The Senatorial Office Available edits are listed with a full profile. The Senatorial Office is the conglomeration of wrestlers founded by Senator Steve Phillips. It consists of two parts, the Senatorial Stable and the Senatorial Selection. The Office mostly contracts its workers off to other feds and considers itself an affiliate of the FPWA. Anyone who wishes to book Senatorial Office members for their own shows is encouraged to do so, although I would like to know ahead of time if possible. The Office also holds its own small scale shows from time to time, broadcast from the Beltway Full Contact Martial Arts Center. Any Senatorial Office shows will be broadcast on Twitch at my account. www.twitch.tv/senatorphillipsAny of the edits for the Senatorial Office will be featured in the Senator's Odds and Ends collection, which can be found by clicking the Senatorial Office logo above. Here is where you can find some basic information and all the previous promos, rankings and results of the Senatorial Office--- OFFICE CHAMPIONS --- World Wrestling Daily Digest is the main news source on the Senatorial Office, one of the top dirt sheets in the industry. A few recurring figures for WWDD: -Kevin "The internet" Anderson: The founder and main personality of WWDD, Anderson worked for years as a backstage interviewer for multiple feds, and gained both notoriety among the fans for his relentless questions and sources around the wrestling world. Anderson believes himself to be the voice of the internet wrestling community and has often gotten himself into trouble for pushing hard in interviews and for his over the top proclamations in his column. -"Fast" Eddie Edison: Writer of "Fast Eddie's Fast Take," Eddie Edison is a well known color commentator who has worked around the world, known for his rapid-fire delivery, and can be currently found announcing for AAW. An expert on international wrestling, Edison's column either consists of a short, to the point interview, or Edison's bullet pointed opinion on multiple wrestling subjects. -Maxwell McNally: Writer of "A Friendly Chat with Maxwell," McNally was one of the most respected lead announcers in professional wrestling for many years. Retired from his main craft, McNally is noted for his gentlemanly ways and expansive vocabulary. McNally was hired on the behalf of his former broadcast partner, Eddie Edison. His column generally consists of McNally sitting down with the interviewee for an informal, laid back interview. - “Digital” Dave Doolittle: Known for his Ring Beholder newsletter, and his infamous, ubiquitous percent based match ratings, both founded in 1989, Digital Dave has been the target of much controversy over the years, with fans, wrestlers and promoters alike taking aim at said ratings. Fluent in Spanish and Japanese, he has however also been the source of much insider information and remains one of the top journalists in the world of combat sports. -"Textbook" Tim Dwight: The legendary founder of the Dwight Gym training facility, one of pro wrestling's most respected trainers who came to the sport with an NCAA folkstyle background and has retired after decades in the professional ranks at the beginning of 2021. Tim Dwight has always been known for his integrity and his encyclopedic knowledge of techniques across a wide variety of styles, and brings Textbook's Corner to WWDD, breaking down signature moves and gameplans for wrestlers and matches. -Bill Wade: Considered a significant pioneering journalist on the subject of professional wrestling, Bill Wade has run the Grapevine Wrestling Journal for over four decades and has meticulously chronicled the development of the sport as well as other combat sports in the duration. Wade is not signed to WWDD, but has been associated with most of the core editors, especially Dave Doolittle for decades and has a (mostly) friendly relationship to the publication. -Tom S. Hunter: Longtime blogger and reviewer, as well as the author behind the experimental Quantum Vault project, who calls himself "The gonzo journalist of the squared circle, the Robert Christgau of professional wrestling." Hunter focuses on providing capsule reviews of wrestling events, accompanied by his trademark snark. -Professor Mark Gizenga: Active competitor in the Senatorial Office and teacher/researcher from the University of Kinshasa who has been an occasional contributor to WWDD on the subject of international wrestling. The Professor joined WWDD in full in 2024 to provide deeper long form intellectual analysis on a variety of wrestling and culture related articles with his Professorial Podium.

Ok, I finally ported everything worthwhile over here! I have a link up there to my Archival topic, which will be where I list more of the basic Office info, results and all the old stuff from the old boards. Now, let's get down to business, shall we? --- The Office in Upheaval! Major Changes!Kevin "The Internet" AndersonThe Senatorial Office has been in a state of flux over the last few months. The issues began with technical problems concerning the organization's streaming service. Unfortunately, once those were fixed, internal politics again took hold. Senator Steve Phillips and Morgan "Midas" Matthews had a series of disagreements over the future of the Office which became irreconcilable. While Phillips again wanted to reach out to several more outside organizations to join the affiliate network, Midas Matthews opposed the external expansion. The two waged a small, fierce war behind the scenes over the last week, almost losing the entire Office archives. Finally, when it appeared that the entire organization might have been in danger of folding, the two came to an agreement. Phillips and Matthews have now decided to put the entirety of the Office's regular operational budget and roster into the affiliate feds. Members of the regular Office roster will be distributed to the Philadelphia Extreme Wrestling Alliance, Santana Family Wrestling, Wacker Drive Revival, Universal Combat Shoot Style and Pan African Wrestling. Furthermore, Matthews has agreed to allow Lightning Pro from Japan and the Texas Independent Pro Wrestling Federation(TIPWF) into the Affiliate Network. Lariats and Legislators #5 is still expected to occur without any changes, as is the upcoming AAW/PEWA supershow, and the Pan African tour, but all Office events past these three will be affected. The Senatorial Office will function more as a NWA-esque entity overseeing the affiliates, and will continue to maintain the Office rankings system. The Office Party events will likely occur on a much less frequent basis, replaced with featured Affiliate Network events, and future Lariats and Legislators events will showcase talent from across the entire Senatorial Office of organizations.

The Senatorial Office's upcoming schedule has been reactivated. For the next three Fridays, expect Office talent to engage in exciting action. -Friday, July 27 - Santana Touring Festival -Friday, July 3 - AAW vs. PEWA Supershow -Friday, July 10 - Lariats and Legislators #5
As the Senatorial Office begins to phase out its regular Office Party shows in favor of highlighting the affiliate feds, we find ourselves back in the Dominican Republic as the endless Santana Touring Festival continues on.
Santana Touring Festival - July '18 Five matches held on Friday, July 27 at the Auditorio de Pedro Santana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
Main Event - The Test Salvador Sosa vs. Felix Santana Sr. On the verge of his challenge for Felix Jr's Dominican Golden Championship, Sosa will first have to face the test of Felix Santana Sr. While Salvador Sosa's critical comments towards the family patriarch have been relentless, Felix Sr. merely had one sentence for his belligerent opponent: "If you have such a big problem, meet me in the ring."
Triple Threat of the Unknown El Froggy Mask, ??, ?? vs. Poison Froggy Mask, Felix Santana III, El Hijo de Macchiato The endless war between El Froggy Mask and his counterpart in the Rudo Army promises to reach new heights on Friday. The Notorious EFM promised to bring top notch allies from elsewhere in the Critical Alliance, and will have to deliver, considering the strength of the Rudo Army opposition in this one.
Santana Family vs. Very Canadaian Felix Santana Jr. and Felice Santana vs. Canadian Grizzly and Megan Chabot Felice Santana has become an increasingly popular attraction around the Critical Alliance, but she has not risen too high to team with her father in SFW. Canadian Grizzly has recently introduced New Brunswickian pro bowler, Megan Chabot as his partner in SFW, in a team they call "Very Canadian." Very Canadian seems to have distanced itself from the Rudo Army for the present time, but this has not softened Grizzly's constant pro-Canadian rhetoric.
The Cool Flame of the Phoenix Diego Santana vs. Kyle Anderson[Phoenix Rising] Diego Santana may not rise above the rest of his family in stature, but is known amongst the hardcore as one of the best workers in the business. On the other hand, Kyle Anderson was once known mostly for a lengthy losing streak in his home fed of Phoenix Rising, but has recently lifted himself out of the slump with some spectacular performances. This promises to likely deliver as the best match of the show.
Fashion vs. Monochrome Margarita Morales and Nefertiri vs. Opaque and Yamikuro Two fashion models team up from across the globe to face two decidedly unfashionable opponents in this contest. Nefertiri was scheduled to make her debut on the Pan African tour representing Egypt, but couldn't resist showing up in SFW to team with fellow model, Morales in this contest. On the other team, Opaque, a constant rival of Morales sought out an ally from the PEWA, finding the ghastly ghost of the ring, Yamikuro to be a suitable ally for the Rudo Army.

Promo roundup for Santana Touring Festival - July '18
All promos translated from Spanish unless stated otherwise
Diego Santana: <The Cool Flame burns hot! I have always sought out the best in the world to challenge myself, and I see that Kyle Anderson is a man not unlike myself. He is not the loudest speaker, and he is not the biggest name. But like me, I know that he is an exceptional hard worker who never gives anything but his best. And when he arrives in SFW to face me, I promise that I will not only match his best, but I will rise up one extra step, and show him the true pride of a Santana!>
Felice Santana: <I'm back home again! I've been wrestling so much in Phoenix Rising that it feels like that's my new home, or maybe it's my home away from home, or maybe it's my home number two! Anyway, it's great to be back here again in my family's fed, and I can't wait to team again with my daddy and go out there and teach that obnoxious Canadian with the bear head on his head that the Dominican Republic is a great place that can make great wrestlers!>
Canadian Grizzly:(In English) I was almost going to give up and go back to the wonder of my homeland, but just when I was at my wit's end, I meet Megan. And Megan, like every other Canadian, is great at many things! You may not know this, but she is a professional champion bowler! And not only that, but she's amazing in the ring! And I told her, "you need to team with the Grizz." And she agreed! So we now challenge you, Felix Santana Jr! We challenge you Felice Santana! Come take us on! But when you enter the ring, you will find yourselves at a distinct disadvantage, because while you might be the pride of the Dominican, we are both Very Canadian!
Felix Santana III:(In English) I heard my senile old grandfather used to play this video game. You played as a frog, and tried to cross the street. Seriously, I don't get how old people lived such boring lives, but when I heard that, it reminded me, I don't just want to take over this organization. I want to act like a speeding car, and run over this so-called "Froggymania" that's spread around the wrestling world. And while I want to crush El Froggy Mask and his ridiculous fan support under my heel, I have the perfect tools to do this. El Hijo de Macchiato will wake the people up and make them smell the coffee! And even better, Poison Froggy Mask will give the people an amphibian that they can properly support. So bring whoever you want, Froggy Mask. You'll just end up like a big green smear on the pavement no matter what.
El Froggy Mask: <Felix Santana III speaks a big game. But he does not know what is about to leap out at him on Friday. The Rudo Army has been threatening Santanas for a long time. It has given me trouble, too. But the Rudo Army is limited. The Amphibian Association has no borders, no limits! And the friends of the Association are everywhere! Look out, III, look out Poison, look out Coffee Man, the Notorious EFM is coming for you!>
Felix Santana Sr.: <I have a lot of respect for Salvador Sosa. He is a real talent. A top star, even. Reminds me of how I was once young and hungry, and had a chip on my shoulder when I started this. He can do anything in the ring. But he lacks two things. Obviously, he has not been around long. I have spent decades in this business. But that can be overcome. Second, he lacks the proper attitude. He thinks that just because he is special, that he is destined for greatness. Kid, let me tell you something. I have seen many special ones come and go. But very few of them became truly great. Because they didn't have to work for greatness! They thought it came to them! That they were born with it! But hear me! Even if you're born with it, you have to make it work! And let me tell you this last, Friday, I promise that even if you outclass me all around, I will make you work for everything you do! The path to my son's title will come through me! Be ready!
Salvador Sosa: <Felix Senior likes to talk a lot, but he doesn't know what's about to hit him here. I'm not just an all around top level athlete. I'm a competitor. I'm the best that the Dominican Republic has to offer. And the Santana Family has feared me ever since I arrived here on the scene. I was wrestling around well before they signed me. Why didn't they? I think old granddaddy here didn't want me ruining his son's Golden Championship. And I don't even blame him. But now, the clock's ticking. The Santanas' time is coming close to an end. And I don't even care about Felix Senior here, all I'm focused on is Lariats and Legislators #5, where I get my just, overdue shot at Felix Junior's Dominican Golden Championship. Just remember, Santana Family, savor every moment you have left on top, because the rightful king's coming for his crown.>

Bonus Match Mohammad Ramses vs. Phil Mercury Two of the Office's most hyped incoming stars faced off here in a post-show match. This did not just live up to expectations, but exceeded them. The dynamic energy of Mercury was undeniable, with the high flying showman pushing the pace, but Ramses was not one to back down from a challenge. After a breathtaking display of virtousic action, Ramses caught his foe with a horizontal cradle, to close out what turned out to be one of the best matches in the history of the Senatorial Office...and certainly not the last one that will happen between these two. Main Event Salvador Sosa vs. Felix Santana Senior This match was intended to test Salvador Sosa for his worthiness in facing Felix Junior for the Dominican Golden Championship. He passed the test with flying colors. At no chance did the elder Santana present any threat to his dynamic foe, and following an emphatic Swanton Bomb, Sosa set himself up for his title match. El Froggy Mask, ??? and ??? vs. Poison Froggy Mask, Felix Santana III and El Hijo de Macchiato Silver Hawk and Johnny Rocket both rolled into town to represent Wrestle Parade! The match was fairly even before El Hijo de Macchiato went on a run, wearing down all his opponents. Even when other members of his team tagged in, Macchiato would anchor his teammates, and kept Froggy's team from garnering any momentum. Eventually, Felix Santana III would turn it up, after taking much of the match off, and landed a fireman carry slam on El Froggy to take the win. Felix Santana Junior and Felice Santana vs. Very Canadian(Canadian Grizzly and Megan Chabot) The father and daughter teamwork of Felix and Felice was practically seamless as this match developed. The Santanas seemed to be more in control than not for most of the match, Felice hitting both the Double Lotation and the Santana Sky on Grizzly, but later on, Chabot tagged in, and managed to KO her diminutive opponent with a vertiable blitzkreig of attacks from off the top rope. Diego Santana vs. Kyle Anderson(Phoenix Rising) These two both had something to prove to their organizations, and took a methodical approach in doing so in the early going. Anderson landed several suplexes over the ropes as the match went on, using those to take charge. A big Michinoku Driver II from Santana then started up a huge sprint, but just when it seemed that Diego had the advantage, a destructive Dinosaur Buster from Anderson turned his lights out. An emphatic victory for Anderson, who now looks to climb the ladder after months of paying his dues. Margarita Morales and Nefertiri vs. Opaque and Yamikuro 33:15 (Morales defeated Yamikuro with Dulces Suenos) (Image of result did not save for some reason) The early part of this one included a rather vicious slapfest between Yamikuro and Morales, both teams too calculating to go all out before the ten minute mark. Things got heated up after twenty five minutes, with both teams brawling on the outside, and the fashionistas landed a long series of moves without much interruption, finally culminating in a cross arm triangle choke from Morales to Yamikuro. --- Match of the Night: Mohammad Ramses vs Phil Mercury -In a night full of solid performances, this one stood above the rest. A better introduction for either man would be hard to imagine. Performer of the Night: El Hijo de Macchiato -A strange choice at first glance, but the caffeine-fueled luchador completely controlled his six man tag match, reminding people how he once lead the Rudo Army. Injury Report: Felice Santana: Wind knocked out, no medical suspension Diego Santana: Undefined torso injury, suspended from Office action for one month

Kyle Anderson "There's a lot to be said about a convincing victory. Lot to be said for being the guy on top when all's said and done, proving beyond any doubt that you were the better man in the ring on that given night. And that's what I've always sought to do, is to prove that I can be one of the best. What I don't want is to be that guy that sets out to injure people. I'm not gonna brag, I'm not gonna gloat... winning is good, but I'm a hell of a lot more worried about making sure Diego's gonna handle what happened. Feels like crap coming in as a guest and having that happen. But I promise you, this isn't something I'll make a habit of. You deserve better than that."

Card for Lariats #5 is confirmed, with a proper date set as well. I flubbed the listings before, with PEWA/AAW taking place the week after this, instead of before.
---
Lariats and Legislators #5: Fight for the Right Friday, August 3
Fight For the Right #1 Contender Match Winners of Mutombo/Tokugawa vs. Rahman/Moonsault The winning team from the opener will compete for their future chance against Cowboy Johnston in this match. These four all represent the best the Senatorial Office has to offer, with Mutombo's charisma, Tokugawa's crushing knees, Rahman's technical brilliance and Marcus Xavier's unparalleled agility all making a case for a possible top spot on the roster.
Texas International vs. The Gridiron Gang Los Space Cowboys (Cowboy Johnston and Kiyoshi Takada(Royal Ring)) vs. The Gridiron Gang (Freight Train McMichaelson and Jerome Harris(Bushido Pro)(Maikeru) A popular team on the independents, Los Space Cowboys now make their official Office debut, representing Texas International. At the same time, the two former football stars of the Gridiron Gang promise to spoil the Western Ace and the Man from Texas, Japan's party, with Freight Train McMichaelson's bruising power and Jerome Harris's top shelf athleticism posing a distinct threat.
Dominican Golden Championship Match Felix Santana Jr.(c) vs. Salvador Sosa Salvador Sosa's impressive loss to Jaeger Flippo at Office Party #12 only demonstrated his potential. As such, his request for a title match with Felix Santana Jr was quickly accepted. Will this be the moment Sosa stands on top of a nation, or will Felix Jr continue to represent his family's organization?
War of the Wild Women Juliette Erving vs. Listalva Anne Heyward(Phoenix Rising) Two likeminded individuals, two dominating powerhouses, two wild women. Juliette Erving has professed her admiration for Phoenix Rising's Queen Anne Heyward for some time, and begged PEWA and Office management to make this match happen. One might wonder what will occur when these two cut loose...
Senatorial Office #1 Tag Ranking Match Neon Knights(Supernaut and Holy Diver) vs The Capitalists (Kevin Fitsharris and Anthony Kalb) The Capitalists have made their case for a shot at the top tag team ranking. Now they get it. Will the dominant Knights make them regret their ambition?
PEWA Extreme Championship #1 Contender Jack Fury vs Luke Powers They asked for it, and they got it. Powers is looking for a shot to regain his title against Tomas, while Jack Fury has made his return to the ring since retiring five years ago, and leaving the PEWA as long back as 2006...after losing to Luke Powers. Now the two face off in what should be a monumental battle.
Flying Fried Chicken Exhibition Golden Horus(Flying Fried Chicken Wrestling) vs. G.P. Christopher The legendary Golden Horus from Japan will fight the PEWA's own G.P. Christopher in what promises to be a fast paced showdown.
Fight For the Right Qualifying Match Jean-Pierre Mutombo and Masa Tokugawa vs. Ibrahim Rahman and Mr. Moonsault A match to determine the contender to face Cowboy Johnston at Lariats #6 in the future. The winners of this tag match then will go on to face each other in the main event.
Ramses vs Mercury II Mohammad Ramses vs. Phil Mercury Both of theses competitors made their debut at the previous Santana Touring Festival event in a bonus match, and proceeded to steal the show with one of the best matches of the year. Ramses won the first encounter with a surprise rollup, but Mercury gave the towering Egyptian everything he could handle up to that point. Now the two face off again in what promises to contend for another match of the night award.
