It also starts you with $10,000,000 as I noticed last night.

In the GBA mode it took forever for an original CAW to increase popularity if you got them as a D/D/D/D Free Agent that you had inserted into the game. This could be the same issue. Basically you need to continuously use them, have them win against more popular wrestlers, and hold titles to get them to budge in popularity. I don't know if this code is necessarily making it impossible, I haven't actually put forth any effort to try to be honest. Even if you could increase their popularity the real issue is how you can get your roster of say 50 to increase popularity when you only have like 2 guys on the roster right off the bat that have higher than a D in popularity? Wouldn't that make sense if they have low charisma? Winning isn't everything.

This is good news - another wrestler in my "unlock" playthrough has risen in Popularity ranks. He won my promotion's Trios Titles as the Destiny faction Captain, won a singles Title from another promotion, and then just now (in April's event) won a singles title from another promotion in the semi-main event of a combined cross-promotional show with DFW - a promotion we just partnered up with. So yeah - just win THREE championships and you can start getting noticed! 😁 I've also noticed some marginal increases in other wrestlers that I've booked more frequently. I'm really happy about this as it shows it's still viable to see popularity gains even with my entire roster available. The key is for me to rely on "Training expeditions" and loaning wrestlers to other promotions just so I can try to focus my events on a core group of my wrestlers and have enough roster spots to bring in more popular wrestlers from other promotions. So, more than 6 but less than 90 LOL

So a randomly generated fed (ONI) did a cross-promotion event with me, I agreed and it did really well and one of my guys won their Jr Heavyweight title.
I figure I could loan a popular wrestler to them and build a working relationship; "This promotion has no interest in working with you"
...k

About ONI...After 3 cross promotion events together and after inviting one or two of their wrestlers in some of my event i've made a contract deal with them so its more cheaper to invite their wrestlers

I have a contract deal with DPW and it's really helped my wrestlers gain popularity as a result.
The costs for inviting talent are much lower and they seem more willing to accept my talent.
It's not always clear why another promotion won't accept my talent, especially when they accept one tag wrestler and reject their partner. I don't know if there's some "RNG" mechanism at work here. In any case, I'm really enjoying the cross-promotional activities.

I’ve really grown to dislike the cheat, when I use it I find that I just stop caring about the mode after a few cards as there is nothing to work towards. I have 10 million in assets, my roster is bloated enough what am I trying to achieve? I don’t know.
I think it’s incredible that this cheat exists but the more I play with it the more I realise I was totally fine with how the progression in the mode was originally. I think having a goal works better for me rather than a sandbox version.
Again though cheats giving players more options and choices to play how they want will always be cool to me.
