I watched the first hour of Dynamite tonight. After the Jurassic Express vs. Dark Order match, an angle went down. BakFu - you gotta watch it when you can. Then check out below: Seriously, Luchasaurus has big Bak Fu vibes!!!! The martial arts, the baddassery, the mystique.
Even the head attire is a little similar.
This was probably the coolest angle I've seen in AEW so far!! |

This was probably the coolest angle I've seen in AEW so far!! I have yet to see an AEW show, and Luchasaurus is definitely one draw for me. I saw him in ROH (I think? Maybe somewhere else as well?) and liked what I saw. Hell, even my favourite curmudgeonly, miserable, polemicist, champion of kayfabe Kentuckian Jim Cornette likes the guy, so there’s something special there. I will definitely go out of my way to check him out and see if the parallel you mentioned is there! 🦖🤼♂️ |

You absolutely have to see the segment where he returns. It's early on in the AEW show for 11/13.
He reminds me of Bak Fu totally cleaning some f'n house. It was inspiring 💡

AEW is great so far. I was worried the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega would be shoved down all our throats, but they have resisted the temptation to give those guys a hard push right away. Really looking forward to John Moxley vs Darby Allin next week. I also like that while the Inner Circle is the major heel group going on right now, they aren't the sole focus of the weekly shows.

Thanks, you always come through with the hook up! Yeah, I have seen Luchasaurus, and he threw that question mark/ Brazilian kick that Glaube Feitosa used so effectively in K-1! He is pretty bad ass, I’ll have to search out some full matches!

Darby vs Moxley from this week was an amazing match. Started out awesome with Allin's entrance, and only got better from there.

I think the entire trio are supposed to be "kid appeal characters" but he's not as entertaining to watch work as the other two and I'm guessing he's just supposed to be "the funny one"
Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt are both still SUPER young (22 and 23, respectively) so what they're doing now works perfectly for them but man, I think the Jurassic Express just works better as a duo sans Stunt. I don't hate the guy but he's entirely unnecessary and adds nothing to the dynamic.
