before I'd ever let BJWCore go.
