Shitty music sells to the masses.
Can't really blame him.

Shitty music sells to the masses. Can't really blame him. Seems especially pertinent to quote Booker T, here. "Don't hate the player, hate the game."

I found a YouTube channel that has a bunch of videos from indie promotions that were active in my neck of the woods back in the day. I cannot vouch for their quality, however. Fun fact, there's one from the mid-90s called WWE (World Wrestling Empire in this case). m.youtube.com/channel/UCEYPwEVTvn81FHAtapxS8VA/playlists

The one upside of this pandemic is that I'm finally tackling my wrestling DVD backlog. Finished off ROH's Best of KENTA comp (long OOP) which was excellent of course then watched the first couple of matches (and promos) on the first disc of THE HISTORY OF THE ECW WORLD TITLE I got from Highspots a couple years ago. Damn, love me some old school ECW.

Don't worry, no debates will erupt over your answer, just genuinely curious as to your opinion.

The first match is Douglas/Scorpio for the NWA title so there's your answer. :)

To me, 2 Cold Scorpio is vastly underrated. I used to love watching him in WCW and ECW.

Scorpio just kicked so much ass in ECW. Of course they didn't use him well in WCW/WWF at the time but that's no surprise. There's a bonus match on the HARDCORE HOMECOMING DVD where he and Beniot put on a wrestling clinic. It's excellent!

Does anyone have a subscription to WWE Network? Would you say it's worth it? I'll probably only watch stuff from the 90s(Attitude Era, WCW and of course ECW).
At the moment I'm only watching AEW, and that's only once a week. I fancy watching a little bit more wrestling, yes I know I can watch ROH on Fite for free but that's only an hour or so. Plus there's a shit ton of classic Pay Per Views on there like In your House Canadian Stampede that I'd love to watch again.
I'd love to hear some thoughts off you guys first before I give Vinnie Mac a monthly ten pound. Then I can make my mind up. Thanks in advance.
Just to add, I watched a free Raw on there just now from a few weeks ago. I switched it off after 10 mins due to the amount of camera cuts. So the modern day WWE is out of the question.

Yeah, you're better off waiting for it to move to Peacock. Now then, that only depends on US subscribers. If you live in Canada or Mexico, I think you could still get the network. Also, there options like DDT Universe, NJPW World, I think AJPW has streaming. CMLL has weekly events that they upload Sunday afternoons on YouTube. Colega Pro, Land's End and a bunch of other companies are putting up regular events on YouTube as well.
Also, there's always Professional Wrestling from Florida that I upload :P Sorry, had to plug my efed :P

I've been thinking about signing up for NJPW World to the point where I've actually created an account and was wondering if NOAH and or AJPW had a streaming service as well. NOAH doesn't I'm guessing and I'm so out of touch with modern AJPW I have no idea what their current status is.

First month is 100% free and every month after that is 900 yen. www.ddtpro.com/universe/videos?teamId=noah

I've not watched an Owen Hart match for 20+ years until tonight. I totally forgot how good he was.
