I don't think I can ever get into it because zombie apocalypse themes in pop culture aren't my cup of tea, but They Are Billions has gorgeous art and graphics and the RTS portion of it is a clever take on the archetype. I have over 100 hours on the PC version and still haven't survived a final horde attack. It's three games in one, sim management as far as building and economy go, tower defense during the horde attack portions of the game and your standard RTS of map exploration and resource gathering, all at the same time.

Doing me usual semi-annual SOTN replay
Also just finished Bloodstained and Judgement/Judge Eyes, great stuff.
Also played a bit of Wolfenstein Youngblood, good but It's clearly for co-op and I know nobody with it on ps4

After many years since owing my first copy, I decided to get a copy of WWF No Mercy for the N64.
The Handicap matches against the APA made me rage quit
I beat them in the Hardcore Title storyline. However, the tag title story with the Boiler Room brawl is so irritating. I'm trying to use Taker...forget it.

Yeah, all the handicap matches make trying to get 100% a royal headache. Especially if it's against any iteration of DX.

I've been playing a lot of Sims 2 Ultimate Collection recently. It's pretty much the main reason I've been away from Fire Pro even though I said I should get back into edit making about a month ago.
In fact, I've been playing a lot of older games recently, including TimeSplitters Future Perfect, Simpsons Hit and Run and Shadow the Hedgehog on the original Xbox.

Heard a fair bit about Zelda-themed Crypt of the Necrodancer spinoff Cadence of Hyrule, so I just got the demo and started it up.
Did NOT know it was published by Spike Chunsoft. Thought my brain had glitched out when I heard that jingle and saw that translucent skull.

After finishing God of War (Finally) and Detroit: Become Human in successive months, I've kind of been on a roll in playing awesome games that actually engage me. As much as I like MMORPGs, I've been pretty burned out on them for a while now despite STILL doing daily logins for exp, items, training, etc. So yeah, two great "change of pace" games to the norm and now I'm on to another one.
I started playing Persona 5 a couple of days ago. I'd actually purchased the game in the PSN winter holiday sale 2-3 years ago. I know that I wanted to play it but I just never gave it a whole lot of thought as there was always a newer, often more familiar title catching my eye. See, I've never played a Persona game. Absolutely NONE of them. As big as I am into fighters, I never even played Persona 4: Arena, in part because I didn't know the characters and I have this rea;;u weird hangup about wanting to be familiar with "source material" before delving into spinoffs and the like. Nevertheless, I got Persona 5 because the price was right (it was $25 IIRC), it seemed really stylish and interesting, and I understood that it followed the "Final Fantsay" style of sequels, wherein the main-series games aren't actual sequels of each other, thus I wouldn't be missing out on anything noteworthy by having never played a prior Persona game.
So yeah, started it a couple of days ago. I'm level 5 after like 5-6 hours and just got free reign to move about town, with the objective of taking down the first "palace" in 14 days (in-game) time. I feel like my feet are still dangling outside of the proverbial rabbit hole. Holy crap, there is a LOT of stuff in this game at this point and I'd be shocked if there's not a lot more stuff that unlocks as the story/character level progresses. And yeah, that "stylish" bit I thought about when I bought it those years ago? Nailed it. It looks cool, moves cool (for the type of game that it is), and the soundtrack is pretty damn good. Again, this is a first impression of the game and the entire series. I feel that if I like this one well enough, I might even do something crazy like go back and play Persona 4 lol.
Speaking of games that I bought because I had interest and they were on sale, I purchased the most recent version of "Under Night In-Birth" because a gillion fighters isn't enough for me xD. Seriously, as I life long fighting game fan, it just seemed like a good opportunity to get into it before the next version releases (I want to say early next year). I just have to get through Persona 5's story first! :P

I bought Persona 5 on the same sale and still have yet to play it. Now a new Royale Edition of the game is coming this fall which greatly expands it. I know I'll probably pick it up.

Hi, just wondering if anyone here is a Housemarque Games fan? I loved Resogun and Nex Machina and am bummed that the latter will be the end of the arcade style shooter road for the group as they’re great games, and nice pallet cleansers/quick game fix between the usual giant, story driven stuff I play. Just wondering if anyone here could recommend Dead Nation, Alienation, or Super Stardust Ultra? Those three go on sale quite often, so I thought I’d pick one or all up if you fine C!C folks could recommend one or all of these titles. Thanks in advance!

You know what's hilarious about old 90s side-scrolling beat em ups? When they give one of the guys a piledriver, but there's no sprite for landing straight onto your head, so they end up using the "doubled-over" sprite just flipped upside down.
So you're fist-(and pipe-, and whatever-)fighting your way through these bloodthirsty post-apocalyptic street thugs and giving them all the safest piledriver in the history of mankind until they flicker and DIE.

Monster Hunter World Iceborne just arrived, but I've gone back to Days Gone after about a month away to try and beat it before I start something else. I'm still being surprised by all the amount of little details they put in this game. Some of these things I didn't even notice until I saw these vids.
