Your logic effects what your wrestlers do 100%.

So far I'm having a lot of fun with this mode, playing with a mix of past and present real-life wrestlers, as well as some of the Spike edits. I'm playing as AEW, but based in Japan (because I screwed that up when I was setting up the game). EVIL came in and won my heavyweight title, and then I was able to sign him. Also, my current tag team champs are the odd combination of Chris Jericho and Michael Hayes. They haven't defended the straps yet, as Hayes got injured for three months in the same match where they won the titles.
My scouts seem to be totally worthless. I keep sending them out, and they keep returning empty handed. I also really wish you could book battle royals. Other than that, I don't have too many complaints.

These defaults are pretty awesome once they've spent a few years at your gym so long as you upgrade it. Their stats raise so they're able to put on longer matches, thus scoring you higher match ratings. In year 7, most of my guys are rated B+ in attack & defence now so my last 6 shows have scored 90% + ratings. I feel like a proud dad :D

Now I've only played about a year's worth, but my biggest complaint so far is that while the booking is fun overall, I'm disappointed that there seems to be absolutely no story-telling element. There are no fueds between wrestlers (kayfabe or not), no story angles, no cutting promos, stables don't seem to do anything, nothing like that. You just wrestle a card and that is it. Sure I can make up story stuff in my head, but its a shame there is nothing like that actually covered by game mechanics. Hopefully I'm wrong about some of this stuff since I've only played a year so far.

It never really perpetuates the storytelling part of wrestling anywhere and never did. Shame but that's what you were getting since the beginning.

FPWW is my first Fire Pro game, so I didn't know what was or wasn't in the management modes of previous games. You can say its just a management sim but IMO working stories is a vital part of the management side of the business. I mean its fun as is, but the more I play the more I see where it could've been more and its a shame there may well never be an improved sequel.

I know what you're talking about and I agree with you, I just point out what Fi-Promoter really is. Management plus Storytelling is the ideal astral way, but I guess that was never the focus.

I bought Fire Promoter yesterday and had a little play with the default roster, but with the money cheat on.
I must admit I think the mode will be a lot more fun once I've put my own edits into the mode. Also the money cheat takes a little bit of the fun out of the mode, so I'm making a starting roster of 6 edits for when I start the mode properly.
It does remind me of a football/soccer management game when it comes to the money management part of the game.
I'm happy I spent £15 on this, and now I feel obliged to make my edits as I feel there is now a point to Fire Pro World and I'll gladly create my 72 original edits(off FPW1 on GBA) just for this mode.

Year 8 now & my last 6 cards have rated 99% + with the defaults, I'm one match away from running my first 100% card!
It's only now I've realised other feds will send you champions & you can put their titles on the line, I could've won my 3rd junior title but my guy lost

Another thing that's complete BS, I released a guy because he wanted more than he was worth & he slated us to the media. Our US pop went from A to B & after 5 shows in the States at 95% plus ratings with 65,000 + fans I'm still at B because of one guy!?!

Guy probably did a shoot interview and all the smarks burned your promotion's merchandise.
That is serious BS that he was able to lower your entire promotional rating by an entire letter though. Not fair at all. Too many things in this mode are random or overly punishing and cause your hard work to be diluted. That's why I've been keeping a backup save before each event that I run just in case something like this occurs.
I've had 2-3 guys with a message saying something like "They had it and left" but it didn't hurt my popularity.
I also had 3 guys retire already and it was kind of annoying since I wanted to push one of them (Charles Langford) as part of a Trios tag team with his two stablemates. It's kind of funny though as he did kind of semi-retire in my actual e-fed.
Either one of my sponsors or my TV deal said that if I left more than 2 wrestlers go, I'd be in trouble.

Haha!! I did laugh at that, it must've be some steroid scandal or how my champ likes to cross dress or something
Not only harsh but after 6 solid shows, we still haven't recovered so it must've been huge
10 years in, I've still only seen the one guy retire, Mr Cobra at the SWA, the crazy old fool

When I first got FPW and was tooling around with the defaults before I made edits, Mr. Cobra was one of the banes of my existence. I'm glad he retired. Probably runs a crooked wrestling school now, LOL.
It takes SOOO long for a promotion to raise one letter in popularity. Maybe you can run some cross-promotional shows with a promotion of a higher popularity? That could help.
I got to the end of Year 2 on Saturday night and somehow my promotion is now ranked #3 overall. Thing is, it's ranked woefully low for some of the individual categories so I still have a lot of work to do. We're ranked "S" in our home region but "D" in all of the other ones. Plus, the other top promotions refuse to work with me or even accept my wrestlers.
My plan for Year 3 is to work on raising the rankings of our midcard wrestlers in our home region. All my main eventers are "S" or "A" but the midcard "C" rankings have definitely hurt our overall average. Then I'll start spreading out to other regions with a stronger overall roster: starting with Japan where we ran one successful show and captured some Titles.

Mickey Williams on the default roster reminds me of him so much, he even has some of his signature moves, he's absolutely brutal. Fork attacks & chokes & he'll usually tap people out to a King Cobra Choke or Torture Headlock. It took me a good few years to warm to him but I couldn't help with his somehow high matche ratings & his overness. The fans love him, the blood thirsty sickos
The only other fed I seem to be able to cross promote with is the Mexican MWA & the last card we shared stunk! They send guys to me all the time trying to get their belt back!! I finally got there though, took 6 or 7 cards to finally get back to an A. A lot of hard work for one dude spilling the beans
Have you had any action in Europe? I've never ventured there as there seem to be no Europeans in my game. I started a on the smallest amount of promotions so I put it down to that
