I always liked X-Pac, even after his "X-Pac heat" days had begun.

Love: Yuji Okabayashi
The most unsung and understated talent in Japan. Consistently hard working, refined yet exciting power moveset, awesome selling and always goes above and beyond to make his opponent look incredible.

Love: Shotaro Ashino, Ikemmen Kuroshiro Jiro (just a funny and entertaining performer), Kento Miyahara (understated brilliance); perhaps they don't get the love because they are not in NJPW. I like Joel Redman's style and look but I think his work needs a little more polish; he's like a poor man's Hideki Suzuki/ ZSJ but with a good look.
Hate: Triple H simply because his ego damages the overall product and he gets away with it. Disgusting.

Assuming every single wrestler has both fans and detractors, I'll just say I'm really liking D'Lo Brown on my current rewatch of Attitude Era. He never really stood out back in the day for me, but he's been a joy to watch as an older fan. Fun faces, reactions, the neck of course, and he did some cool stuff in the ring. That running liger bomb is badass, and he had I assume one of the best frog splashes in the game.
Also, Gangrel is a pretty good worker in the ring. His constantly smiling or otherwise open mouth to show off teeth and blood is dumb and annoying, I don't like him as a performer in that sense, but he's a good wrassler!

Can't say anything about his wrestling but the Brood entrance is still one of my favorites of all time.

Jeff Jarrett had a good stomp on downed opponents. It's no The Rock, but stands out as more than generic.

I concur with Wondy on Gangrel. One of the most underrated midcarders WWE had going during the Attitude Era. I actually got to see him live at a local show several years ago and he took the time to talk with me and my brother as well regarding our appreciation for wrestling. Very nice guy.

Alternate universe Koko B. Ware with a Goose instead of a Macaw is criminally underrated. You can't negatively judge a worker just because of the staph infections caused by the goose shit in the ring any more than you can judge a wrestler (Jake the Snake Roberts) for their Basilisk eating that referee that one time.
It was one time. Damn smarks.

Love: 2 Cold Scorpio/Al Snow: Both guys had a great combination of moves, decent looks, and athleticism, and I think Snow is pretty underrated as far as promos. 2 Cold was 20 years ahead of his time and had great entrance music to boot.
Hate: Randy Orton, I know he's good but never liked his promos. Hate when he's a face, feels like he is making fun of pro wrestling when he is a face.
Hate: Bray Wyatt: I just don't get the love fest for this guy. I liked him as a leader of a cult enough, but boy were his promos tiresome; maybe if I was younger I would be scared of them. Or maybe I just have sour grapes because I felt his finisher was better suited for Fandago lol.
Not that anybody asked but I also hate the spear as far as moves go.

If we're gonna talk moves, I always thought the Pounce was a stupid finisher.
