Tornado in Kansas City. Get any damage by you?

Thankfully, I'm fine. That twister hit about 45 miles west from where I live. I did hear the sirens go off last night, as there was also a threat of tornadic activity just north of me, but it abated after about 20 minutes, thankfully never making it into the city proper. That's the second tornado to hit in suburban KC since 2017.

Very glad that you are okay, Marsh ๐
It sounds like a terrible weather situation happening right now in the midwest.
Hope everyone around here from those parts are safe.

It's been officially hot enough now for the last two weeks I am looking forward to fall temperatures. So hot now I can only go walking early in the morning and after dark at night.

If it makes you feel better, itโs -7 C (19 F) and snowing here as well. Usually the snow holds off until Halloween night ( no shit, itโs the oddest thing...), but last year and this year, it has snowed early. Itโs supposed to be less than zero F early tomorrow morning with he windchill, and itโs not even November yet. Awesome. ๐

Snow here in northeast Wisconsin as well, but only like 1 to 3 inches. They're not sticking on pavement though. Still warm for that.
We do have another round of snow coming on Halloween night, which should make things interesting for trick or treating.

It definitely feels like winter around here too. No snow in my part of the state (the panhandle got some) but we're expecting freezing rain later. Yay.
I'm just glad I don't have to get out in it for anything.

No snow here either, but we are getting morning frosts and having to scrape the cars off. I'm actually getting my winter tires put on toward the end of November. I waited until early December last year and everyone was so booked up with appointments I ended up waiting two weeks.

We now actually have snow on the ground. Wasn't expecting it this early as it's been years since we had November snow that actually stayed on the ground. Came out of work on Friday and it was just pelting down. I expected it to be gone by today, but it's still here so I guess after the holiday I am going to get my appointment to get the winter tires on.

Real deal winter here, too. 20 cm since Friday evening, and even with all of the winter tires and all wheel drive vehicles (because money canโt replace ignorance of the basic laws of physics unfortunately), shit tons of accidents. It stopped snowing, but yeah, fall to winter overnight, and highs of minus 13 C. At least this year it waited until AFTER Halloween.

Wow, you guys already have snow? Stay safe out there!
A winter that comes this early is hungry! The snowmen feast โ๐ฑ

The first snow has fallen here in Sweden as well, doesn't look like it's going to stop either for a few days. Didn't even have time to change to winter tires on my car yet.

Ours is actually melting now, they're calling for a rain storm in the near future though. Today is a holiday so I may not be able to make my snow tire appointment until tomorrow.
