OK, so this is the ONLY place where you will not get a warning for talking about what happened regarding the Fire Pro Wrestling Arena website, it's owner, etc. Let's keep it all in here, and keep in mind that we have very little context about the situation other than "it happened". I will not provide links or information, as I'm not into gossiping like an old lady, but if that's your thing, knock yourself out.

Summary in ten words: Owner did a bad. Old place unstable. New place stable.

Man, first NeoGAF, now this. What is it with site owners and that crap? Oh well, hopefully third time's the charm for Fire Pro Wrestling forums.

I don't know what happened. I only know that I didn't do it. Anyone who says otherwise is a spy.

I'm here for the gameplay. And to eventually upload some edits once I figure out how to convince my wife to let me drop dollars

Joshua Lessard, aka "Tiger Sword," was arrested on April 26, 2018 for transfer of child pornography (aka sending child porn via mail, transport, delivery or transfer by any means, including by computer).
He was the owner of the Arena domain and obviously the Arena folks cut ties with him as soon as this came out.
Based on legal records this is his first felony offense. If you want to follow the process of the trial online: publicportal.courts.ri.gov/PublicPortal/Home/WorkspaceMode?p=0If he's innocent, I hope he's acquitted. If he's guilty... Well, let's just say pedos don't have a great time in prison.

I been seeing people say their leaving the community for good and want to stop playing the game because of this.
Seriously even if Sword is guilty, the fuck does that have to do with Fire Pro as a whole or the larger community?
Just by the criminal math statistics (you know 1 out of every 10 people shoplift ect) then by all logic we likely got some thieves, rapists, arsonist and maybe a murderer in our alumni. Just because their in the alumni doesn't mean it reflects on the entire community or Game.
Seriously where does virtue signaling ever get anyone?

I don't see how you throw the game out because someone who hosted a site for the community turned out to be a likely scumbag. That should not taint the community or the game. And the rapidity in which the community reacted to move ahead and cut ties should demonstrate our seriousness to distance ourselves from that stuff.

Eh, dunno if I'd call that virtue signaling as much as shock. Someone that had a somewhat vital role in the community was accused of something awful. There were people here that were pals with him, would talk to him, etc. The initial reactions are gonna be all over the place and it's probably just a natural part of the process at this point.
