Because a number of people feel that I'm unfit to contribute to this community because I don't have SpikeChunsoft's cock stuffed so far down my throat that they're scared for me to sit down, I'm resigning my duty here.
I'm also removing my mods and contributions from here.
That means the only place to get the mods will be Steam or the Mod Suite Discord, the only place to receive support will be the Discord (because Steam isn't much better as far as useless, dead weight members) and that someone else can deal with how to notify users about streams.
In the words of Jim Cornette: "Thank you, fuck you, bye".

I sure did, because this community has been nothing but a bunch of spoiled, leeches for the last few months. It's been one issue after another pretty much since the MovePack for me. People bitch and moan no matter what I do, so why support it at this point?
Slugg, I still have no personal issue with you, though I'd be lying if I didn't admit that your unfounded goading on Facebook didn't play a role in this decision. I'm not quite sure why your acting like we had previous issues that led you to make character assumptions, because before a few days ago, I don't think we'd ever spoken a cross word to one another.

I'm irritated because I've done nothing but work to better this community for the past 13 months, and since March it's been an endless stream of ingratitude and bullshit. I thought maybe changing the venue and contributing here as someone who is trying to build something nice for the community would put an end to that, but it did not.
Then SPIKE created the division between PS4 and PC gamers (not me) by obviously picking sides and sending a clear message...I just wasn't afraid to point that out, and your passive old man panties got all wadded up like we were all just supposed to accept that. That's not how it worked out though, and here we are.

You know, ive known in (at least some capacity) you Carl for a decade or more. I doubt you recall but in the early days of the arena and various streams. You often told me that my favorite Metal wasn't metal because ...ect. But I'd be lying if I said we'd interacted much the last few years aside from me booking your edits in a few of my original edit save packs.
Hell just two days ago we agreed on a shared disdain and distrust for Spike. A month or so ago me and you where pretty much the only people saying to "give Sword his day in court" and no one knew all the facts.
Still I voiced my dislike of how somethings came to be, again a direct quote.
I never attacked you there, I went out of my way to say I HAD NOTHING AGAINST YOU, my problem was with HOW shit came together. I'm not a complete moron, I know theres no time machine, and maybe I should just let it go, but FFS I'm allowed to express it!
Also I did not say shit to you directly until YOU talked shit, then you insulted my reading ability and resigned from both the FB group and here.

Yeah, if we're going to lay it all bare, I was probably not the best person to put in the position I was in. I can admit that. I'm not a people person, I'm stubborn, and I'm opinionated. I also felt I did a fine job, and there was little reason to question the appointment...so it was just sort of a shot from left-field I guess.
Also, for the same reason I may not have time to update the mod suite, I don't have time to deal with "professional malcontents". It's exhausting, and it's been something I've dealt with since the MovePack thing where I was accused to "holding the entire community hostage" etc. It's been a non-stop stream of accusations and stupidity from members of the community, and it just stopped being worth it.
I did lose my cool and acted stupidly, I can also admit that...it happens. Probably not my finest hour, but it's been brewing for going on 6 months...

Punk, it wasn't self-election. It was in the middle of the night after we found out the (technically) head guy of the previous place was a pedo and Deadspin picked up on it.
We needed a new place and fast. The people who were up and around and could spare a few hours of sleep worked on a solution.
Could have been you. You weren't there. Not blaming you, this isn't your life and it shouldn't be.

Since I wanted you there, I'll take the blame for that. I put you in a situation you're telling me you weren't the best to deal with and that's on me. Like I told you in the discord, put yourself in the best position to do the mod suite, that's the important thing. Good to admit your wrongdoings, but there's also a thing about people having thin skin and being offended at the smallest things nowadays. |

Not going to rehash the whole discord thing but I couldn't even get on it for said discussion because my invite somehow never worked....but regardless you guys take it as a personal attack which i can understand but trust me if "he who shall not be named" or MDK or ect started telling me how it was i have and would take issue. Hell me and some guys where pooling to buy Fireproclub net before we got wind of CritClub and we stopped. Hell Phil you where there on the same FB chat this all went down in. Me and Slugg where giving shit over a few made decisions for everyone. I'm just a anti-authority kind of asshole, sorry lol |
