I'm happy they're planning more venues. :) Don't get me wrong, everything else is also good. But I'm really looking forward to some new places to sim matches from. I miss that tiny arena with the ramp leading to the ring. That's my favorite venue. :)

Definitely. The old AJPW setup from Fire Pro G when wrestlers alternated entering from left and right, the basketball court/gymnasium from D and the outdoor garbage wrestling arena from Z would all be welcome additions.
I want pictures of these arenas, or videos if you will, please.

Fire Pro Wrestling D gymnasium ring. G also has this as well:
Fire Pro Wrestling Z outdoor ring at the 7:00 mark:
Left and Right entrances from the classic AJPW setup.

Man I really love the old entrances from g and the gba games. So straight and sporting without all the glam. Time and place for both types.
I really miss the prematch versus screen that pops up!

Oh The Gym is the City Hall!
I like the "dojo" for the Returns as well, a warehouse, gives a very indie feeling. i wish for its return.

On the plus side, I'm that much closer to being able to run a full FP session with either my martial arts+boxing edits or my originals, presuming that you need 150 for a full run. On the flip side...nah, I'm patient enough to wait, especially with Red Dead out and Smash Ultimate in less than a month.

Nothing has gone right since the first dev team left. He said they weren't up to the task, but they were the ones making rapid progress, and fixing many long standing series issues.

I think your number of MMA edits has surpassed that by now.

If that is the case, though, then I'm more than happy.

I recall that it came up in response to some players being concerned that you would still need to setup your game before being able to use the paid dlc immediately. The preview images Spike has posted seems to support the information as well.

I just started updating my edits yesterday (minus the kickpads I added to AJ on day one) and got a lot done today. So I'll have my roster ready whenever it drops.
I'm on the fence about what promotions to run the first time. I'm leaning between the rosters available on the Final Fire Pro version (with a few tweaks) or the ultimate version of each fed (split into eras, as in "MSG WWWF/WWF, 90s/Attitude WWF, Current WWE, NWA, WCW, etc...).
