This code is a godsend. I was getting tired of programming the same small group of wrestlers into each card. I'm going to start a new promotion using DJKM's edits. I have them sorted as stables by promotion and era, under the DJKM "promotion". I'd to replace the fictional promotions with real leagues, so I'll spin off each DJKM "stable" into its own real world promotion. I assume this will work for my purposes?

Now if only I can use the rings I made, and the match making and belt use was a bit more liberal, I might un-refund it. It seems like this 'cheat code' was a New Game+ type of thing. Hold up, you can't use your own custom rings? You're stuck with the default one? That sounds like a HUGE downgrade. I guess on PC we might see mods that allow custom rings and perhaps starting a promotion with champions already made. I'd love to see this grow into a real world wrestling simulator. Once again it feels like a shame that it'll be up to PC to realize the games complete potential...

It’s because of the sponsor images. But instead of using your custom coloured rings, it has to be the default one.

How stupid they did it as a code. Why not just make it an option? I'm glad at least it's there. How old are you??? I don’t mean that as an insult but I’m only 21 and 15 years ago this would be nice little cheat code. What happened to actually enjoying games and little secrets like this only being a bonus. I know in this community actually playing the game isn’t amongst the majority of us but I figure in the east/japan actually playing the game is what they cater to.

I'll probably eventually trying this, but it sounds like it takes all the challenge out of the game
The first 3 or 4 times I played I ended up bankrupting my company by March, this playthrough I've made it up to June/made a profit on my last show

If this is a cheat code, there is most definitely a money cheat that we're not yet aware of.

Anyone with the DLC tried the contra code? That used to be a popular code to add to games back in the day (even non Konami ones)

Just to further add: It also removes the limit for your rival promotions as well, seemingly...from my testing so far.

Is there a cheat code that allows you to negotiate with more than one wrestler because that sure as hell would be helpful.

I tried this cheat on hard, with 16 competing promotions, and had everyone on the default NJPW roster signed. Even though it said 10k in assets, when the game started in Jan. Year 1 I had 10 million in assets. It re-adjusted the total assets.

Huh, now I noticed that everyone's popular is practically D/D/D/D across the board save for a few guys on the roster.

Clearly, I grew up on cheat codes. They already went through this code nonsense for mission mode. There is a time and place for codes but this doesnt feel like one of them when they are busy poorly implementing alot of features and bugs are obvious.

There is a time and place for codes but this doesnt feel like one of them when they are busy poorly implementing alot of features and bugs are obvious. I understand wanting to just get in the mode and do what you want but you gotta see that this is a game first of all. There is time for cheat codes in it whenever the developers think so. I find it pretty cool and challenging that you only start off with 6 by default. And since I’ve always been a sucker for those “tycoon” games (mostly roller coaster and game dev) and the fact that this is a 2D wrestling game that is obviously not direct competition tote 2K series, this mode is good to me. All of these complaints would hold weight if this was King of Coliseum or or something but what can you expect from a JAPANESE 2D game. A lot of these ideas that people here have are with an ultra western mindset and it’s annoying the nitpicking I see around here..
