Yeah, no plans to make the women.
Not finished with anything, though. I was waiting for the update then I got super busy.

as someone who does not want to get the NJPW DLC and as the protagonist of reality I say don't do it
(seriously if you upload the changes I'll just buy the DLC to keep using your edits)

So what’s gonna happen when jr heavyweight dlc comes out? Are you gonna have an edit for each possibility? You would have to have the “no dlc” version, the “njpw dlc only” version, the “jr heavyweight dlc only” version and the “both dlc” version. That’s 4 edits of the same character. Just seems it would be easier to update the edit as the dlc comes out. If people want to stay up to date, then they need to buy the dlc.

Personally, I've been using Avenger's edits with the updated DLC parts and encounter no issues whatsoever.
It seems like a no-brainer to use the parts since they greatly embellish the edits.

Hey. As many of you are probably aware, I've made a few edits. I'm debating whether I should upload my updates or not, for fear of limiting access to some edits (thousands of subs, probably few with the DLC). Of course, updating is a no-brainer. I don't want to go the route of other makers in that I upload a new version of the edit for the DLC. That would clutter my already bogged down edit list and workshop page. I say you should. Anyone still playing or planning to continue to play will probably have gotten or will get the DLC, especially with additional DLC to come (...). And if Spike does anything regarding the accessibility it will most likely make it better.

^ That's a fair point. The DLC is only $20. It's well worth it for the extra parts and moves.

and while the situation is pretty lame, if there is an Edit that someone wants to use and now can't, THEY can be the one to copy it and remove the DLC parts.

I think one way of handling that is to have a "no-DLC" edit and an "all-DLC" edit which combines the possibility of someone having all of them. It could potentially leave someone out though (who has NJPW but not Jr.) but its a happy medium. I'm not sure what i'm going to do yet but I want some of my modding friends to still be able to use my edits so I'll probably keep the edits I already have on my Workshop DLC-move free and then make separate edits that have the new moves and upload them. Its a bit of a pain but its worth it to me. Of course, not all my edits will necessarily even have new DLC moves anyway.

Wow the NJPW DLC wrestlers look so different from the other edits. It really takes me out of the game
Smart of Spike to make some layers and moves require the DLC

I obviously can't speak for anyone else, but I would advise you, and any of the other edit makers with tons of edits uploaded to the workshop, to simply update your current edits with the DLC moves/parts instead of creating and uploading separate edits. There is exactly a zero percent chance that I will delete all of your old edits, then download and reorganize the new edits just for the DLC moves/parts. It's simply too much work and I would rather just do without. Based on comments I've seen here the past few days, including many in this very thread, I'd venture a guess that most folks feel the same way. Besides, I'm guessing more players end up with the DLC in the long run than not anyway.

I think that I meant all of the moves that come with updating to 2.0: the free update moves as well as the moves that come with the DLC packages. I think having one edit that has all of those available and one edit that has no extra moves (at least no moves made available after the 1.02 update) would be the best way of handling things. Ultimately, there's really no perfect way of dealing with this situation because someone who gets one post-2.0 DLC may not get all of the DLC and have all of the moves. But people are always free to make numerous versions of their more popular edits that are compatible for each version if they want to.

They played around with the body and head %s and I suppose the new standard black went from (77,77,77) to (50,50,50) and now to (25,25,25). I'm taking body/head size and colors into consideration with my updates. I'm moving tomorrow, so it may be some time before I have the chance to upload anything anyway.

Then you add in a couple hundred of FPCPP guys and their feds, it would take a year to weed through the crappy delete system and delete the old edits. :(

Then you add in a couple hundred of FPCPP guys and their feds, it would take a year to weed through the crappy delete system and delete the old edits. :( I actually spent three hours or so doing this last night. It started because I had downloaded the DLC updated edits that TheAvenger had uploaded, so I figured I would go ahead and see how tricky it would be to find and delete the old versions. I was for the most part successful, though there are a few left to go back and find (if I bother). I got quite into it and mostly went through deleting edits I had downloaded ages ago by lesser known creators and if I had a better version by the likes of The Avenger, Greatness GD, DJKM or Otaku then I got rid of the old versions. Of course then I ended up downloading a bunch more of Otaku's edits as well as I realized I was missing some. I determined I would be okay with multiples if they are by the aforementioned creators and I would pick and choose which edit to use based on which matches I was having.
