The age old debate: does the new TMNT game compare to Turtles In Time on the SNES/Arcade?

The age old debate: does the new TMNT game compare to Turtles In Time on the SNES/Arcade? Yeah my wife and I just beat it tonight. It's about as good as you can do a beat'em up game these days. Really solid and fun. Gives replayability.

Just revisited FPW world on PS4, decided to give it a proper go. I finally figured out FPW NET, and created a FPD worthy roster, it has been a learning process though. I’ve downloaded headless Baba and Hawk, unusable Eddy Guerrero and Jim Cornette (I’m not buying move craft/part craft/entrance craft to use them…), and a few duds with default logic and moves, but I’ve also grabbed some great edits and AMAZING ring designs, so this has been a fun ride so far!
Any recommendations for good sources of edits that don’t require additional DLC to use? Thanks!
Also, I was pleasantly surprised by Kobashi’s new (if it’s old, it’s been a while…) prone opponent smash in the face!!! 😁
Edit: just simmed a 45:13, 100% match between the teams of Brody/Hansen vs Gordy/Williams! Surprisingly no colour, and not surprisingly Hansen no-sold every double team attempt by Bam-Bam and Dr Death! 😂

Isn't move craft free?

Hmm, look at that, so it is! 🙂 I guess I’m jaded, $20 for NJPW jobber pack, $30 for new shoes pack, $20 for 90s mullet pack, I didn’t even look at the price! Thanks!

I still don't have the parts craft dlc because it's way too expensive just for the ability to import and export parts

While the price of all of the DLC combined can be overwhelming (especially to players who are just discovering Fire Pro World in 2022), one really has to put into consideration that the DLC has been an ongoing project for a game that was released five years ago. A game that, after the abomination that was the XBOX port ...no one expected would ever see the light of day. Let alone a followup to Fire Pro Returns from 2007.
Many purists have shunned the Parts Craft DLC for charging a premium on a service that was already available for free in the modding community. Myself, I think the price is justified with all of the years I already sunk into this game.

I was new to the series around the release of this game. I bought all the other dlc pretty much no problem. I think my thing with parts craft is I like working with a limited but robust system for creations. Parts craft, and move craft more so, have made it to where so many edits from creators I like have dozens of other things I need to download for them and I do not want to be subscribed to way more things then the ton I try to keep up with. Also move craft has the issue where something happens to the creators uploads and all of a sudden a ton of edits become unusable. I just wish there was a work around for those dlc really that made it easier on the subscribers.

Fire Pro Wrestling Returns.
At the time of the game's release, I was just re-discovering old school Wrestling. Returns is one title that I bust out every so often just for the convenience of having a traditional roster readily available. No Steam Workshop required (though, a few downloadable save files wouldn't hurt either).
Unsurprisingly, dedicated fans are still streaming matches from Returns onto Youtube on a regular basis.

While still saving up for a new PS5 TV I've been playing a lot of the PSN backlog I've accumulated over the years on the PS4 Pro. Some games I bought release day years ago and never even got around to playing. I just 100% Not a Hero, a quirky cousin to the Hotline Miami games with more emphasis on Devolver Digital's signature dark humor. Exact same gameplay as Hotline Miami done from a side scrolling perspective and with 9 unlockable hitman characters with their own unique play styles, strengths and weaknesses and like Hotline Miami, a fantastic soundtrack.

I have been playing a bit more WWE 2k22 over the past month...the nWo make it a bit more bearable...but it's been close to two weeks since I touched it.
I still play/sim Fire Pro World. Although my fantasy journal on the site here is not updated, I keep up with my weekly cards.
I still play Star Wars Battlefront II with friends online. We shoot the breeze while playing.
My wife and I played Lego Batman 3 for the first time in months last week.
I played a bit of Nascar Heat 5, it's ok.
Last week I also played a couple of matches in FIFA 22, not bad.

Embarrassing as it may be, I'm FINALLY getting around to trying out 6 Man Scramble on the Sega Saturn.
Scramble addressed a number of issues found in X Premium. For one thing, there's more originality with the World Championship mode. Being able to start off in different promotions (based on which Wrestler you choose) and compete in about seven different divisions is such a breath of fresh air.
Graphics and gameplay-wise, Scramble set the stage for every Fire Pro that came after it. Influences that can still be felt in Fire Pro World 26 years later.
At the moment, I'm dishing out Lariats with Stan Hansen in the World Championship mode. Next opponent is the Suplex Machine Gary Albright.
