Just picked up Skydrift Infinity, a new take on racing games, this time racing combat aircraft.
Also picked up Griftlands, done in the same roguelite card genre as games like Deep Sky Derelicts.

Forgot I was a Kickstarter backer for Starmancer and just got an early download code. The game officially goes up for early access sale on Thursday.

So, a couple of years after releasing arguably the worst game in the Dynasty Warriors series (DW9 though DW6 was similarly I'll received), Koei-Tecmo has rebounded by releasing what for me is the best game in the Samurai Warriors series, Samurai Warriors 5.
Instead of covering their usual 60-70 years of the Sengoku era, they are only covering the 40ish years that Oda Nobunaga was active. The story mode is divided between two pathways, one focused on Nobunaga's rise and the other focused on Akechi Mitsuhide's service of various daimyo, including Nobunaga whom he famously killed. What would theoretically leave a more truncated experience is actually a MUCH more robust story presentation that includes very important elements that were either previously mentioned in passing or ignored altogether.
Added to this is the best gameplay that I've personally experienced in a "Musou/Warriors" title. While the roster IS smaller (omitting former cover characters Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura, who came along later and featured very prominently in the last SW Spinoff game) and there are shared weapons besides, what makes it really novel is that each weapon is completely viable and the characters that share weapons still feel unique since their actual weapon skills are different. Note that any character can use any weapon but every character has a preferred weapon that they get special moves for (Nobunaga actually gets two because why the hell not lol).
So yeah, if you've ever enjoyed one of the many Warriors/Musou titles over the last 20 years, this one is definitely worth checking out.
Note that like every SW game since the 2nd, it does not have localized audio so it's all subtitles with Japanese audio. Not a deal breaker for me but it is for some. Just thought I'd mention it regardless.

Couldn't wait for the physical version of GTA Trilogy Remastered, even though I have it pre-ordered. Bought the digital version but am currently still on my current shift rotation so haven't got to play it yet. From what I'm hearing it needs a bit of patching anyway. Also while I was on the store I ended up picking up the PS5 digital version of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (even though I own it physically for PS4 and PS5 already) I consider it one of those masterpiece games and need to have every variant of it readily available to be able to play regardless of contingency. Also picked up the digital PS5 version of Skyrim Anniversary Edition. A game I have bought every release of and still have yet to play. I guess it's not getting a physical release and they're just letting people with the PS4 version upgrade it for a $20 fee, but I figure I might as well just buy the full thing again so I won't have to bother digging out the disk.
Still have no PS5 yet. I can't even imagine how hard it is going to be to get one this time of year anyway and may just abandon the search until next year. It's not like I don't have a backlog that can't tide me over for several years.

I'm moving through Persona 5 Royal at a glacial pace. I got this game a year ago. It's still a lot of fun, though.

I wanted to play the NG+ but I like to wait a while before going back to a game. Then they announce Royal so I had to wait for that to play it again, negating my NG+ I play through the game and discover I get the bad ending. No extra dungeon. Bottom line is I gotta play it a 3rd time. A tip I wish I had known is make sure to max confidence with the male guidance counselor, it's the only way to get the extra dungeon and good ending.

The only confidants I've maxed so far are Ryuji, Ann, and Takemi, the latter of which I wanted so I could get my hands on the Alice persona.

Been playing a lot of The Ascent recently. Pretty good twin-stick shooter mixed with action RPG elements. Highly recommend it!

I have it on my wish list, but will be needing a PC upgrade to get it to run.

Made a blind purchase of Disciples: Liberation today. Knew nothing about it but it's getting some positive feedback on various forums as it only released a couple weeks ago. An 80 hour RPG campaign combined with massive roster army building and customizable characters sold me on it.

Been about five years and it’s already starting to chug on graphic intensive games. I really want to be able to enjoy Warhammer Total War III optimally when it comes out. Only reason I haven’t invested yet is because I’m hoping to snag a PS5 if one shows up somewhere locally.

Been going through Valkyria Chronicles Remastered on PS4 and then will go through Valkyria Chronicles 4, but I also just discovered the old arcade version of Bad Dudes just went up on PSN and I had to pick that up. I rented it a million times on the NES as a kid and I have to admit I am a sucker for all those old arcade games when they go up on PSN even though they are overpriced. Also grinding through the seasonal content of Deep Rock Galactic. Going to be playing some more Project Zomboid in the future as a new big multiplayer patch recently came out adding a lot of features, and playing online with a couple people last time was insanely fun.

Me too - which is why I can't stop myself from buying all those Kunio game packs on PSN 😁
