I rarely drink... Tonight is the first time I've had something in a couple of months and it wasn't anything serious - just one of those mountain dew style "Not Your Father's" drinks.
My main thing is coffee and zero calorie soda these days.

Anyway, I did drink more than I usually do during the World Cup fever.
That doesn't add up to much, just a few beers, but it was unavoidable. Even at work there was beer during games.

I wouldn't get too offended by people saying they're not going to play the game again. For one, it's likely going to work out about the same way everybody says they're not watching WWE again every time Roman Reigns main events a PPV only to tune in the next night for RAW. As said, it's likely a lot of shock - especially with those who directly interacted with the guy, or got entertainment on the regular via watching his youtube streamed promotion. It'll likely take those folk a bit to differentiate the man from the experience because in a way to them he was directly connected to it. If they can't and actually do stop playing? It sucks, but in a weird roundabout kind of way I get it. There's gonna be at least one person who watched literally all of his shows that tries to load the game, and just cringes and turns it off.
It's kinda like how even though Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit from the 2003 Royal Rumble is five star match it's kinda extremely difficult to sit down and watch now because a good chunk of the commentary is talking about how much Chris Benoit is a family man who loves his family. Sure, it SHOULDN'T effect the match and the product, but you still hear it and cringe. Some people moreso than others. I don't really consider it virtue signaling or whatever. It's just that the memory of it is just tainted now.
Still, I suspect most people will go back to playing happily once the shock wears off and people have time to forget Tiger was a thing.
Also, while I haven't killed anybody - one of my friends in high school was recently arrested for bashing his mother-in-law's head in with a fireplace log. So that's gotta qualify as close enough, right?

While I also hope the guy is innocent, I've come to realize more often than not it's the people you don't expect to do horrible shit that ends up doing it first.

Okay when Pfs Chaos gets on the Arena and demands his account be deleted because "the weirdo who made this site is actually a pedophile" then after being told Sword just owned the domain and Cdrive (who is innocent) actually built the site.....still goes on about not wanting to be associated with the site.....then calls me a likely Pedophile like Sword for "being Mean" to him.....I do call that Virture Signaling. and imo it's immature and childish. According to the definitions of "virtue" and "signaling", this post is virtue signaling. Also, SJWs can eat it. Everyone can go to hell. Everyone but ME. |

As far as this whole situation is concerned, if by some small chance he's innocent, then holy canoli, did the feds royally screw up. If he's indeed guilty, dude deserves the Rosemary Kennedy treatment.
I do wonder how all this effects his edits though.
