Hey. As many of you are probably aware, I've made a few edits.
I'm debating whether I should upload my updates or not, for fear of limiting access to some edits (thousands of subs, probably few with the DLC).
Of course, updating is a no-brainer. I don't want to go the route of other makers in that I upload a new version of the edit for the DLC. That would clutter my already bogged down edit list and workshop page.

Can’t speak for everyone (as I’ve got the DLC) but I’d love to see more Otaku EDITs in my workshop - your work is terrific. Still courteous of you to think of every one of your subs, though.

I too am torn with this. I started updating all my edits but have yet to upload them because of what I have been hearing about the problems. Also for some reason I can't upload any edits at all to Steam with the update.

As space/time consuming as it is, my personal plan is to copy edits with DLC content over into a new edit, so when uploaded will be a new separate edit from the original one on the workshop. Then i'll delete the old one on my save, leaving me only the DLC version.
That'll mean the original workshop edit will be locked into that one version but any non DLC owning subs will continue to have them.

The bad part of this is if I have your edits, which I do, I have to download the new ones and go through shitty ass process of deleting all the old ones. That sux!!! :(

Please don't. The DLC has hidden DRM that regularly checks your connection. If you lose it mid-game anything made with any DLC moves or parts (including Takayama) will become unplayable.

Do what I do any time I have a hard decision to make: don't. Wait it out, see how it goes, an answer will present itself. Even if that answer turns out to be you just getting tired of one option and doing the other, even though no other circumstances have changed in the meantime.
If it still feels early and glitchy for DLC stuff, hang on until it doesn't. If things get better, or ends up seeming like there won't be any improvements, maybe the choice will be clearer or easier to make then. Especially since you have no time constraints or obligations, you can exercise the luxury of waiting some.

I was merely waiting to benefit those who may not purchase the DLC. I only updated a handful anyway. I got tons more to do, so I may just mass update once the ground has settled.

Selfishly I want to say yes as I only use your edits but I understand why you are cautious.. I’m fine waiting as I’m busy with fighting road and mass effect 2
Looking forward to the new creations you are cooking up too :)

Are you done with your collection? I noticed that your last update was back in July.
Wondering because you haven't made the women yet. I imagine that you're not planning on making them at all at this point.
