Gorilla Memorial Tournament: Round One Night TwoResults after Night One: Vic Baron heads to the ring to kick off the show, grabbing a mic to address the crowd…Vic drops the mic and exits the ring as the crowd chants “Gorilla” “Gorilla” “Gorilla”Kyle Anderson (Phoenix Rising) vs Cage Wageman (PCP)Recap: Night two kicked off with a bang, as two Warrior Pro outsiders battled it out, showcasing the level of talent present in both Phoenix Rising and the up and coming PCP. Cade and Kyle stood toe to toe the whole match as the action teetered back and forth until Kyle was able to hit a top rope closeline into a german suplex for the victory.
Winner: Kyle Anderson Rating: **** Maverick Reed vs Byron WorthyRecap: After all the drama from night one, it was no surprise that Byron Worthy came out alone to the ring in this one. What was surprising was just how impressive he was against a red hot Maverick Reed, who seemed like he may have been looking past the rookie into round two. Worthy dominated from bell to bell, cutting off Mavericks offense and eventually scoring the impressive victory.
Winner: Byron Worthy Rating:*** Robino (iWe) vs Danny AngeloRecap: This was a tough draw for Danny Angelo, getting matched up with the former 2 time iWe champion. Robino seemed to control the match from the start, and though Angelo made it interesting at times getting a couple of close near falls, the veteran weathered the storm and picked up a fairly strong opening round victory.
Winner: Robino Rating:*** The Jackson Hole Outlaws vs Cogburn RanchRecap: This wasn’t a match. This was a literal bar room brawl. Both sides went at it the whole match, only mildly obeying any kind of semblance of rules. At times it was difficult to pick out who the “legal” man was, as all six men were constantly brawling inside and outside of the ring. Eventually the time limit bell rang, though it seemed unclear if either side noticed or cared.
Winner: DRAW Rating:****
After the match security needed to be sent down to separate the two teams, with both Lil Lariato and Doc Wyatt jawing back and forth. Before a full split could be managed, Doc spit in Lariato’s face causing a brand new brawl between both teams that continued as the show was taken off the air… After the show, Lefty McDaniel tweeted out the following message:

Directly after the show:
Duke Cogburn and Cowboy Johnston both have a strong hold of Lil' Lariato, Cogburn using his handkerchief to wipe off the rapper's face from Doc Wyatt's vile instigation. For his part, Lariato unleashes a perpetual string of verbalized fury that echoes throughout the arena
Lil' Lariato: You punk ass motherfuckin' piece of shit! Come right over here, try that again and I'll rip your ass licking tongue out! Just meet me somewhere! Meet me somewhere, bitch! Fuck the belt, meet me in Houston, on the motherfuckin' streets! You gonna get me a 187 for what I'm gonna do to you now, fancy boy!
Duke Cogburn: Calm the hell down.
Cogburn renews his grip on Lariato, who again lunges at the departing Doc Wyatt.
Lariato: Just try me, Doc, just try me again, you'll get so fucked up your ancestors gonna...
Duke: I said calm the hell down!
Lil' Lariato gives a venomous glance over at Duke, who shrugs his shoulders with a frustraed sigh.
Duke: I get it. That jackass over there deserves everything you're going to give him. But save it for the match.
Cowboy Johnston: An ah'm not gonna let you face this one alone! Doc's a snake, an' yer gonna need all the backup you can git! Duke's right, yer best savin' this fer later. Beat 'im down, take his belt, make 'im hurt even better fer that!
Lariato: Yeah, you hear that, Doc, pullin' that shit's the worst mistake you ever made. Ever!
The strained anger on Lariato's face finally fades away, replaced with a cocky sneer.
Lariato: You played the game, you pulled the lever, you thought you were smart, you thought you were clever. Don't spit on a man, even if you can, it'll ruin your plan, I'll crack the bones of your neck, they'll be an irreparable wreck, send you on the trek to lay down on the coolin' board in Saint James Infirmary, see you in hell!

Cade Wageman after his match with Kyle Anderson “Congratulations on your victory Mr. Anderson. I have no excuses, you earned this one. I mean I do have a busted knee, and the flight over here was the worst, gave me a pinched nerve in my neck and spine. Also, the ropes in the Warrior Pro rings aren’t the same as back home, I couldn’t get the right bounce. Plus, I didn’t have time to acclimate my body to the weather change, but like I said, no excuses. You earned it kid.”

Gorilla Memorial Tournament: Round Two PreviewResults after Round One: BEFORE WE GET STARTED, A BRIEF (NON-KAFAYBE) MESSAGE: Due to some RL stuff, the show will post on Thursday (tomorrow) instead of the publicized date of Friday. For the purposes of canon (aka I’m lazy) the show will still “take place” on Friday, but you all will have access to it a day early. This doesn’t really matter since its not being streamed, but I felt a message was needed nonetheless. Anyways, back to our regularly scheduled programming… The first round of the Gorilla Memorial Tournament was filled with great wrestling and some interesting post-match theatrics, including a full on brawl between the Cogburn Ranch and the Jackson Hole Outlaws. The stakes are that much higher for Round Two, where the winners will move on to face off ad DEADEYE on October 10th for a chance to be the first Warrior Pro Wrestling Intercontinental Champion.
Read on for a full breakdown of this weeks match-ups…
“Flyin” Jimmy Hawkins vs Roland Chang III (TIWF) For the second consecutive week, RC3 will face a contrasting style as he faces high flyer Jimmy Hawkins. But the challenge will be ramped up as the impressive Change will face a much more accomplished foe. Hawkins, back from his excursion with AAW has been relentlessly focused and seems primed to make a name for himself out on the west coast. But a focused and committed RC3 could be showing the world that his upside potential is here and present, which would be a scary realization for the rest of the tournament field. Stan Classic vs Roy CarterRoy Carter wins matches, and he doesn’t really care how that happens as long as it does. His win last week was (mostly) by the book and another win here could get Carter one step closer to becoming the first wrestler to hold both a singles and tag team title. His immediate hurdle will not be an easy one though. Veteran Stan Classic stands as perhaps the biggest dark horse in the tournament, and could very well see himself in the finals if he can stay focused and not let whatever drama is brewing in the Wonderland Dojo team spill out into the ring. Kyle Anderson (Phoenix Rising) vs Rampage HunterKyle Anderson looked like a million bucks in his first match for Warrior Pro, and his reward will be facing the most physically imposing competitor in the field- former iWe IC champ and Warrior Pro world champion Rampage Hunter. These two have a ton in common, big brawlers that like to use their strength to overpower opponents. Can Kyle power his way to the final 4? Or will Rampage storm through his first match and lay claim to yet another singles title. Byron “Prime Time” Worthy vs Robino (iWe)What is up with Byron Worthy? The rookie made waves in the first round going after Jack Gold and Stan Classic before the latter kicked him out of his match. Shunned by the group he still managed an upset in round one, but his opponent for round two will not be so easy. Will Worthy be able to mend the fences he needs, or will he be left again on an island against a former iWe champion? Robino seems poised to let the world know that he’s a major player, but he better not be looking ahead or the impressive rookie just might drop him on his head and send him on his way….

Gorilla Memorial Tournament: Round Two The show kicks off with highlights from round one, and match previews for tonight’s fights…“Flyin” Jimmy Hawkins vs Roland Chang III (TIWF) Recap: RC3 again came out solo facing top seen Jimmy Hawkins, and the result was an instant classic of a match as both men looked like they had something to prove. This was a hellova back and forth match that saw Hawkins eventually hit the Hawk Splash for the victory.
Winner: Jimmy Hawkins Rating:**** Stan Classic vs Roy CarterRecap: It was announced before this match that Jack Gold would not be in the building, still recovering from his dust up with teammate Byron Worthy- who’s riff with Stan Classic meant the big vet came to the ring alone while Roy Carter traveled with Re Masterson. The match was just as physical and brutal as one would expect, with Classic looking like he may pull off the upset… until BYRON WORTHY came down to the ring and attacked Classic, creating something of a 3-1 disadvantage that should have put an unfortunate end to the match- except Stan Classic fought his way back, cleared the ring and looked to have all the momentum until Roy Carter cut him off and back to back GAME OVER piledrivers got the victory.
Winner: Roy Carter Rating:***** After the match… Roy Carter continues to pound on Stan Classic as Byron Worthy and Red Masterson get into the ring and join in. As officials come ringside to break up the beating, Worthy grabs a mic…The three men pose in the ring over Classic’s lifeless body before celebrating to the back to a chorus of boos from the audience… Kyle Anderson (Phoenix Rising) vs Rampage HunterRecap: For a second straight week Kyle Anderson faced off against another promotions top star and looked like the future main eventer his talent always seemed to promise in Phoenix Rising. Both men threw each other around (literally) all match, and while it seemed like Rampage was getting ready to go for the kill, Anderson slapped on an arm submission seemingly out of no where to put the big man out.
Winner: Kyle Anderson Rating:**** Byron “Prime Time” Worthy vs Robino (iWe)Recap: ”Prime Time” Worthy, the newest member of the Jackson Hole Gang, came out with both Roy Carter and Red Masterson against the iWe legend and proceeded to do everything in their power to screw Robino out of the match. Problem is, Robino didn’t seem to care, freely fought off all three members and proceeded to make comeback after comeback against the Outlaws. Tired of the interference, the referee sent numerous warnings threatening disqualification…. And finally followed through on that threat when, while trapped in a hammer lock, Red Masterson dragged Worthy’s foot to the ropes.
Winner: Robino (via DQ) Rating:**** After the match… Robino spent no time in the ring following the decision, quickly celebrating as he head to the back. The Outlaws took off after the official, who also split, before trashing the ring as the show went off the air…

Deadeye Press Conference CANCELLED Last night, Warrior Pro Wrestling was scheduled to have a press conference promoting their upcoming event- Deadeye, which will be LIVE Oct. 10th @7pm PT on Twitch. The press conference was scheduled to have the events main event, a heavyweight championship match between reigning champ Doc Wyatt and challenger Lil Lariato- but a brawl broke out between the two before anything could get started. Reports indicate the brawl started when Lariato confronted Doc backstage. Words were exchanged and it is believed that Lil Lariato threw the first blow- which erupted the staging area as both the Jackson Hole Outlaws and Cogburn Ranch immediately jumped in causing a mini riot. The brawl even spilled briefly into the actual press room, where reporters saw both Doc and Lariato exchanging blows before Warrior Pro owner Tank McDaniel separated the two, and eventually restored order before calling off the press conference and sending both teams home. In an interesting twist, Red Masterson was sucker punched by a member of Wacker Drive Revival's D-Team, who curiously were not even invited to the press conference. Freight Train was seen apologizing to the media "Uh, sorry about my girl there, she, uh, was just a bit ticked after that stuff at Midas's deal...."
Warrior Pro released a statement following the cancellation: As they were being escorted out of the building, Cogburn Ranch found a camera and had this exchange… Doc Wyatt talked to a small group of reporters outside the building and had this to say about the incident and his opponent…

We’re just a couple days away from DEADEYE, the latest PPV from Warrior Pro Wrestling, and this one will be a big one. Three titles on the line, including the crowning of the first ever Warrior Pro Intercontinental Champion, who will be the last man standing in the Gorilla Memorial Tournament. You can view the latest standings of the tournament here: The show will kick off THIS THURSDAY at 7pm PT LIVE ON TWITCH!Match previews:Gorilla Memorial Semifinal Match: Kyle Anderson (Phoenix Rising) vs Robino (iWe) Both men come from outside Warrior Pro, and both have looked extremely impressive in the opening rounds of the tournament. This is a showcase of two proud West Coast promotions that could spoil the inauguration of a new Warrior Pro champ by taking the belt with them to their home wrestling company. Gorilla Memorial Semifinal Match: Roy Carter vs "Flyin" Jimmy HawkinsJimmy Hawkins has been a force since returning to Warrior Pro from AAW, and has quickly established himself as the man to beat in this tournament. Meanwhile Roy Carter keeps doing what he’s done since Warrior Pro opened its doors- win. Added to his cause is the fact that he’ll likely be backed by a contingent of the Jackson Hole Outlaws. For The Vacant Warrior Pro Tag Team Titles: Vic Baron and “Lanky” Lefty McDaniel vs The Gold StandardWith Austin Baron injured, Vic Baron needed a new tag team partner. With this event partially an ode to Lefty McDaniel’s father, a legendary tag team wrestler, it made sense for the two generational stars to team together and try and capture tag team gold. But they won’t have a walk in the park, as Gold Standard has looked unbeatable as of late, and will be looking to prove something coming off a tournament where they were screwed over by former ally Byron Worthy. Gorilla Memorial Tournament Finals- For the Intercontinental ChampionshipThe winners of the semi-finals matches will face off for a chance to become the first IC champ. As an added bonus, Left McDaniel will be the guest referee for the match. Warrior Pro Heavyweight Championship: “Gentleman” Doc Wyatt (c) vs Lil Lariato (TIPWF)This rivalry has, quite simply, exploded. What started in Texas Independent Pro Wrestling, when Lil Lariato beat Doc for the Lone Star Championship, has bled into the Warrior Pro ring. Doc called out Lariato after his win over John Logan, and the two have exchanged barbs, brawled in the ring, and at a press conference. There’s nothing left to be said, the score will be settled in the ring- with both Cogburn Ranch and the Jackson Hole Outlaws barred from ringside.

This was personally one of my favorite shows to host- all the matches were really fun and a variety of edits from different efeds put in some solid work. Huge thanks to everyone who helped contribute not just to the show, but to the tournament as a whole. If you missed it, you can check out the entire show here:
A full recap with matches and post show interviews should be up sometime this weekend, if not sooner.

Deadeye proved to be a historical night for Warrior Pro Wrestling, as the event crowned the promotions first Intercontinental Champion, a guaranteed new Tag Team Champion, and a main event that could very well win Match of The Year. As always, scroll down for full matches, recaps and post show interviews… Gorilla Memorial Semifinal Match: Kyle Anderson (Phoenix Rising) vs Robino (iWe)Recap: A showcase of two outside talents also illustrated why the best wrestling might very well be on the West Coast. This opener pushed hard to steal the show as both men went back and forth the entire match. Robino seemed to have the match won with the Bionic Elbow, but Kyle kicked out and looked to be setting up Robino for an armbar submission before getting caught in a rollup, giving the iWe star the win and promotion bragging rights.
Winner: Robino Rating: Gorilla Memorial Semifinal Match: Roy Carter vs "Flyin" Jimmy HawkinsRecap: A renewed rivalry saw two of the top young stars in Warrior Pro face off in a classic back and forth. Jimmy Hawkins seemed to have the match won with a superkick but, as has been the case all tournament, Red Masterson caused the distraction and broke up the pin. Roy powered back, hitting his Game Over piledriver twice… but both times Hawkins kicked out. Eventually a frankensteiner into a sitting superkick finished off Carter as Masterson desperately tried to get the refs attention.
Winner: Jimmy Hawkins Rating: **** For the Vacant Warrior Pro Tag Team Titles: Vic Baron and “Lanky” Lefty McDaniel vs The Gold StandardRecap: This… was an odd one. As the bell rang Jack Gold dropped from the apron and refused to engage, essentially creating a 2-1 handicap match. Stan Classic never looked distressed and fought valiantly, but the numbers game never really gave him a chance. A Left Handed Scissors cutter from Lefty put the big man away and gave the son of Gorilla McDaniel a ceremonious victory on the day his father was being memorialized.
Winner: AND NEEEW Tag Team Champions, McDaniel and Baron Rating: ** After the match… Confused, both Vic Baron and Lefty McDaniel embraced and gave a small celebration to the crowd before heading to the back, eyeing both Gold and Classic. The losing team exchanged words and Gold gave a shrug to the crowd as both men walked to the back… Gorilla Memorial Tournament Finals- For the Intercontinental ChampionshipRecap: A perfect ending to a highly entertaining tournament, as iWe and Warrior Pro did battle once again for Intercontinental gold, this time for the Warrior Pro strap. The match looked even in the start, and as the match went on Jimmy Hawkins seemed to be slowly gaining momentum. But the veteran Robino paced himself, and as Hawkins appeared too gassed to make it to the top rope for a Hawk Splash, Robino took over- hitting a Liger Bomb for a close near fall, then immediately followed up by a Bionic for the win.
Winner: AND NEEEEEEW Intercontinental Champion, Robino Rating: **** Warrior Pro Heavyweight Championship: “Gentleman” Doc Wyatt (c) vs Lil Lariato (TIPWF)Recap: An instant classic, and no brainer finalist for Match of the Year. The story of this match- both men attempting to end with their running finisher, only to see it countered or avoided. Back and forth for the entirety of the match as neither man would give in until eventually Doc Wyatt would switch strategies and hit his Black Gold cutter to retain.
Winner: And STILL Warrior Pro Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, “Gentleman” Doc Wyatt Rating: ***** After the show, reporters had limited access to the wrestlers, with The Jackson Hole Outlaws denying all interview requests to celebrate “privately.” It was reported that Tank and Lefty were both unavailable due to a standing commitment in Mexico, and Robino/Jimmy Hawkins were both with doctors getting checked out after enduring two matches on the night (both were later medically cleared Reporters were able to track down Jack Gold, who commented on his match (or lack there of):

THE NEWLY CROWNED I.C. CHAMPION HEADS HOME Robino should have known that the plane tickets David Harley had furnished him with weren’t going to be first class, but he was annoyed all the same when the ticketing agent handed him a stub that indicated unequivocally that he would indeed be sitting in coach. Warrior Pro wrestlers - of which there were a good many on that particular plane, and all of whom were sitting in first class - scoffed and jeered as Robino entered the airplane with the Intercontinental title belt draped prominently over his shoulder. As he took the walk of shame through the curtain that separated the haves from the have-nots, deep belly laughter filled the air behind him. It embarrassed him deeply that he - a champion! - had to sit with the commoners while all those lesser wrestlers got to sit on the preferable side of the curtain, sipping on champagne and flirting with flight attendants. At the tail end of the plane he found his aisle seat and was relieved to find the chair next to it empty. Robino slung the gold Intercontinental title belt into the vacant seat and sat down beside it, but before he could even get comfortable someone tapped impatiently on his shoulder and cleared their throat. Robino looked up at a pudgy, middle-aged man who was gesturing toward the chair currently occupied by the championship. “Sorry man, I’m pretty sure that seat right there is mine.” Robino sighed, picked up his big gold belt and sat it on his lap as the stranger squeezed past and plopped down onto the seat. “Say man, what’s that thing? Looks fancy.” Robino brightened up a bit. At least there would be an opportunity to brag. “It’s the Warrior Pro Wrestling Intercontinental title.” The man seemed impressed by that, and Robino began to warm up to his new neighbor. “Wow!” the guy said, sounding genuinely astonished. “So you work for Warrior Pro, hey? My eleven-year-old son absolutely loves that stuff! You think I could get your autograph, man?” The guy started shuffling around inside the pocket on the back of the seat directly in front of him, looking for anything that could be scribbled upon. Robino reached into the pocket of his jeans and produced a Sharpie he always kept handy for precisely this sort of situation. “Well, I don’t actually work for Warrior Pro,” Robino said. “I wrestle for the i.W.e.” “The who now?” the guy asked, and abruptly stopped rifling through the seat pocket. “The i.W.e.,” Robino said again. When he noted the look of confusion on the man’s face, he added: “The Independent Wrestling Empire.” The man thought about it for a second, coming up empty. “What’s that? Some sorta new company? Never heard of it.” Robino grimaced. “No, not new. Not at all. We just celebrated our twentieth anniversary, in fact.” The guy shrugged and looked at Robino with an expression that indicated he felt some degree of pity for the pro wrestler. “Well, I’m sure if you keep at it, they’ll let you join Warrior Pro one day.” Robino’s eyebrows raised up about as high on his forehead as they could possibly go. He just glared at the guy for a few silent moments, eyes wide. His neighbor seemed utterly oblivious about the faux pas he’d just committed. Robino rubbed at his temples, trying to just let it slide. “So…” Robino began hesitantly, “... did you still want that autograph?” The man looked at Robino as though he’d just said something patently ridiculous. “No thanks, man,” the guy said, straightening up the Skymall catalogs and emergency procedure pamphlets in the seat pouch. “I’m good.”

THE I.C. CHAMPION ARRIVES AT SFO After that embarrassing episode on the airplane, Robino was relieved to have finally landed at the San Francisco International Airport. Home sweet home. With the way things had been going for him on his journey back, he fully expected his baggage to be among the last suitcases to appear on the luggage carousel, but it was even worse than that. After everyone else’s belongings had already come and gone and he was the last man standing at baggage claim, he was informed by a nervous airline employee that his suitcases had been sent to Santa Fe by accident. Defeated, Robino rounded up his carry-on items and his glimmering gold Warrior Pro Intercontinental title and trudged out of the terminal to find his ride home. David Harley had apologized profusely over the phone for the airplane ticket mix-up and assured Robino he’d be receiving a real hero’s welcome when he got back to town. The champion’s treatment is what he’d called it. So when Robino exited the airport through sliding glass doors and spotted a sleek black limousine parked at curbside, he made a beeline directly towards it. He threw open the back door, carelessly chucked his duffel bag and his title belt inside, and had already climbed halfway into the vehicle when he suddenly froze. There were two men in the backseat, holding flutes of champagne and staring at him incredulously. It was two Warrior Pro wrestlers, Roy Carter and Byron Worthy. “What in the hell do you think you’re doing?” Roy said. Byron sneered. “Yeah, it’s bad enough we had to share a ring with you. There ain’t no way in hell we’re sharing our limo with some i.W.e. loser too.” Robino’s face flushed a deep red, half anger and half embarrassment. Glaring at them without speaking a word, he grabbed his duffel bag by the straps and then reached for the Intercontinental title. Mischievously, Roy snatched at the belt and pulled it out of his reach. “You know what, Robino?” Roy said, smirking. “You might as well just leave that belt here with me. You’ll be losing it soon enough anyways.” “Like hell I will,” Robino grumbled. He lunged forward and tore the belt free from Roy’s grasp. Robino had half a mind to dive back into the limo and start throwing punches every which way, but was interrupted by two strange, loud sounds playing in unison. One sound was a decrepit old automobile approaching. It sputtered and chugged and backfired as it went. Accompanying it were the distorted strains of a well-known children’s tune blaring out of a horn mounted atop the aforementioned rust bucket. Old McDonald, to be precise. All three men turned to look through the rear window of the limousine, watching in awestruck silence as a battered old ice cream truck pulled up behind them, plumes of cigar smoke billowing from its open windows and blue clouds from its exhaust pipe. It came in so hot everyone braced themselves for an impact, but the ice cream truck just barely managed to screech to a halt with only a few inches to spare between its bumper and the limousine’s. The driver of the truck punched his horn enthusiastically, unloosing the tune of La Cucaracha to clash cacophonously with Old McDonald. Robino’s heart sank. Roy and Byron burst into uproarious, thigh-slapping laughter. It was Obnoxio the Hardcore Clown. Robino made a point to slam the limo door shut on the Warrior Pro guys’ laughter as hard as he possibly could. He sighed and dejectedly walked over to the ice cream truck. “Well look at Mr. Fancypants McSnazzybelt here!” Obnoxio said jovially as Robino climbed in. The clown was smoking an enormous cigar that smelled like it had been dipped in formaldehyde and made his speech slurred to the point of near unintelligibility. “Welcome to the Warrior Pro Ass-Kicker’s Club, buddy!” That made Robino feel a bit better, but the feeling was short lived. Since there was no passenger seat to speak of in the ice cream truck, Robino realized he’d have to simply sit on the floor. Would there ever be an end to this embarrassing string of humiliations? “Friends of yours?” Obnoxio asked, nodding toward the limousine. “No!” Robino answered a bit too emphatically. “Just a couple Warrior Pro assholes.” “Warrior Pro guys?” The big goofy grin Obnoxio had been displaying vanished in an instant, replaced by a dark, grim demeanor. His eyes seemed to cloud over; thunderheads forming. “You don’t say?” Robino nodded. Obnoxio’s hand went reaching under his seat and eventually came back up holding a long, frightening-looking kitchen knife. Before Robino could even ask what he intended to do with it, Obnoxio had climbed out of the truck and was sneaking up to the back door of Roy and Byron’s limousine, holding the knife low against his leg so they wouldn’t see it. Robino watched through the dusty, cracked windshield of the ice cream truck, wondering if he was about to witness a double homicide in broad daylight. Obnoxio threw open the back door of the limousine. The glinting blade was enough to keep the two Warrior Pro men seated. Without saying a word, Obnoxio pulled the cigar from his mouth and dropped it onto the luxurious carpeting. Smoke began to rise and Roy and Byron scrambled to pour their flutes of champagne on the smoldering cigar stub as Obnoxio slammed the door shut again. With their glasses now empty and the carpet still smoking, Roy and Byron stamped urgently at the embers. Roy frantically began unwrapping the foil from an unopened champagne bottle, hoping to douse the flames with its contents, but in his panic he was having a hell of a time getting it uncorked. Obnoxio watched through the tinted window with amusement, then raised the knife and tapped gently on the glass of the back door with the tip of it to get their attention again. Roy and Byron looked up from the carpet fire in wide-eyed horror, half expecting the deranged clown to climb into the limo and stab them both to death. Instead, Obnoxio took a few shuffling steps toward the rear of the vehicle and plunged the knife into the limo’s back tire, all the way to the hilt. A loud hissing sound filled the air and the back end of the car sagged to one side. “You clowns enjoy your walk,” Obnoxio taunted through the tinted glass, and marched back to his ice cream truck. As Obnoxio climbed back into the truck, Robino beamed at him with pride and they exchanged a vigorous high-five. In the twenty-odd years they’d known each other, Robino had never been more pleased to be acquainted with such a creepy and uncouth clown. “Those guys aren’t even real wrestlers, ya know,” Obnoxio grumbled as he put the ice cream truck in drive and they lurched away from the smoking limousine while Roy and Byron spilled out of the back door of it, gasping for air. “They’re just a buncha lowlife circus performers. Pathetic.” It struck Robino as an odd way for a man in a full clownsuit to insult someone, but he agreed wholeheartedly anyway.

WRESTLING NEWS ROUNDUP There has been a lot of news in the world of pro wrestling over the past couple of weeks, here is a brief rundown of the major stories…If you’ve been following the world of Lucha over the past few months, then you know there has been major drama regarding two of the more prominent promotions. Both La Guerra de Sangre and Lucha POWER were bought up by cartel kingpin Adalberto Bonilla, and the results have been… interesting to say the least. But fate of both companies and their ownership will be decided at the two day event: Sangremania is being held at the famous Hotel de la Lucha this Thursday and Friday. The event, coinciding with Dia de Muertos, is aiming to be the biggest Lucha show of the year. The two-day card: Night One:Los Gringos vs Hexagon Jr & Diego Guerrero El Descosido vs Doctor Dorado Nightmare Clown vs Pantero Negro Jr. MAIN EVENT: Sal de Roca vs El Macho Night Two:Mixed 4x4 tag: ZDM (with Lady Caliz vs Team Technico (with La Luciernaga) Concepcion Schultz vs Baronesa (Concepcion is currently listed as questionable for the match) iWe Tag Team Championship: Los Arboles vs Birdemic (c) La Mascara de Choque: Lobo Muerte vs Cicatrices MAIN EVENT: For control of La Guerra de Sangre: Team Harley vs Equipo Bonilla ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Jackson Hole Outlaws are not making many friends, and that just might be by design… After Warrior Pro’s most recent event, Deadeye, a select group of wrestlers took a quick flight from San Jose to San Francisco to attend a press junket tied to attracting future advertisers. It is reported that Robino, the current Warrior Pro Intercontinental Champion (and a wrestler signed with the SF based iWe promotion), got into a rather heated confrontation with Roy Carter. Reports indicate that other members of the Jackson Hole Outlaws, as well as Obnoxio from iWe were involved. Warrior Pro has thus far issued no statement on the incident. This came on the heels of the most recent TIPWF show, which saw the Outlaws ambush the main event of the show. Warrior Pro officials did confirm that a Lil Lariato vs Roy Carter match will happen based on post show remarks from both Lariato and Doc Wyatt, but no official announcement has been made as of this time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Both Lefty and Tank McDaniel have been spotted in Mexico this week, presumably as moral support for El Macho and his pair of big matches. But there’s potentially more to it than that. Multiple sources claim the McDaniel’s might be looking at future business opportunities- opportunities that may have dependencies on the outcome of Sangremania’s main event. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Recent pictures posted on Instagram have John Logan and Otto “Brick” Casey rehabbing together up in Casey’s Montana ranch. The two injured vets are rumored to have patched up differences that sprouted when Brick joined Doc’s Outlaw organization last year. While there is no timetable for either to return (Otto had shoulder surgery earlier this summer, while Logan is recovering from surgery on both knees), sources indicate both are targeting early 2020 return dates.

Warrior Pro Wrestling kicks into high gear for November with the first of two Warrior Grounds before the next big event: COLD WAR. Warrior Grounds #13 takes place tomorrow with a very entertaining slate of matches on tap.
Tune back in tomorrow for all the matches, angles and promos!
Card Preview: Markus Winter vs “Masshole” Tommy O’MalleyRookie sensation Markus Winter opens the show against our lovable Boston drunk, Tommy O’Malley. Both men are guaranteed to brawl from bell to bell- the question is can Winter regain the momentum he had coming out of the G2 tournament, or will the Masshole send his own message that he’s more than a stepping stone? Gears of War vs Danny Angelo & Trey TaylorGears of War are still trying to get back into the championship picture after losing their titles at Warriorversary, and a win over rookies Danny Angelo and Trey Taylor would be another step in that direction, following up on their win over the McDaniel’s last month. For Angelo and Taylor, this would be a chance for them to make their name in a tag division that’s still looking for the next contender for the belts… MAIN EVENT: Red Masterson vs Stan ClassicThe newest muscle of the Jackson Hole Outlaws will go toe to toe with the Wonderland Dojo vet. Stan has a score to settle with the Outlaws, given the beatings he took from them during the Gorilla Memorial Tournament, and the defection of Byron Worthy. This match promises to be full of lariats and hard brawling, and a win could see either man vaulted up the ranks into title contention.
Up on WPW.com, Red Masterson posted a video with his thoughts on his first singles match…
