March's house show is complete, and we've got a hell of a live show coming up later this month... a ton of potential. We had some surprises on this one, though. Quick Results Fuyuki Takenaka def. Fiona Walsh Virginia Caldwell def. Rin Jokusato Shelly Hotlips def. Trinity Knight Samantha Steele and Sarah Silvers def. Rule XXX Helena Lundgren def. Y-Pac Allie Katt def. Vanessa Saunders Emma Travers and Diosa Syringa def. Wild and Wilde Inc. Lexi Dawson def. Maria Marella Nana Yoon def. Asha Nelson Kasey Ryder and Jessica Kimblee def. Melody Bryant and Rhiannon Banes Write-ups We've seen plenty of Fuyuki's power and strength in her tag matches alongside Rin Jokusato, but now that she's been in singles action, we've truly gotten to witness what this woman's capable of, and it was beyond impressive. She was a pure wrecking ball against Academy mainstay Fiona Walsh, enduring a huge submission attempt and landing a crushing Jackhammer to pick up a truly impressive victory. By contrast, this was a quick reminder of just how vicious and cruel Virginia Caldwell can be if she's in a bad mood, which she certainly seemed to be here after Fiona lost in the opener. She busted Rin Jokusato wide open mid-way through the match and simply never let up after that, eventually forcing her to tap out to a brutal heel hold, and practically guaranteeing that the two teams will meet later this month at the live show, this time in tag action. Shelly Hotlips has ended Trinity Knight's undefeated streak at four matches, though this one was tough going for the entire match, as Trinity's brutal armwork took its toll constantly throughout. By the end of the match, Shelly's arms were practically limp, but she still had the fight in her to land a sharp cutter that seemed to catch Trinity off-guard, and Shelly Hotlips handed Trinity her first official Academy defeat, in a truly stunning display. As chaotic as Academy tag matches tend to be, with Steele and Silvers showing that they're already becoming a staple team for the Academy with their exceptional teamwork. Still, Rule XXX did not make this an easy victory, with both Tara and Trish nearly scoring the win on a few occasions before Samantha Steele landed a crushing powerbomb to get the win in the center of the ring, with Silvers making the cutoff. We hardly need more evidence to show off Helena Lundgren's incredible power. This match put it all on display, as the Swedish powerhouse laid into Y-Pac with every bit of viciousness she had to bring, brainbusters and suplexes abounding until she landed a crushing combination that finished with a Karelin-style lift, followed by a deadlift German to finish the job. Vanessa Saunders might not have been ready for this one, as Allie Katt was firing on all cylinders, landing all of her big offense and enduring Vanessa's kicks and knees, never quite letting her get fully into the match before landing her big-time pumphandle drop, and beating the young kickboxer in what many might consider an upset... but Allie's certainly been looking much stronger as of late. A huge bounce-back match for the veterans here, as Emma Travers was on top of her game in this match, her moves coming off sharp and her timing impeccable. A quick Exploder suplex on Josie at just the right moment proved decisive, and Wild and Wilde Inc. walk away frustrated once again. Lexi Dawson was on the back foot for most of this match, only managing to get the upper hand late when she started to catch Maria with the brunt of her usual offense. Once she had control, though, she never let up, landing a quick rolling stomp and finishing things off with a running Shooting Star Press, slipping away with the victory and staying hot ahead of the tag title match later this month. Try as she might, with a new look, some new moves, and maybe one of the best matches she's had, Asha Nelson still couldn't quite measure up to Academy superstar Nana Yoon. Nana's been easily one of the top talents in the Academy for months, now, and she weathered a veritable storm of offense, eventually crushing Asha with her signature tombstone piledriver, and made it clear that taking the tag titles will not be an easy proposition. Kasey Ryder may not be the Academy Champion anymore, but counting her out of a match is still a very, very big mistake. Her timing was near-perfect here, rolling up Melody Bryant during a period of chaos, and scored the victory... and now, Melody will have to figure out a way to handle champion Jessica Kimblee. Still, we've seen some new stuff out of Melody... and we know that she's an athlete that's likely on Jessica's level. The Academy Championship match this month is going to be one hell of a ride, either way...

Coming up on Saturday, it's the Academy's monthly live show for March, which once again takes place from Proving Ground's usual arena. Kasey Ryder vs. Sarah Silvers
Samantha Steele vs. Vanessa Saunders
The Dream City Bandits vs. Diosa Syringa and Emma Travers
Trish Michaels vs. Heather Wild
Tara Helmsley vs. Josie Wilde
Rin Jokusato and Fuyuki Takenaka vs. Fiona Walsh and Virginia Caldwell
Trinity Knight vs. Y-Pac
Helena Lundgren vs. Rhiannon Banes
Maria Marella and Asha Nelson vs. Nana Yoon and Lexi Dawson for the Academy Tag Team Championships
Melody Bryant vs. Jessica Kimblee for the Academy ChampionshipKasey Ryder's consistently been one of the Academy's top talents since her arrival, but she's going up against someone that could very well be a huge rising star before long. Sarah Silvers has already gained a reputation for being one of the fastest, most agile wrestlers ever to set foot in the Academy... and she'll aim to outmaneuver Kasey in this one with those skills.
Vanessa Saunders continues to fight her way up the rankings, though it hasn't been an easy path for the former kickboxer. This month, standing in her way is newcomer Samantha Steele, who's quickly becoming one of the toughest powerhouses that the Academy's ever witnessed... but can Steele weather the storm of kicks that's coming her way?
The Academy veteran team has met with some harsh roadblocks as of late, knocked off of the top spot three months ago by Nana Yoon and Lexi Dawson. They also suffered a major setback last month on their quest to reach the top again as they lost to newcomers Rin Jokusato and Fuyuki Takenaka... not to mention separate singles losses to Wanted: DOA over in AFW. Against the Dream City Bandits, they'll look to rebound and regain their momentum, but the Bandits could very well be sensing blood in the water here...
Heather Wild has distinguished herself as perhaps one of the standouts of the initial Academy rookie class, second perhaps only to Keiko Maeda, who's now on Proving Ground. Heather's the only one of that class to hold the Academy Championship, a major feat considering the competition... but Trish Michaels is not to be underestimated, certainly not as she's been one of the standout talents of Rule XXX.
Rule XXX's leader, meanwhile, squares off with Josie Wilde, as the main team of the faction squares off with Wild and Wilde Inc. back-to-back. Josie's a dangerous wrecking ball in the ring when given the chance, but Tara's proved herself to be an unpredictable force in the ring herself...
Rin and Fuyuki have been quite the surprising duo as of late. After a rough start, they've scored some big-time victories in the past month, and now they're set to take on maybe one of the most dangerous duos in the Academy... can Fuyuki's raw power and Rin's unorthodox approach stand up to Fiona and Virginia?
Trinity Knight exploded into the Academy in a big way, reeling off four straight victories before suffering her first defeat earlier this month to Shelly Hotlips. She now turns her attention towards another member of Rule XXX in Y-Pac, who seems to remain the faction's wild card... no doubt Trinity will be looking for a quick rebound victory, perhaps aiming to start a new streak of wins.
Rhiannon Banes has come a long way from her rookie days, and she's looking to get maybe one of the biggest wins of her young career right here while her tag team partner aims for the top. Helena Lundgren, however, isn't likely to take this match lightly... these two are the #2-3 ranked wrestlers in the rankings, and Helena surely won't give up her spot without a fight.
Once again, Maria Marella and Asha Nelson find themselves fighting for the tag titles, championships that have eluded them more than once in the past. But with Asha Nelson seemingly pushing herself to try and reach another level lately, could it finally be time for the young duo to reach the top? They're still staring down a frighteningly effective team in Nana Yoon and Lexi Dawson... the former being perhaps the single biggest name in the Academy over the course of the past year.
Finally, Melody Bryant will try to topple the Top Dawg, and claim the Academy Championship. Melody's a rookie that's often found herself lost in the shuffle... lagging behind in singles, overshadowed by Rhiannon Banes in tag work, never quite reaching the opportunities that she's wanted. But this is her chance to finally prove herself... if only she can hold out against the top-tier athlete that is Jessica Kimblee.

Huge show this month, one that really showed the depth of talent on the Academy roster. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/957410110Youtube: youtu.be/15mEroCoQuMQuick Results Kasey Ryder def. Sarah Silvers Samantha Steele def. Vanessa Saunders Emma Travers and Diosa Syringa def. The Dream City Bandits Heather Wild def. Trish Michaels Josie Wilde def. Tara Helmsley Virginia Caldwell and Fiona Walsh def. Fuyuki Takenaka and Rin Jokusato Y-Pac def. Trinity Knight Helena Lundgren def. Rhiannon Banes Asha Nelson and Maria Marella def. Nana Yoon and Lexi Dawson to become the NEW Academy Tag Team Champions Jessica Kimblee def. Melody Bryant to retain the Academy Championship Write-ups Sarah Silvers jumped out to a fast start, but one can never count out former champion Kasey Ryder... she hasn't made it to the top multiple times by being easy to keep down. A big-time comeback culminated in a jumping facebuster, and Kasey would pull off the victory over the young rookie. Samantha Steele shrugged off the onslaught of kicks from Vanessa Saunders here, eventually taking command through raw power and imposing her will with a pair of brutal shoulder blocks that left Vanessa down and out. Samantha scores a huge victory, and the Academy once again is forced to recognize that perhaps Samantha could be a contender for the Academy's strongest in terms of pure power. The Bandits certainly tried to keep this one in their favor, but Emma and Syringa aren't called the Academy Veterans for nothing. Emma remains maybe the sneakiest technician around, snapping up Allie Katt in a quick counter roll-up at just the right moment to score the victory. Some people might find Heather Wild to be a bit abrasive, a bit arrogant... but there wasn't much of that tonight, just pure fighting spirit and heart. Trish Michaels had her beaten on multiple occasions, only for Heather to somehow endure, desperately throwing everything she had in response at Trish to even the odds... and she'd eventually complete a massive comeback victory, one worthy of any wrestling hero. Josie Wilde, meanwhile, was just a flat-out wrecking ball determined to wipe out Tara Helmsley. She managed to bust open the Rule XXX leader early on, and never let up, though Tara nearly took the victory if not for exhaustion keeping her from pinning after two vicious spinebusters. As it stood, Josie would lock in a Cloverleaf hold, and Tara was forced to submit after a hard-fought battle. Virginia Caldwell was clearly in no mood once again for any of the usual shenanigans from her opponents... Fiona Walsh got her shots in, Rin and Fuyuki had their moments, but Virginia would do the damage and force a tapout from Fuyuki, grounding the powerhouse and locking in a brutal heel hold to get the win. Trinity Knight looked like she was on the verge of starting another winning streak tonight... there was just one problem. Y-Pac refused to quit, not letting Trinity finish the job. Exhausted, arms hanging loose, Y-Pac nevertheless kept fighting... and a flying wheel kick seemed to knock Trinity for a loop, allowing Y-Pac to pick up an incredible victory. Rather than start a new winning streak, Trinity's now on a losing streak... and all at the hands of Rule XXX. Helena Lundgren was not about to give up her spot to anyone. The next in line to challenge for the Academy Championship, Helena came roaring out of the gate in defense of that opportunity, and while Rhiannon Banes certainly made this one a fight, the Swedish Powerhouse didn't let up... and eventually, forced the young Welsh rookie to Bow Down with her brutal powerbomb to finish the victory and ensure her shot next month. Asha Nelson and Maria Marella have finally done it. After multiple chances to reach the top of the Academy tag team division, they've finally gotten to the pinnacle: dethroning Nana Yoon and Lexi Dawson in style, as Asha's traded in her old basic cutter for a more RKO-style version, which she put to great effect in scoring the victory, and capturing the first piece of gold of her young career, along with Maria's second... this one, she'll hold a bit longer than she held the Academy Championship, thankfully. This was a statement victory, make no mistake. Jessica Kimblee cemented herself as the best that the Academy's got, as she brought down a thoroughly outmatched Melody Bryant. Melody's come a long way, but she was definitely no match for Jessica here, eventually wiped out by nearly every signature move Jessica has in her arsenal... finished by a big-time Frog Splash. Jessica retains, and is set for a massive clash against Helena Lundgren next month.

Another house show wrapped up nicely, with some surprises to be found. Quick Results Diosa Syringa def. Rin Jokusato Wild and Wilde Inc. def. The Dream City Bandits Fuyuki Takenaka def. Emma Travers Trinity Knight def. Trish Michaels Melody Bryant and Rhiannon Banes def. Samantha Steele and Sarah Silvers Lexi Dawson def. Y-Pac Nana Yoon def. Tara Helmsley Helena Lundgren and Vanessa Saunders def. Kasey Ryder and Jessica Kimblee Fiona Walsh def. Asha Nelson Virginia Caldwell def. Maria Marella Write-ups One of the Academy's finest technicians met up once more with Rin Jokusato, and had a surprisingly difficult time finishing things out against her. Syringa was in charge through most of this outside of the usual Jokusato antics we've already gotten used to seeing, but it wouldn't be Syringa's technical ability that won the day this time around, resorting to her Swanton Bomb to get the win instead. Fantastic teamwork from both sides in this one, as most would expect, but Heather Wild proved she's still one of the highlights of the Academy's original rookie class. She held tough against the Bandits, ultimately landing a vicious suplex on Allie Katt in just the right part of the ring, allowing Josie Wilde to cut off the save and secure the victory. Who would've ever seen this coming? Emma Travers, the veteran of the Academy, was absolutely wiped out here, overpowered and outmatched by the raw power of Fuyuki Takenaka. While she may have arrived in the Academy as a unit alongside Rin Jokusato, could Fuyuki perhaps have her eye on a bit of singles glory? Trinity Knight seems to have declared all-out war on Rule XXX after suffering two straight losses to their members... and finally, she's got herself a win over one, dismantling the arms of Trish Michaels and laying her out with a brutal Tornado DDT. It's unlikely her vendetta against the stable ends here, however: there are still two members she has yet to face, and no doubt she's going to target those two ASAP. The young newcomers, a team of two extremes, wound up coming up short against the more established duo of Melody and Rhiannon, thanks to some quick thinking and skill from Melody. She met Samantha's raw power face-to-face and often came out ahead, and snapped up Sarah Silvers in a quick flash pin while Rhiannon brawled with Samantha, scoring a very, very impressive victory. If it weren't for the usual Rule XXX attitude, Y-Pac probably would've had this match won. She'd been in control a fair bit, was likely one good move away from pulling it off... but she spent her time taunting Lexi Dawson, which quickly proved her downfall when Lexi landed a vicious Lightning Spiral and bound Y-Pac up in a tight pin that proved inescapable. Never count Tara Helmsley out until the very end. Despite taking two tombstone piledrivers and a huge double stomp from Nana Yoon, she kept fighting back, landing a vicious facebuster only for Yoon to pop right back up again as Tara was taunting her... and a snap roll-up brought a sudden end to the match, with Nana once again standing tall. Neither champion nor challenger were involved in the finish here, but make no mistake, Jessica Kimblee and Helena Lundgren traded blows throughout this match and made it clear that their match at the end of the month is going to be a wild one. Vanessa, however, took command of the match late, pounding away at Kasey Ryder before leveling her with a brutal kick to the head, pinning her deep in her corner and allowing Helena to easily fend off Jessica's save. It was only a few months ago that Asha Nelson looking this competitive against a top-level Academy opponent would be unthinkable, but this is a new Asha, a tag team champion no less... and while she eventually came up short against Fiona Walsh, she was absolutely relentless in trying to score a submission victory off of her ankle lock, not to mention nearly putting Fiona away with her new RKO-style cutter. Whatever happens at the tag title match, expect Asha to make it a fight. Like her partner before her, Maria Marella made absolutely sure this one would be a fight to the finish... and with Maria being every bit as comfortable on the mat as Virginia Caldwell, this one saw a lot of quick matwork being traded back and forth. Virginia, however, ultimately came out ahead in that respect, the constant countering between the two finally falling in Caldwell's favor as she rolled Maria into another leg-lock, wrenching the already-damaged limb until Maria had no choice but to tap out. Asha and Maria, however, are sure to prove that they're more than the sum of their parts as a team when the time comes to defend the titles...

This month's Academy live show comes in this Saturday, and the new Academy tag champs are set to be tested right away. Melody Bryant vs. Sarah Silvers
Vanessa Saunders vs. Kasey Ryder
Rin Jokusato and Fuyuki Takenaka vs. Wild and Wilde Inc.
Allie Katt vs. Trinity Knight
Shelly Hotlips vs. Samantha Steele
Y-Pac vs. Nana Yoon
Rule XXX (Tara/Trish) vs. The Foundation (Syringa/Emma)
Lexi Dawson vs. Rhiannon Banes
Helena Lundgren vs. Jessica Kimblee for the Academy Championship
Virginia Caldwell and Fiona Walsh vs. Maria Marella and Asha Nelson for the Academy Tag Team Championships The night begins with Melody Bryant seeking to bounce back after falling short in her attempt to claim the Academy Championship. After being brought down by champion Jessica Kimblee, Melody is now faced with the fastest woman in the Academy, Sarah Silvers... can she shut down the newcomer? Vanessa Saunders has continued to seek success in the Academy, after arriving as perhaps one of the top talents that's ever signed. But that hasn't translated into results... and she's faced with Kasey Ryder, who's been easily one of the Academy's best since her arrival. Kasey's also coming off of a big AFW debut, and despite losing said debut, her momentum may be too much to halt. The team of Jokusato and Takenaka has been a surprise story over the past few months. While they got off to a bit of a rough start, they've picked up some impressive victories, and if they can keep winning, they could find themselves in line for a shot at the Academy tag titles... do they really have what it takes against Wild and Wilde Inc. here? Trinity Knight's vendetta against Rule XXX continues, now with renewed purpose as she comes off a victory over Trish Michaels. Allie Katt seems to be the next woman in her crosshairs... can she take down the other half of the Dream City Bandits after losing to Shelly Hotlips a month ago? The new powerhouse of the Academy steps into the ring against the other half of the Dream City Bandits, as she takes on Shelly Hotlips, seeking to continue her rise towards the top. But we've seen Shelly pick up some major wins over tough competition in the past... and this could be a big night for Rule XXX. Y-Pac just might be up against the toughest match of the night, as she takes on Nana Yoon, who's been easily one of the top talents in the Academy from day one. Still, Y-Pac has definitely shown her own flashes of greatness, and this match could prove to be a major highlight of the night. The leaders of Rule XXX are staring down the team that just might have established themselves as one of the best in the world today. The Foundation are fresh off of the biggest win of their careers... and while this will be a tag match, not a trios match, and thus not including Sung Moon, Syringa and Emma are also easily the top team in the Academy... Trish and Tara will have their work cut out for them, no doubt about it. Essentially a #1 contender's match for these two, Lexi Dawson is next in line for a shot at the Academy Championship... but Rhiannon Banes will look to leapfrog her in the rankings here, seeking to knock her off and challenge for the title in May. The question now is whether Lexi can hold off the challenge of the Welsh brawler... It's pure, raw power that will fight for the Academy Championship this month, as Helena Lundgren clashes with Jessica Kimblee. Helena's been an incredible force since her Academy debut, but Jessica has proven time and again that she just might be the strongest woman ever to set foot in the Academy... and taking the title from her will not be easy. Capping off the night, the Academy Tag Team Champions, Asha Nelson and Maria Marella, will have to bring their best... they're taking on the always-dangerous duo of Fiona Walsh and Virginia Caldwell. And while the champions have proven themselves lately, with an incredibly successful victory and tremendous improvement since their debuts, do they really have what it takes to stop the shooters? Fiona and Virginia are eager to prove themselves as the best team in the Academy... and there may not be anyone able to stop that.

Another one down, and with plenty of mix between drawn-out brawls and quick, decisive victories. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/991736692Youtube: youtu.be/sVVD4aLMVKQQuick Results Sarah Silvers def. Melody Bryant Kasey Ryder def. Vanessa Saunders Rin Jokusato and Fuyuki Takenaka vs. Wild and Wilde Inc. went to a time-limit draw Trinity Knight def. Allie Katt Samantha Steele def. Shelly Hotlips Nana Yoon def. Y-Pac Rule XXX def. The Foundation Lexi Dawson def. Rhiannon Banes Helena Lundgren def. Jessica Kimblee to become the NEW Academy Champion Virginia Caldwell and Fiona Walsh def. Asha Nelson and Maria Marella to become the NEW Academy Tag Team Champions Write-ups Melody Bryant continues to have some trouble finding her footing again on her own after falling to Jessica Kimblee last month. While she scored a tag victory at this month's house show, Sarah Silvers absolutely picked her apart here, and leads us to wonder what Melody needs to do to get back on track. An early highlight of the night, with these two just laying into each other with everything they had... Vanessa throwing so many of her signature kicks that it looked like Kasey wouldn't be able to fight back. But fight back she did, and she showed some serious skill in twisting Vanessa around into a rana pin, scoring a well-earned victory. Some miscommunications with the usual tag rules led to this one going the distance, but this was a wild one clear to the end, with Wild and Wilde simply unable to finish this one, and the Cassandra Pro duo staying well on top of things right up to the finish. Trinity Knight's path through Rule XXX brought her to Allie Katt, a match she clearly felt she had to win... and win she did, evening out her record against the stable that's quickly become the source of her frustrations. She absolutely destroyed Allie Katt's arms in this one, but it was a full-speed running Meteora that scored the win for her, and now her sights are firmly locked on Tara Helmsley. There was no hesitation from Samantha Steele tonight. The newest Academy powerhouse was a wrecking ball, showing off every ounce of strength she had to bear against Shelly Hotlips, and she'd eventually crank Shelly into a brutal Scorpion Deathlock to finish things off. Nana Yoon is still, very clearly, the best of the best in the Academy. Y-Pac had no answers here... Nana was her usual self, showing that perhaps she just might be on a completely different level... while she isn't invincible, she's sure as hell a top talent and very, very tough to knock off. With three straight losses by Rule XXX, it was up to the leaders to step in and once again show them how it's done. And against the Foundation, perhaps the undisputed top team in the Academy, Tara Helmsley and Trish Michaels absolutely did that. A stunning defeat for the Foundation coming on the heels of their biggest victory ever, but a Heartbreaker superkick from Trish put this one away. Lexi Dawson wasn't about to be outdone by her tag partner tonight. Nana was good... Lexi might've even been better against Rhiannon Banes here, ensuring herself a championship match next month, displaying some serious speed and dominance to take that top spot. Lexi will have her work cut out for her, though... she's squaring off against Helena Lundgren, who matched Jessica Kimblee power-against-power, and crushed the reigning champion with her signature powerbomb. Helena becomes the thirteenth different woman to hold the Academy Championship... but Lexi will be out to become #14 in a hurry. Try as they might, Asha and Maria ultimately fell short in their first defense, with Virginia Caldwell proving a difference-maker with her brutal submission game. Still, this was a hard-fought match that saw Asha showing a ton of her improvement... a year ago, even, nobody would've considered her to be anywhere close to her opponents in this match. Could Asha bounce back and have a breakout moment soon?

A message from Lightning Pro Standing in front of a podium, L-Pro Chairman, Shima Ito is seen, wearing a grey suit, holding a microphone. To his left, Rei Hasegawa and Saburo Aoki Jr. stand, Hasegawa clad in a formal white dress and Aoki in a leather jacket and black jeans. To his right stands the other half of Rei's Sparks, Yuki Okamura, wearing a Blackwood Academy tank top and short pink shorts.
Shima Ito: (Translated from Japanese) <I am announcing here that the relationship between Lightning Pro and the Blackwood Academy will be renewed today as Yuki Okamura will become the next member of our roster to join the Academy. Lightning Pro has found prior success with this collaboration and we expect that Miss Okamura will continue this history. Yuki Okamura was an outstanding amateur wrestler before she signed with the L-Pro Dojo and has shown much potential in her time with our promotion. We believe that this is the essential next step in her career and that the Academy will provide an invaluable experience.>
Rei Hasegawa: <My dear Yuki, time does fly along, does it not? It seems just like yesterday when you were a fresh eyed girl with stars in her eyes. I can say for certain that your life will change with this move, as mine did. If the Academy could instruct even a person as myself that no amount of potential is realized without humble effort, then I sincerely believe it will work wonders for someone as dedicated as yourself.>
Saburo Aoki Jr: <Yuki. Go punish 'em. Wish I was joining you, with all the babes over there, but since I'm not a babe, they're not letting me in the doors. Guess someone's gotta look out for our White Hot queen over here in Kyoto.>
Yuki Okamura: <You guys know I can still work both shows, right?>
Rei: <That is the truth, verily, it is. But alas, you will be spending all of your time otherwise in the United States and as such, your wonderful friends over here in Kyoto will be missing your constant presence. After all, I can hardly ask poor Saburo to carry all of my precious luggage, can I?>
Saburo: <My back already cries out in pain. But I will do whatever I have to do.>
Yuki: <Aw, you two. Seriously, gonna miss being around. But I'm beyond excited here! Because there's a whole new world out there for me to slam around! Hey, Blackwood Academy! You never saw someone like The Punishment! You wanna know why I'm called that?>
Saburo: <Because you decided that's your nickname and you work it into every promo.>
Yuki: <Yeah! Uh, hey!>
Okamura steps around the podium, and Shima Ito to punch Aoki in the shoulder.
Saburo: <Ow. That hurt.>
Rei: <Do continue, dear.>
Yuki: <But yeah! You wanna know why I made that my nickname? It's because I think that every time someone steps into the ring against me, it's not a reward for them, it's a punishment! Because I'll throw them around and slam them down like they've never been slammed before! I know the Academy has some of the best trainers in the world, Rei's told me over and over how good they are, and also...yeah, she also told me not to say that she said that in public, but it's too late now! But anyway, I can't wait to train with them, and be the best Yuki Okamura that this world has ever seen! I'm gonna make you proud, Rei! Look out, Academy, you're gonna get The Punishment!>

Another house show down, and another addition to the roster making their debut... with another planned to be on the way for this month's live show, with any luck. BUT FIRST Quick Results Asha Nelson def. Trish Michaels Melody Bryant def. Yuki Okamura The Foundation def. Wild and Wilde Inc. Maria Marella def. Rin Jokusato Trinity Knight def. Y-Pac and Rhiannon Banes Tara Helmsley def. Fuyuki Takenaka The Dream City Bandits vs. Steele and Silvers went to a time-limit draw Kasey Ryder def. Fiona Walsh Lexi Dawson and Nana Yoon def. Vanessa Saunders and Helena Lundgren Jessica Kimblee def. Virginia Caldwell Write-ups It took these two a little bit to get rolling, but once they did, this was a red-hot opener. Everything short of Trish's Heartbreaker superkick came out here, with Asha laying in a couple of cutters until she managed to find an opening to cinch in the Ankle Lock, picking up a big submission victory. The Punishment has arrived, though Melody Bryant gave her quite the greeting by going suplex-for-suplex with her straight out the gate. This didn't have much in the way of finesse, ultimately, with these two women flat-out tossing each other around the ring without hesitation until Melody landed a vicious Capture Suplex to score the win. Once again, the undisputed top team in the Academy conquers yet another, as Emma and Syringa just continue to rack up the wins even after no longer being Academy Tag Team Champions. The reigning Trios Champions, however, still look absolutely unstoppable... it may only be a matter of time before they're back at the top. This was as efficient as we've ever seen Maria Marella in the ring, which may lead some to think it's time she returned to focusing on singles competition. That said, she didn't escape this match without at least some shenanigans from Rin Jokusato, who scored probably a dozen flash pin attempts throughout the course of this match until Maria forced the submission. Trinity Knight's momentum is right back to being red-hot, as she sweeps this three-way in her usual fashion: first, avenging her prior loss to Y-Pac by locking in an armbar on the Rule XXX member, then by crushing Rhiannon Banes with a brutal Dragon Suplex. Trinity's looking very, very dangerous ahead of her clash with Tara Helmsley... a match that will now determine June's challenger for the Academy Championship! Tara Helmsley doesn't look like she's going to be a pushover later this month. She weathered Fuyuki's powerhouse offense and despite a few moments of perhaps getting too excited, she pulled off an impressive victory, setting the stage for one hell of a clash at June's live show... the Rule XXX leader gunning for a shot at the Academy Championship. These two teams simply could not, and would not keep it in the ring. The action spilled outside half a dozen times, and all efforts to try and finish were stopped either by poor positioning, or the incredible speed of Sarah Silvers. Nobody got the upper hand here... these two may meet again, perhaps with no time limit in play. Two former Academy Champions clashed, and Kasey Ryder ultimately came out ahead, weathering the dangerous submissions and technical groundwork of Fiona Walsh. It was the devastating kick that Kasey's made one of her signatures that scored the win here, and Kasey picks up a big win... in what's shaping up to be the biggest month of her young career. It could be a sign of things to come: Lexi Dawson scores the pinfall over the reigning Academy Champion ahead of her challenge, and could make Helena Lundgren's reign a short one if she can repeat the feat later this month. But this was a wild, unpredictable tag match... and Lexi won't have Nana Yoon's backup for that match, only her own skill and agility against the champion's raw power... Pure, crushing dominance from the former Academy Champion, who plowed through Virginia Caldwell without breaking a sweat. This was flat-out one of Jessica Kimblee's best showings, and a definite sign that despite no longer being Academy Champion, she may very well still be one of the Academy's best, beyond any doubt.

We're coming up on the show tomorrow (yes, that's right, we're moving off of Saturdays for the live show, and shifting to Thursdays instead), so here we go. Big one this month with the roster having expanded slightly. Angie Starr vs. Sarah Silvers
Yuki Okamura vs. Samantha Steele
The Foundation vs. Wild and Wilde Inc.
Maria Marella vs. Shelly Hotlips
Vanessa Saunders vs. Trish Michaels
Allie Katt vs. Asha Nelson
Rin Jokusato and Fuyuki Takenaka vs. Melody Bryant and Rhiannon Banes
Nana Yoon vs. Y-Pac
Trinity Knight vs. Tara Helmsley
Kasey Ryder and Jessica Kimblee vs. Virginia Caldwell and Fiona Walsh for the Academy Tag Team Championships
Lexi Dawson vs. Helena Lundgren for the Academy Championship It's another big debut for the Academy to open up the night, with Angie Starr making her arrival against Sarah Silvers. It's unlikely to be an easy one with Silvers being one of the fastest, most dynamic faces in the Academy, but we'll get a sense for what Starr is capable of and figure out the best opponents for the future. The other newcomer to the Academy, Yuki Okamura, had her first match in an Academy ring earlier this month against Melody Bryant in a losing effort... this time, she crosses paths with the powerhouse Samantha Steele, in what's guaranteed to be a massive clash of raw strength. Can the Punishment bounce back and bring down one of the brightest young names in the Academy? The top team in the Academy (it's hard to dispute!) steps in against one of the longer-tenured duos around, as the Foundation squares off with Wild and Wilde Inc. No doubt Heather and Josie will want to pull off a big win right here, as beating the Foundation almost always seems to signal a huge opportunity. Maria Marella is seemingly back to a singles focus lately, and she'll be the first one of the night to take on a member of Rule XXX, as she gets Shelly Hotlips in the hopes of keeping her momentum up after having lost the Academy Tag Team Championships. Vanessa Saunders gets the next nod against Rule XXX, who all appear to be running solo this month. She'll take on Trish Michaels, and the former kickboxer will test her kicks against the devastating Heartbreaker superkick Trish has become known for. This could be an early highlight of the night as Vanessa looks to raise her stock and finally live up to expectations... Asha Nelson has looked like a new woman in 2021, and here against Allie Katt, she'll seek to keep that up as she tries to rise up through the singles rankings. Allie, however, has often been a roadblock towards those who want to get to the top... can Asha pull this one off and break through? A #1 contender's match in all but name, the winning team here is guaranteed the next shot at the Academy Tag Team Championships in June. Rin Jokusato and Fuyuki Takenaka have been a surprisingly effective duo as of late, but they're going up against Melody Bryant and Rhiannon Banes... a team that's admittedly had their issues lately. But could this be the moment that they finally get their due? Nana Yoon remains likely one of the best in the Academy right now, and it could only be a matter of time before she's back in contention for the Academy Championship once again. Standing in her way this time is Y-Pac, who's more than capable of picking up wins against nearly anyone on the roster... but can she pull this one off, knowing how incredible Nana is? Trinity Knight has been anticipating this match from the beginning of her fight with Rule XXX. Two wins, two losses... a match with Tara Helmsley decides it all, with Trinity determined to take down the leader and stand tall at the end. And as an added bonus, whoever wins here will challenge for the Academy Championship in June... Kasey Ryder and Jessica Kimblee have both held the Academy Championship, both having been at the very top of the Academy... recently, at that. But they have yet to claim the Academy Tag Team Championships. That may change this month as they square off with Fiona Walsh and Virginia Caldwell, who were dominant last month in claiming the tag titles from Asha and Maria. Kasey and Jessica both won their singles matches against Fiona and Virginia earlier this month, but will that translate into a title change right here? Capping off the night, it's a battle of traditional speed vs. power for the Academy Championship... Lexi Dawson is looking for her first piece of singles gold, while Helena Lundgren aims to stay on top, having beaten Jessica Kimblee to get to this point last month. Lexi's speed and agility has carried her to a lot of victories in her time with the Academy, but is she fast enough to take down the Swedish Powerhouse?

Wild night from the Academy this month, and some lessons learned as well. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/1029895032Youtube: youtu.be/Aov1DcWpOzoQuick Results Sarah Silvers def. Angie Starr Samantha Steele def. Yuki Okamura The Foundation def. Wild and Wilde Inc. Shelly Hotlips vs. Maria Marella was stopped for reasons Vanessa Saunders def. Trish Michaels Asha Nelson def. Allie Katt Melody Bryant and Rhiannon Banes def. Rin Jokusato and Fuyuki Takenaka Nana Yoon def. Y-Pac Trinity Knight def. Tara Helmsley Kasey Ryder and Jessica Kimblee def. Virginia Caldwell and Fiona Walsh to become the NEW Academy Tag Team Champions Lexi Dawson def. Helena Lundgren to become the NEW Academy Champion Write-ups Angie Starr made an instant impression in her debut here against Sarah Silvers. These two were electric against each other, speed matching perfectly with speed, and though Silvers would come away with the win, there was no doubt that Starr has made an immediate impact, looking very good in her first Academy match. Samantha Steele had no interest in giving Yuki Okamura even the slightest chance to fight her way into this match. This was an absolutely monstrous effort from Steele, who crushed Okamura with her now-signature bearhug suplex, and never looked like she was in danger for even a second. The top team in the Academy just keeps getting better. The Foundation was at their best here, and like we've seen so many other times, Diosa Syringa set the stage for Emma Travers to finish things up... rolling the leg before locking in Surgical Precision on Heather Wild to secure the submission victory. "Hey, that's not a results screen." No, because there is no result. Only crotch chops. Eternal crotch chops. This was basically all we got until the twenty-minute mark hit with no change, and the match was called off right there. my brain hurts Vanessa Saunders went to work against Trish Michaels, in what seemed like a match that was right up her alley... and then, this turned into an all-out brawl. Probably the hardest-fought match of the entire night, these two pushed each other to their limits, with Vanessa kicking out of a Heartbreaker superkick, and finally coming back with a series of kicks herself to score the victory. Asha Nelson was no-nonsense in this one, and though Allie Katt brought some of her deceptive power into play, Asha didn't blink, staying on the offensive whenever she could and landing a fantastic cutter to score the victory, and once again make it clear that she's not the fresh-faced rookie she was throughout the past couple of years... she's starting to find herself. Never look past Rin and Fuyuki if you want to win. Melody and Rhiannon might've made that mistake for part of this match, with Fuyuki's power proving a difference-maker... but Melody Bryant very quickly reminded everyone why she's one of the best rising talents in the Academy, landing a colossal diving elbow to score an important win, and position her team for a shot at the tag titles next month. Ignore the screenshot. It wasn't a throat chop. It was a damn Perfect-plex. Someone was drunk tonight. At any rate, strange nomenclature aside, Nana Yoon was just as good here as she's ever been against Y-Pac, scoring a big-time victory and staying firmly near the top of the rankings. It might just be a matter of time before Nana's won her third Academy Championship. Trinity Knight has had her eyes on taking down Rule XXX for a few months now, after taking back-to-back losses against the stable and venting her frustrations more than a few times. Two victories against the rest of Rule XXX led her to this moment: the final showdown with Tara Helmsley. And Tara proved easily the most stubborn of the group, refusing to tap out to Trinity's armbars, forcing her way out of everything the rookie could do. But Trinity would not be denied... not with her spot on the line, and the promise of an Academy Championship match if she could overcome Tara. A brutal facebuster led to a tight, seemingly inescapable pin, and Trinity finally comes out the other side of her one-woman war victorious. Kasey Ryder could very well be on the same level as Nana Yoon in the Academy. And alongside Jessica Kimblee, she might just be unstoppable. Virginia and Fiona have been a consistently dangerous team from day one, but they just couldn't keep pace this time around, and Kasey scored a well-timed kick that laid out Virginia, securing the tag titles for her team and making both her and Jessica members of the somewhat-exclusive "have been both Academy Champion and Academy Tag Champion" club. Lexi Dawson was out to make a statement tonight, and she absolutely blitzed Helena Lundgren, never letting the Swede get up to full-bore. A huge Lightning Spiral led to a tight pin, and Lexi Dawson also finds herself joining the exclusive club of having won both Academy championships... and only the second of that club to win the tag titles first.

Another house show down for the Academy. Bit of a rough day on my end but I'm doing better as the day goes on, so there's that. And here's this. Quick Results Angie Starr def. Melody Bryant Yuki Okamura def. Sarah Silvers Vanessa Saunders and Helena Lundgren def. Wild and Wilde Inc. Rin Jokusato def. Maria Marella Fuyuki Takenaka def. Tara Helmsley The Foundation def. Virginia Caldwell and Fiona Walsh Rhiannon Banes def. Kasey Ryder Y-Pac def. Samantha Steele and Asha Nelson Jessica Kimblee def. Trish Michaels Lexi Dawson and Nana Yoon def. The Dream City Bandits Priya Mallaya def. Trinity Knight Write-ups Angie Starr's debut at last month's live show might have seen her come up short, but she definitely didn't let it bother her here against Melody Bryant, staying a step ahead nearly the entire match. Melody tried to fight her way back into this with a pair of Perfect-plexes, but Angie powered out and ultimately was too quick, and scored the impressive pinfall victory for her first Academy win. The Punishment has finally arrived. Yuki Okamura brought her impressive blend of power and technique in against the most agile and dynamic member of the Academy in Sarah Silvers, staying focused against Sarah's relentless offense and eventually keeping her technique in play, grounding Silvers and beating her with a very skilled jackknife pin from guard. Make no mistake, Vanessa Saunders and Helena Lundgren are still a tremendously dangerous duo. Still, Wild and Wilde Inc. made this a fight to the finish, with Josie Wilde determined to throw everything she had... but Vanessa's Michinoku Driver would prove the decisive blow, folding Josie up for the pinfall. By now we know that "unorthodox" only scratches the surface of Rin Jokusato's style in the ring. This was a flash-pin-fest, and Rin was determined to make it work, eventually scoring the win with a wild springboard that might be the most impressive thing we've ever seen her do. A late surge of offense from Tara Helmsley proved not quite enough to stop the momentum of Fuyuki Takenaka, who came into this match with her usual measure of power, throwing Tara around the ring almost at her leisure when she was on the attack, and countering an attempted big move from the corner into a huge avalanche bomb to take the win. Can anyone stop the Foundation? The reigning Trios Champions also remain easily the Academy's most dominant tag team, an absolutely electric duo that once again proved their talent against Fiona and Virginia, as Diosa Syringa demonstrated her devastating Strangle Hold Gamma as one of the single biggest moves in the Academy's history. An absolute sprint of a match, and who would have expected anything less? Rhiannon Banes was relentless here, and although Kasey tried to outpace her, the Welsh brawler eventually turned up the heat and landed her crushing powerbomb to score the pinfall, and ensure some momentum going into the tag title match later this month. Y-Pac is both talented and opportunistic, and this match proved both in spades. The "opportunistic" part came when Samantha Steele landed a crushing bomb on Asha Nelson, leaving both women down... and Y-Pac quickly leapt to the top rope, hitting a big-time leg drop on Steele and eliminating the powerhouse from the match. She then went into a huge outside brawl with Asha until the action spilled back inside, and she'd wipe out Nelson with one last move to take the match and score a huge victory for Rule XXX. An intensely even match clear up to the end, with Trish Michaels landing a Heartbreaker Superkick only for Kimblee to kick out and just keep coming. It wasn't Jessica's power that won the day here, but her pure athleticism, a big-time Frog Splash scoring the victory in a match that really only came about thanks to some miscommunications (Read: I should not speed-book cards when I'm already tired as hell) Lexi Dawson has far less patience for the shenanigans of Shelly Hotlips than Maria Marella does, clearly. Shelly attempted to stall out the match on two occasions only to catch a vicious chop from the Iowa cheerleader, and alongside Nana Yoon, Lexi would take control and hit a Superstar Elbow to score the victory and keeping Lexi looking very, very strong ahead of her Academy Championship defense. Trinity Knight does not have a tag team partner, nor does she want one. A lone wolf among the Academy roster, Trinity nevertheless needed an opponent that wasn't the woman she's challenging for the Academy Championship in two weeks... and so, the Academy reached out and received one of Valkyrie Pro's most popular names. Priya Mallaya proceeded to put on perhaps the best match of the show with Trinity, as the Academy upstart zeroed in on her opponent's arms (as usual) and, ultimately, left Priya in clear pain as she could barely keep her arms up... so she improvised, and nailed Trinity with a Shining Hip Attack, posing for the crowd and scoring the victory. But Trinity can't be overlooked here: this was a fantastic showing for the Academy rookie against a more experienced talent.

We've got a somewhat interesting show for the Academy tomorrow night, with a couple of developments: firstly, that Emma Travers will have the night off after Monday's Trios Championship match to get a little bit of a break (it's a busy, busy week), and with the participants in the Academy Battle Royal set, we'll see a little bit of a preview of that throughout the card in a handful of matches. This had the side effect of only really leaving room for two tag team matches, so the card certainly looks a bit long, but it'll probably move at a fairly decent pace since most of it's singles matches. Yuki Okamura vs. Trish Michaels
Rin Jokusato vs. Maria Marella
Shelly Hotlips vs. Diosa Syringa
Sarah Silvers vs. Angie Starr
Vanessa Saunders and Helena Lundgren vs. Virginia Caldwell and Fiona Walsh
Allie Katt vs. Fuyuki Takenaka
Asha Nelson vs. Samantha Steele
Josie Wilde vs. Y-Pac
Heather Wild vs. Tara Helmsley
Nana Yoon vs. Eve Blackwood
Trinity Knight vs. Lexi Dawson for the Academy Championship
Melody Bryant and Rhiannon Banes vs. Kasey Ryder and Jessica Kimblee for the Academy Tag Team Championships Starting off the night, Yuki Okamura steps into the ring with Trish Michaels in a match that's surely going to test the young newcomer. Yuki's shown some flashes of brilliance so far, but she'll have to find her best against Trish, who's been a standout among her Rule XXX stablemates. Rin Jokusato flies solo this month as she squares off with Maria Marella, and there's no doubt that this match is almost certainly going to result in flash pins. So many flash pins. It's not gonna stop. Emma Travers might have the night off, but Diosa Syringa has declined to do the same (likely because she doesn't have referee duties to attend to on Monday.) So she'll face off with Shelly Hotlips, one-half of the Dream City Bandits, and she's almost certain to put Shelly to the test. From what little we've seen of Angie Starr so far, we know that she's very, very quick on her feet... so she's got someone just as eager to do the same. Sarah Silvers has made a name for herself as one of the fastest, most agile members of the Academy, but can Angie keep up? The first of just two tag matches on this show, it's something of a reunion: former HONOO talents stepping up with their respective partners to try and prove they're the better woman. Vanessa and Helena have been an incredibly dangerous team, but Virginia and Fiona are former Academy tag champions... The first of the battle royal "preview" matches, Allie Katt squares off with Fuyuki Takenaka. It remains to be seen if Allie can stand up to the raw power that Fuyuki brings to the table... and yet, the Rule XXX star has definitely been a force every time we've seen her in the ring. A battle of technique against raw power, Asha Nelson seeks to bring down the powerhouse that is Samantha Steele, with both set to take part in the Academy Battle Royal at Sky's the Limit. Asha's become a far more talented wrestler in recent months, and she could very well have what it takes to step up here against a very tough foe. Josie Wilde and Y-Pac will be the third of the battle royal preview matches. We know by now how much of a talented brawler Josie is, and Y-Pac is a bit of an unpredictable presence in the ring... this could be the biggest wildcard of the night. Heather Wild, aspiring rockstar, caps off the battle royal matches against the leader of Rule XXX, Tara Helmsley. Two of the longest-tenured names in the Academy look to gain momentum ahead of Sky's the Limit... but only one can come out ahead. Nana Yoon is moving on from the Academy after this month, and her final match in an Academy ring will be against none other than the founder and head trainer, Eve Blackwood, by request. We haven't seen Eve in the ring for quite some time, but we'll see how that long layoff affects her in the ring against one of the greatest talents ever to come through the Academy. Trinity Knight has been absolutely electric from the moment she set foot in the Academy, roaring through the ranks, going to war against Rule XXX and now, having beaten Tara Helmsley, earning her way into an Academy Championship match with Lexi Dawson. Lexi's on her way out of the Academy as well, but don't think that leads to her taking this match lightly: if she retains here, she'll remain for the sole purpose of defending the Academy Championship until someone can beat her. Trinity, though, is determined to ensure that Lexi doesn't need to stick around... Finally, the main event this month sees the Academy Tag Team Championships on the line. Melody Bryant and Rhiannon Banes have fought for months to try and get to the top, and they'll once again have a chance to get there... but to accomplish their goal of becoming champions, they'll have to take down Kasey Ryder and Jessica Kimblee, who have been maybe one of the toughest teams to hold the tag titles yet. This won't be an easy match... but it's going to be one hell of a match, regardless.

Wild one tonight, with plenty to look forward to for next month as a result. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/1059763449Youtube: youtu.be/ehux-JpQfbYQuick Results Trish Michaels def. Yuki Okamura Maria Marella def. Rin Jokusato Shelly Hotlips def. Diosa Syringa Sarah Silvers def. Angie Starr Virginia Caldwell and Fiona Walsh def. Vanessa Saunders and Helena Lundgren Allie Katt def. Fuyuki Takenaka Samantha Steele def. Asha Nelson Y-Pac def. Josie Wilde Tara Helmsley def. Heather Wild Nana Yoon def. Eve Blackwood Lexi Dawson def. Trinity Knight to retain the Academy Championship Melody Bryant and Rhiannon Banes def. Kasey Ryder and Jessica Kimblee to become the NEW Academy Tag Team Champions Write-ups Simply put, Trish Michaels got out to a lead mid-way through this match and never seemed to look back. The first Heartbreaker superkick set the tone, and Trish eventually landed a second one out of the blue to take down Yuki. This match promised flash pins, and we certainly got a lot of them from both sides... but it was a late move from Maria, a sneaky armbar, that picked up the win, slipping past Rin Jokusato to help get Maria back on track. One of the fiercest matches of the night, and maybe a signature victory for Shelly Hotlips in fighting through Diosa Syringa and picking up a spectacular victory, setting the tone for Rule XXX's fantastic night. This lived up to expectations, with both Silvers and Starr proving to be absolutely electric as they showed off their incredible agility. Silvers ultimately came out ahead, but this was a wildly fast-paced match that seemed like it could swing in either direction at any moment. For a match that might have been one of the first meetings between Vanessa Saunders and Virginia Caldwell, neither woman wound up involved in the finish, as Fiona Walsh took center stage in forcing Helena Lundgren to submit. Virginia and Fiona remain one of the toughest teams in the Academy, easily making their way back up the ranks yet again. Allie Katt kept the Rule XXX train going with a big win over Fuyuki Takenaka, pushing through Fuyuki's raw power and picking up a fairly dominant win. Rule XXX wasn't even done yet... As much improvement as Asha Nelson has shown in her time with the Academy, Samantha Steele was just too much for her this time around, with power coming out on top. A crushing shoulder tackle put an end to this one and gave Steele a huge victory. Y-Pac didn't let up for a second against Josie Wilde as this one turned into an all-out brawl, and Rule XXX moved to 4-0 on the night when Y-Pac scored another big win. The pressure was on the leader to finish the job, and Tara Helmsley didn't disappoint, as she came roaring out at Heather Wild to score a stunning victory... even if she got a little too eager to finish the match. We bid farewell to Nana Yoon in the Academy as she prepares to move to AFW, and what a match to go out on: scoring a big-time, hard-fought win against head trainer Eve Blackwood. Eve's attempts at the Fisherman's Suplex continued to fall short, while Nana only needed one of her own to pick up the win: yes, a Fisherman's Suplex, not a Brainbuster, you silly game. Lexi Dawson isn't ready to give up her title just yet. Even though she's leaving the Academy to join AFW, Lexi came roaring out of the gate at Trinity Knight and never let up for a second, and while Trinity pushed as hard as she could, she ultimately came up short... and Lexi Dawson will stick around for just a while longer to continue defending the Academy Championship. The Academy Tag Team Championships have been tricky to hold onto lately, with Melody Bryant proving once again that no team is safe from flash roll-ups. A stunning effort as Melody, contrary to her usual tactics, scores a victory much like her older sister, Anna, is known for... and she claims her first piece of Academy gold with it.

The show flew by tonight, so we got a little bit of extra. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/1095330004Youtube: youtu.be/nKIlATZ24KkQuick Results Helena Lundgren def. Trinity Knight Angie Starr def. Trish Michaels The Dream City Bandits def. Wild and Wilde Inc. Jessica Kimblee def. Vanessa Saunders Rin Jokusato def. Maria Marella and Yuki Okamura Y-Pac def. Kasey Ryder Virginia Caldwell and Fiona Walsh def. The Foundation Tara Helmsley def. Asha Nelson Samantha Steele and Sarah Silvers def. Rhiannon Banes and Melody Bryant to become the NEW Academy Tag Team Champions Lexi Dawson def. Fuyuki Takenaka to retain the Academy Championship Bonus: Keiko Maeda def. Priya Mallaya Write-ups Trinity gave it a good shot, but Helena Lundgren was not about to roll over for her, taking the upper hand and absolutely wiping her out with a brutal top-rope German Suplex to score the win. Angie Starr just might be starting to find her footing in the Academy, putting on one hell of a showing here against Trish Michaels and handing Rule XXX their only loss of the night, finishing things off with an incredible diving splash from across half the length of the ring! The Bandits strike again after a wild match that went right up to the wire... but Shelly Hotlips would steal it with her finisher, taking down Heather Wild and scoring a big win for the Rule XXX squad. Absolute dominance from one of the toughest and strongest women in the Academy. Jessica Kimblee just did not let up for a moment, wiping out Vanessa Saunders and reminding the former kickboxer that she's still got a long way to go before she's able to claim herself as one of the Academy's top talents. Yuki Okamura got a solid chance to show off her skills here, catching Maria Marella in a counter roll-up, but Rin Jokusato would one-up her a few moments later, hitting a surprisingly spectacular pin of her own to pick up the win in this three-way contest. Despite her new look and more focused moveset, Kasey Ryder just could not get anything going against Y-Pac, who easily dominated this match and came away with yet another Rule XXX victory. Down to the last moments of the match, this was a wild one, with nobody willing to give in until the very end, submissions flying in all directions... but Virginia Caldwell finally secured one of her signature submissions on Emma Travers, who failed to endure any further... and the dominant team of submission artists once again comes away with a victory. Asha Nelson was in the midst of a roaring comeback after a rough start to this match that saw Tara busting out most of her biggest moves early on... but Tara found her moment, and hit a colossal facebuster out of the corner to take the win and finally secure her place as #1 contender for the Academy Championship. Silvers and Steele have firmly announced their arrival with this victory, seeing them go face-to-face with long-time Academy stalwarts Rhiannon and Melody. It was the speed of Silvers that won the day in the end, roaring out of the corner with a High Speed Mistica, and forcing Melody to tap out, securing the victory and the Academy Tag Team Championships. Lexi Dawson is not ready to give up her championship, as she pushed through to take down Fuyuki Takenaka in a fast-paced matchup. Lexi simply seems like the best in the Academy despite having officially graduated... who's got what it takes to dethrone her now?
