Alright, for the other promotions that are just as small:
ONI - Strong Style promotion that's making waves mostly due to their cross promotional matches with ACE. Even then, the roster isn't really afraid to take massive bumps or scar themselves in deathmatches (I mean, why do you think Hayato & Masato were named the Deathmatch Duke & Dandy Respectively?)
TFC (Total Fighting Championship?) - Small MMA promotion founded in Japan way after BLADE folded as another answer to KFS, even nabbing a few former talent from the mentioned promotion, like Yasuo "Bancho" Tanaka. What gets people going to it other than that is their inclusion of Tag Team MMA fights, which hasn't been tried beforehand to the scale of what TFC does.
ROW - Indie Showman promotion that started out wrestling in Port Towns and Docks (Hence the name), with the roster consisting of blue-collar wrestlers who still have a side-gig alongside their weekly shows.
SL - Lucha Libre promotion that is your archtypical small local one (Not unlike the promotion seen in Nacho Libre!). Also harbors a wrestler who may have taken a few pages from the Hardcore Mainstay known as Mr. Cobra. (Looking at you, Eduardo Diyas!)

I especially like that it gives an explanation for Hayatos and Masatos nicknames.

On a side note, has anyone thought what MPW stands for? I'm thinking it would be Manga Pro Wrestling, due to the bizarre gimmicks the roster has. Not to mention the logo gives off the vibe that it's mostly comedy/cartoon promotion, along with what Senator Phillips described. Kinda like what Chikara does.

I think Manga Pro Wrestling is as good a name as any.

Blan Fleming's name is actually Bran, but has really bad handwriting.
Mr. Cobra is a Kevin Sullivan style character. Karts Rowdy is his only willing follower.
Steel Johnson was accused of stolen valour which is why he spent several years in Japan.

Steel Johnson's Johnson is actually made of steel.
Frog Buster is a little bitch.
That's it.

Some stuff i thought up for JTW (Only the Free guys at the moment) & ACE:
JTW (FREE):
"Man of 1000 Faces" Yuhi Sengoku is a wrestler that as the name suggests, has wrestled under numerous gimmicks and names. Usually he'd deny about his gimmicks being the same person, proof being that they wrestled each other (Since most of them were masked, which makes it easy for other wrestlers to be a stand-in).
"The Gentleman" Kousei Kanai is known for his respectful manners towards his opponents, even after bashing them in the head with a baseball bat (Because surprisingly, he's a notable face in deathmatch wrestling). didn't always be that way in the first place. At first he was a violent individual not unlike Dozan Kurokawa of the Akutoku Kai stable. But unlike Dozan, it was not a gimmick. He was not caring for his fellow men backstage and in the ring, even managing to get into a few scuffles with them at a Parking Lot. It was only after some advice from his manager that he'd have a Gentleman-like demeanour to get over with the fans easier. Eventually the polite and respectful personality struck and he grew into it, even extending over to backstage as well.
ACE:
(SEISHUN-GUN)
Kodo "Flawless Form" Hanamichi is the founder of ACE. The high-flying, chair dropping, power-bombing hardcore mainstay has been bouncing through various small promotions, never really getting bigger recognition due to his style and his overall willingness to bust his face open and break tables. It was then he noticed a drought in Deathmatch Wrestling promotions. Deciding to form his own promotion where he can perform his style freely along with a few others who were on board, it was where ACE was born.
"Deathblow" KEN is a bit of an oddity compared to the rest of the roster. A practitioner of Shoot-Style Wrestling that used to be popular with the likes of Nobuhisa Sanda (Nobuhiko Takada, for those who don't know), KEN agreed to be on board as mostly proof that ACE can do actual wrestling without the weapons, and to show that Soji Kanda and Takaya Hinomiya aren't the only ones who still lace up in old Shoot Fighting Gear. (in fact, other than Sanda himself, both "The Warning" & the "Silver Flash" are also his inspirations)
(R & Death)
No idea for Soichiro "Overkill" Nagase yet.
Masanori "The Boss" Hamada is a former biker from Sotenbori, Osaka who was a feared tough guy/legend in the area. After police crackdowns forced him to disband his gang, he was one of the rare few that knew what to do next in life. That being a hardcore wrestler.

I'll repost what I've send Senator over private message, so I can share it with the rest of you. First up, the NCPW roster:
Yamato Ryukawa - Inspiration: Hiroshi Tanahashi - A once in a lifetime superstar, and current face of the company - Former training partner and current friend/rival of Jin Kiritani
Jin Kiritani - Inspiration: Shinsuke Nakamura - Was pushed very hard at first, but failed due to a lacking character - Returned after an hiatus with a new, more eccentric gimmick, as the "Trick Prince", which finally pushed him into the super stardom - His bouts with Yamato Ryukawa were some of the highest rated matches in the company, once even earning a 110% rating by Digital Dave (:P)
Yoshi Onodera - Newcomer to pro wrestling, Onodera made his name in MMA - Is currently mentored by Akimasa Nojiri, who came Out of retirement to team with Onodera - His hard hitting style and submission prowess make him a very dangerous opponent in the ring
Akimasa Nojiri - Former 3 time NCPW champion, Nojiri retired to become the head trainer at the NCPW dojo - Returned to the ring after he was inspired by the talent of Yoshi Onodera - While many people claim that he is way past his prime, is still a very capable in ring competitor
Eikichi Kurusu - ... yeah, I've got nothing for him yet. Not much to work with.
Katsu Himuro - The one and only, the Ultimate Champion, Himuro is considered by many to be the ultimate wrestler - Is the second protege of Mitsuru Takahashi, after Mitsuru lost faith in his former protoge, Tatsu Muto - The figure head of the Overkill faction, Himuro is always in close contership for the NCPW Championship
Mitsuru Takahashi - The Massacre Emperor, and leader of the Overkill faction, Takahashi is brutal, cunning, and vicious - He was one of the top superstars in NCPW, frequently feuding with fellow veterans Akimasa Nojiri and Mask Legend - Nowadays, prefers to let his protege do the fighting, but is still a very dangerous man when he does step into the ring
Tatsu Muto - The first of Takahashi's proteges, Muto was very quick to rise to the top of the card - Won the NCPW Championship, but had to relinquish it due to an injury - This led to Takahashi losing faith in him, abandoning him to concentrate on his new star, Katsu Himuro - Despite his best efforts, Muto was never able to reclaim the championship, but started calling himself the "Uncrowned Champion" (since he never lost the belt) - Is now forced to team with HIROSHI and Mr. Sexy (which he HATES!)
HIROSHI - His nickname, "Airhead" is a very apt description - A good wrestler, but dumber than a bags of bricks - Is primarily used to fill out the ranks of the Overkill faction, and for competition in 6 man tag Matches
Eiji - A product of an obsession with Yakuza movies, Eiji calls himself the "Bad Boy" and acts like your stereotypical tough guy - While not the greatest wrestler in the world, is very tough to beat (some would say he is too stubborn to know when to quit)
Mr. Sexy - A wrestler who wooed many women with his good looks back in the day - However, can't accept the fact that he is getting older, which is why he still has that ridiculous hair cut from his youth - Still believes himself to be god's gift to women everywhere, Mr. Sexy frequently stops in the middle of a match to flirt with the women in the audience (much to the annoyance of Tatsu Muto)
Takaya Kiryu, Hiro Kurosaki, KAGAMI, Tetsu Akimoto - Takaya Kiryu was an unremarkable wrestler at the start of his career - That changed after an excursion to the MWA Promotion, where he first teamed with Javier Martinez, but later betrayed him to start a feud - Kiryu returned to NCPW with a new attitude, and created the Esperanza stable, where several of NCPW's underapreciated wrestlers joined this charismatic Leader - Okay, I'm cheating a bit here, since Esperanza is basically LIJ :P Hell, Hiro Kurosaki is EVIL, KAGAMI is Sanada, and Tetsu Akimoto is Hiromu Takahashi
Team Vanish (Peter Franklin, Frank Elliott, Nathan Dickson, Clifford Mason) - Led by the Hulking Giant, Peter Franklin, Team Vanish is a gaijin stable determined to take over NCPW - Frank Elliott and Nathan Dickson are a tag team, that used Elliotts' technical prowess and Dickson's sheer brutality to win the NCPW Tag Team Championship several Times - Yes, they are basically the Bullet Club
Secondly, the GPW roster:
Jack Howard - Son of a famous movie producer in Hollywood - Originally your typical spoiled rich kid, who changed his ways after he was saved from a car accident (that he caused) by Charles Young - Trained with Young to become a pro wrestler, and formed the Noble tag team with him (Noble would later expand into a stable after the emergence of 666 and Young's stint to Japan) - The top babyface of GPW, and leader of Noble
Charles Young - Raised on the mean streets of LA by a poor, but still happy family - Son of a professional wrestler, who had to retire early due to injury, Yound decided to become a wrestler as well to help support his family - Saved Jack Howard's life, as stated earlier, and formed the succesful Noble tag team with him - Got an offer to work in Japan after impressing a talent scout that watched a GPW show - After a succesfull run in Japan, Young returned to GPW to rejoin Howard in the newly expanded Noble stable - Has a particular hatred for James Bailey
Matt Robinson - Raised in an orphanage - Devoted christian (hence his nickname "The Divine") - Trained in kick-boxing, and later in wrestling - Became a professional wrestler to support orphanages like the one he was raised - Helps organising charity events, with his Noble stable mates
David Houston - Was trained in the NCPW dojo by Masked Legend - Knows and trained with Blood Angel - Is on an encursion to America, which is how he joined GPW, and later the Noble stable - Has a rivalry with Bill Bullock
Mickey Williams - Had a very rough childhood, with an abusive father and an overly Christian mother (which would shape him into the man he is today) - Was trained by his mentor and friend Thomas Walker, who took him in after Williams fled from his home - A satanist, sadist, and very cruel individual - Leader of the 666 stable (consisting of Williams, Thomas Walker, Bill Bullock and, their latest recruit, Robert Moore) - Frequently clashes with Moore over leadership decisions, with tensions rising
Thomas Walker - Veteran of the sport, with a long career - Originally retired, but came back at the request of Williams - Shares Williams' satanistic beliefs - A silent and stoic individual, but incredibly athletic in the ring, despite his size
Bill Bullock - A loudmouth, irritating man, but ultimately a coward - Claims to have served a prison sentence (which is why he is named "The Convict") because he killed a man, but he was only convicted due to breaking into an convenience store - Despite his loudmouth demeanor, is actually quite decent in the ring - Was bullied into joining 666 by Williams - Has a rivalry with David Houston, and is utterly terrified of Paul Collins
Robert Moore - Was a promising young talent, but squandered a potential SWA contract due to his alcohol addiction - Became very bitter, hateful and mean spirited after losing this chance - Went from one federation to another, before joining the 666 stable in GPW - Despite joining the stable willingly (due to his lust for violence blending well with 666's mission), Moore frequently clashes with leader Mickey Williams
James Bailey - Former friend of Jack Howard, Bailey is an arrogant, insufferable rich asshole, who tries to convince Jack to go back to his old ways - Is pretty much hated by the entire roster, including the 666 stable - Has a particular dislike for Charles Young, who he blames for taking away Howard from him
Paul Collins - Extremely violent and highly unpredictable, the whole roster knows that Collins is not to be messed with - A former street fighter, Collins uses his powerful fists and foul temper to decimate anyone who is unlucky enough to step into the ring with him - What he lacks in technique, he more than makes up for in brutality - For some reason, hates Bill Bullock the Most

Love seeing this post resurrected! Some awesome ideas and it makes me want to use the SWA roster and play Fire Promoter again to steal their Titles and humiliate them to allow them to respectfully and fairly compete!! 😁

Got a few more for KOG. Still a work in progress, but I thought I'd share what I already have:
"The Protagonist" Johnny McLaren, "Gentle Giant" Kurt Kidman and "Best Friend" Charlie Arai - These three were best friends since childhood - Formerly, they were actors, until a chance meeting with SWA wrestler/actor Alex Thompson made them decide to pursue a career in professional wrestling - McLaren and Arai both are accomplished Kickboxers, while Kidman is a former amateur wrestler
"King's Spear" Williams Cruise - Leader of the Main Force stable - Extremely proud of his home promotion, Cruise uses his no nonsense, old school wrestling style to defend KOG from internal (like the Stun Gun stable) and external threats, hence the "King's Spear" nickname. Rose to prominence when he spearheaded (heh) the counter attack against the invading CWA forces in the classic KOG vs CWA feud.
"Madman" Nick Coleman and "Power is Justice" Beast - Beast is a veteran pro wrestler, who trained Coleman and teamed with him as the Demolishors - However, Coleman betrayed Beast and joined the Stun Gun stable - Since then, Beast has made it his mission to make Coleman pay, and nothing will stand in his way for revenge - Coleman, meanwhile, tries to end Beast's career using every dirty trick in his arsenal - Colemans catchphrase is "Power is everything", a rephrasing of Beasts nickname, and he uses it Out of spite
"The Addict" Bobby Jones - A literal adrenaline junkie - Jumping from Ladders, rooftops etc etc, Jones will do everything to feel the rush of adrenaline in his veins
That's all I've got so far. I'll be back with more.

On a side note, seeing the WWWC Grand Prix Tournament again made me notice that some of the KFS regulars were in the tourney as well. Brad "The Caveman" Hays had to face off against Victor Bosch in the Opening Round. Same goes for Davi "Sticky Hell" Carlos against July Eagle & Fernando Moreno against Cherry Blossom Ikki.
Tough Luck, i'd say.

Tough Luck, i'd say. The whole KFS roster was actually part of that tournament. I've compiled a list of the tournament match ups, because I was simulating it in the tournament mode to see who would come out on top. The Match ups were as followed: Blade Saeba vs Jack Stacey Brad Hays vs Victor Bosch Guy Simmons vs Matheus Silva July Eagle vs Davi Carlos Bernardo Gomez vs Lucas Alves Fernando Moreno vs Ikki Freddy Rogers vs Alex Palmer Enzo Santos vs Carlos Alvarez ... man, I really have too much time :P Side Note, I've got one more for MPW: Freddie - Freddie was formerly an enhancement talent - Sick and tired of losing all the time, he went on to search for the fabled "Red Death Mask", a mystical artifact that grants the wearer incredible abilities - Freddie found the mask, and with it, He transformed himself into a 313 lbs powerhouse (while still retaining his normal body shape and agility) - However, Freddie did not account for the mask to take control of him - With the mask in charge, Freddie is powerless to stop the mask from joining up with the Blue Velvet heel stable in MPW

That sounds so like a gimmick you'd find in a promotion like MPW, Chikara, or even Lucha Underground if Freddie was a more serious character. I like it!

Thanks man :) I really need to spend some more time with move craft. I'm picturing a taunt, where Freddie is struggeling to take off the mask late in the match. Indicating that Freddie is getting more control over his own body when the mask gets hurt in the later stages of a match.

Man, MPW is so much fun to brainstorm for. I've got some more ideas for them, but I thought I might present them somewhat differently than my previous ones. Here we go:
"The unthinkable has happened. The Lord of MPW, "The Hentai" Baron Charles, has fallen at the hands of Ichi Kondo, the evil "Gravedigger". Without their leader, there was noone to oppose the Blue Velvet faction. Opponents were crushed by the might of "Attacking Titan" Kane Kashiwabara, opposition was smited by the reincarnated "Black Dragon God" Tomonori Mifune, and enemies were destroyed by the latest owner of the infamous "Red Death Mask", Freddie.
However, in the far away reaches of the MPW Dojo, a small glimmer of hope is lighting up. Three young men are determined to take MPW back from the clutches of Blue Velvet:
- The ACE, Kazu One, an incredibly gifted man, whose only real downside is his own cockyness and brash personality - The Highflyer, SASUKE, a man with an mysterious past but incredible skill - The Iron Heart, YAMATO, a quiet man who would do anything for his friends
Together with their wise, handsome, incredibly gorgeous mentor (his words, not mine), Baron Charles, these three depart on a quest to challenge powerful foes until they are strong enough to take MPW back from Blue Velvet. Their first obstacle?
The Kig Crew, a team of Wrestling bears.
Will our heroes manage to regain control of MPW? Will they even be able work together long enough to try? Find out in the next season of MPW!"
I can just imagine Baron decorating the arena into different settings to simulate the journey, with outside wrestlers representing the next challenge for our heroes.
Spoiler alert, but in my mind, SASUKE would turn out to be the brother of Ichi Kondo. This would lead to him joining Blue Velvet for a while and bring him into conflict with Kazu.
