SWA Official Canon/Personal Canon

There was actually an idea tossed around on the discord a while back. A sort of group project where each participant would get assigned an edit from the default roster and “revamp” that character.

I finally got around to starting on custom Fight! graphics for the belts of the Fire Promoter feds, starting with GPW.





Make sure you replace all the _ in the filenames with a space so it matches the belt's name in the game.

6-Man Tag is coming next, along with a Women's belt (I'll be doing Women's belts for all the feds, even the MMA ones), then I'll work on SWA's belts.

Thanks to some fortunate events, I found out that the game already groups the Free Agents with the other edits when you export them in the Mod Suit. Only ones missing are the rest of the Champion Road Beyond guys. Notorious and Nature Strange are part of WWWWW, and Frog Buster, Masaomi Kinugawa and Ewan Jacobs are members of GFC (Gruesome Fighting Championship?). I have no clue where Ted Morgan, David Hayes and Kotaro Kurone could fit in, though. And the rest are just brawlers or legends.

Looking forward to it ^^ There is one group in particular caught my eye when I finished the list. That group is the trio of Johnny McLaren, Charlie Arai and Kurt Kidman from KOG. Their nicknames (The Protagonist, Best Friend and Gentle Giant, respectively) all remind me of movie character tropes. Perhaps all three of them are former actors turned professional wrestlers? We could say that Alex Thompson recommended this to them when they were acting in a movie together :P I have no idea what to name them, though.

Edit: Got another potential tag team. In JTW, Raita Matsuoka and Jiro Kazama. Not only do they dress nearly identical, but they nicknames match, too. Raita is the Thunder God, while Jiro is the Wind God.

How much changes to an SWA wrestler would you guys consider as ok. They would still have their original name with changes to other aspect.

I found myself going nuts and nearly completely ( 80% ) changing Dai Fugo's moveset. His look is completely changed from his golden look.

What's your line between tweaking them and creating a completely new edit. I still want people to recognise them but at the same time have my input on them.
