On an impulse (which doesn't happen often), I bought WWE 2k22. Not bad but I popped Fire Pro back in after a couple of days. The last 2k I had was WWE 2k16, so I can see a big difference.
One thing I was impressed with was how fluidly you can put an opponent through a table.
I also got Lego Skywalker Saga, I've been enjoying that game immensely. I am at ESB...and I wonder if the game could do a better job with the "Sequel Trilogy" than the Disney crew.
How do you do announce table spots? I can't figure that out. You have to do it as a Finisher. drag the opponent to the announce table, lift them on it it using the R stick and use a Finisher.

After playing WWE 2k22 more...it sucks...I regret buying it. Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga is a ton of fun though, so many inside references and memes...
Seriously, I am trying to play a MITB match...the Ladder mechanics from WWF No Mercy on the N64 are better.

I officially regret buying WWE 2k22. I will never buy 2k again.

I’m interested in seeing how the AEW game turns out and how close it will resemble the AKI era in terms of gameplay. That is my main interest in it right now. And I will have my PS5 next weekend so when the game goes on pre-order if the gameplay previews lean toward AKI, I will get it. I think it’s scheduled for a September release.
I also preordered the Shadowrun Trilogy on PS4, PS5 and Switch now that it’s up to preorder. Still hoping the Switch will get the SNES Shadowrun up on the classics board.
Also hoping the Advance Wars reboot gets back up on the store soon.

I remember seeing an early preview of the AEW game some time ago. The main perspective was definitely aiming for an AKI vibe but the camera cuts reminded me more of the old Smackdown games, which isn't surprising since it's being developed by Yukes. This was ages ago, though, and I don't know how it's shaped up since then.

Been playing modded Marvel Ultimate Alliance on PC with a friend through Parsec.
Got a bunch of classic PS2 games I want to revisit soon, especially Def Jam FFNY - The only fighting game I'm any good at lol.

Ninja Warriors on the SNES and Super Famicom. It's a 2D beat 'em up that I strangely never encountered when the game was originally released back in '94.

I think all I've been playing since like February has been Elden Ring. Great game! Now if they'd only give the same open world treatment to Bloodborne, I'd be incredibly happy! :)

Finally getting into Breath of the Wild, late to the game, yes, but luckily these things don’t expire. I’m really enjoying it so far, I love that you find out about things totally by accident and experimentation. I’ve never finished a Zelda game before (GASP!), so perhaps this will be the first.
The runes are a lot of fun and lend themselves to fun puzzle solving and combat alternatives, and the breakable weapons add to the experience as well. Fun stuff so far.

RDR2....again.
I think this is the 6th or 7th play through

The main games I've been playing have been: - Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster. I have gone deliberately slow so as not to burn through the experience too fast. Almost done with the second half of the game but have milked it by leveling. - FPW. I've done really nothing with it for the past month but sim in the background. A combination of being busy and getting burned out on edit making. But I'm starting to feel the creativity start flowing back. - KOF 16. Still amazed at how smooth this is. Tempted to get a month of PSN to play this online. RDR2....again. I think this is the 6th or 7th play through This is kind of shocking given my love for RDR 1 but I still haven't completed RDR 2. It's not that I wasn't impressed but the game just became harder to go through the further the story progressed. I knew spoilers for both games but they became more of a deterrent for the second game. And there's just something about the world that wasn't as inviting for me to play in 2 vs. 1, except for a few areas. (If I was an NPC, I'd set up shop in Strawberry or in the Northeast corner of the map near the water falls). I'm glad that you are enjoying the game so much though. I feel like if RDR 2 came out within a few years of RDR 1, I would have been more into it. So much of a game's enjoyment for me comes down to when I play it.

TMNT Shredder's Revenge came out today. I'm just debating on whether or not I want to put another $34 on the credit card. On the bad side, I already need to put $300 on the credit card, but on the plus side, pay day is tomorrow, but on the bad side I also start my three weekend shifts in a row tomorrow so I wouldn't get to play on the weekend anyway, so I may hold off and pick it up on Monday.

I stumbled across a way to unlock a certain character (no spoilers here…) on a certain game site, and I had a chuckle to myself and thought “yeah, just pay $12 USD”, but NO, said character is actually UNLOCKABLE in the old sense of the word!!! What is this world coming to?! Do the shareholders know about this travesty?! What about the executive bonuses?! When will this outrage be noticed and corrected for??? 😁 I’ll be interested to see what you folks think of this game, hopefully it’s more than just a nostalgia itch scratcher!
