In my somewhat original fed (its based largely around Lord Worms edits, my guy Dick Slender finally toppled Lord Worm to become the new world champ.

I swear I love this mode and it gets even more addicting when you use real-life promotions and have more than 6 wrestlers on your roster. But some things end up being a little off. Like the heck do two women take the tag title belts off a team like Giant Bernard (Man I miss that guy) & Tyson Tomko?
AND they're constantly defending the titles and winning, against male competitors. Its funny, yet sad at the same time.Lol.

Just started a new save with FMW. Running as a hardcore promotion. I have Hayabusa, Cactus Jack, Megumi Kudo etc etc and just managed to snag my latest hire to continue with our constant barbed wire matches...
...Ric Flair!
And news flash, Hulk Hogan just recently won the Big Japan Heavyweight Title!

It all comes down to how the edits were made and fantasy booking is the best when you can’t predict what’s gonna happen next :D

I keep meaning to post my random goings on in this thread but in the end I've decided to throw it all into a little eFed instead. Somewhere I can keep track a little easier as well. criticalclub.com/thread/1045/all-elite-wrestling-fire-promotorIt's way behind where I'm up to currently (Feb 2nd year) so I'm like TNA taping months of shows in advance and then drip feeding them out. Currently into a new phase of the company now. The past few months have been dominated by an influx of British Talent.. not quite a stable takeover but just a large group of talent trying to win everything. Pac, nick aldis, zack Gibson, Jimmy havoc, drew Galloway and Marty scurll. The long storyline was Jericho vs Kenny Omega. And nick aldis's lengthy unstoppable championship reign. (spoiler alert) now the game has rivalries though I can use some of those to build storylines

Asuka and Bull Nakano are the strongest tag team in the two years my promotion has been running. Everyone else is a dude.

I discovered the game two weeks ago and I became addicted immediately. I’m already in year 8 of my fire promoter mode. I pretty much have roster size full, I’ve split my roster into two “brands” so each brand runs a show then there’s a joint super show where they compete to see which brand is better. My ace of one brand is Kenny Omega and Okada for my other brand.

Year 4. Planning on starting a Joshi-Division. No belt for ladies. But: Whenever i loan some of my workers to other feds it is most likely that they come back with some hipgold (haha, you folks have no idea what that means in german :lul: ). So i did this thing: I "stole" (actually BUSHI did) a Junior-belt from some low-level fed and turned it into a lady's belt.

This epic encounter happened yesterday in my Fire Promoter version of AEW. Yes, Hogan is the champ here. Apparently he had his working boots on!

I'm into year 7 of my US based promotion, mostuly Rural large and Urban Medium shows. Averaging high 80's for my cards (with my year end spectacular at a larger venue coming in at a whopping 94%). Currently ranked number 4 of 12 or 13 promotions. A few thoughts:
Once another promotion snags one of my edits before I get a chance to sign them, they want nothing to do with me. Loans, co-promotions, invites - all nada. I think my edits are talking shit about me to the SWA.
Have snagged 2 other promotions titles. Using those as my TV and cruiserweight titles respectively.
My world championship has changed hands only 3 times, and I'm getting at least a year out of those reigns. My tag titles on the other hands are hot potatoes.
Damn, this is addicting!

I've been playing Fire Promoter again over the past few weeks.
It's useful when I'm too tired to really work on edits but still want to do something in the game.
It's a good "mental autopilot" escape too and a good way to clear my mind.
I finished Year 6 last night. My promotion became #1 at the end of Year 5 and we've maintained that status, and grew our lead, during this year.
My rankings are: S/S/A/B and I think that "A" will turn into an "S" soon. We've had a lot of high ranked and heavily attended shows in that region so I think just one more successful event will turn it.
Then we're going on a European tour to increase that "B" rating.
The two biggest challenges now kind of work against each other:
1) I haven't had a lot of luck finding European freelance talent. Two of my roster members (who I added to the save recently) have been found in Europe.
2) Because of the "unlock code" and my giant promotion, I'm not able to recruit any more wrestlers even if I did find anymore. At least not without dropping anyone from the roster.
However, one way I've gotten around this was by long term planning. My roster was so big that there was no way I could book everyone and it was a chore to "loan" like 20-30 guys per show to other promotions. So I sent them out to the regions I knew that I would play in the future. Right now a ton of guys I haven't used for a while have "B" or more ratings so I can use them and freshen up my cards. I'm basically treating them as "outside talent" with higher ratings but I get to control them so I don't have to worry about no-shows or them rejecting invitations.
I still am annoyed at the "rivalry" system as I get like one sudden rivalry a year with no repercussions after the match I book. I wish this was more robust and we could actually work to it AND have better payoff.
One thing that's weird is that I have better success getting 100% rankings with FPR edits that I ported over to FPW (using Freem's tool) but never truly "upgraded" to FPW (adding priorities, etc) than many of my edits that I upgraded. I really don't get that though it does confirm my suspicions that I was a better edit maker in FPR than FPW 😁
In any case, if anyone is looking for some low stakes, mental palate cleansing action, give Fire Promoter another try. It certainly was not as deep as it could have been but it's still pretty enjoyable.

Wow, it took a WHILE to turn the "A" into an "S" for Latin America but I finally did it! 🎉🍾
I had multiple 97%+ rated shows in the largest arena for months. I'm not sure if I couldn't get over the finish line cause I was doing the same type of shows. So I switched it up and ran a cross-promotional show with MWA. My promotion defended all our Titles, got a high show rating, and then we got awarded with the "S" rating! I wonder if cross-promotional shows boost the ratings a little more than regular shows do. Either that or I was right near the line and any highly rated show would have done it.
It's now time to turn the "B" in Europe to an "S" rating. I'm currently in Year 7, Month 8 so it will probably take until the end of Year 8 to do it but that's fine. I have a bunch of people on training expedition there that will be coming back with juiced up ratings over the next few months that will definitely help popularity.
That and I've been getting more of those random sudden rivalries. Those really boost audience attendance. If I could just have one of those rivalries happen between two guys who are already popular, that would be great. It would also make sense if the mode actually acknowledged when I've run my own little programs through multiple matches between the same wrestlers. I wish these rivalries would be based on our own booking so that we'd be rewarded for sticking with a program. Instead, half of the rivalries I've seen have been with at least one wrestler who was on a training expedition!
Despite its flaws though, the mode has really been enjoyable as of late. It's nice to set a half hour where you are just focused om booking while also not having to write everything out afterward! 😀

So I've created a pretty accurate 2005 Fire Promoter game using a lot of the "default" Returns wrestlers, along with various edits. The promotions are: 1. WWE - 30 2. NEW JAPAN - 30 3. NOAH - 30 4. ROH - 20 5. CMLL - 20 6. AAA - 20 7. ZERO-ONE - 15 8. TORYUMON - 15 9. DDT - 15 10. CZW - 10 11. BIG JAPAN - 10 12. MICHINOKU PRO - 10 13. OSAKA PRO - 10 I'm playing Toryumon, so instead of 15 I started off with six: Ultimo Dragon, Magnum TOKYO, CIMA, Mochizuki, Shuji Kondo, Milano Collection AT. Basically all the faction leaders. It's November 2005. So far I've scouted and recruited Mango Fukuda and BxB Hulk. I've gone from D to C popularity in Japan.
