If it's been removed, that means it's been cancelled. No other reason to remove it now otherwise. Not surprised, as I didn't expect Spike to lock themselves into being legally obligated to provide all pieces for another platform, when they can't even handle one. Now I'm expecting them to release dlc as it's completed, which is the smarter move but gives them the option to bail before everything is complete. It will be interesting to see how they handle PS4 though. You think they're foing to cancel the NJPW content too? No, there's no reason to do that when it's already been completed on another branch. Njpw and Fire Promoter (in its current form) are pretty much guaranteed at this point. I just wouldn't expect them in a season pass bundle. |

I'm trying to come up with the nicest way to say this, but this kind of posting is at best white noise, or -- when it's the only thing being posted -- destructive. Both self-destructive, and destructive in encouraging a negative feedback loop in like-minded people. I understand that there are people who are upset but repeatedly posting the same "This game is abandonware" posts over and over again, especially when it's your one and only contribution to any discussion threads, is pretty tiresome. I'm not going to tell you to shove off, because afaik you aren't actually breaking any rules (until I make one saying "No shitposting about poor oppressed PC gamers") but I will say that maybe it's worthwhile not to post if all you have to contribute is contrarian posts purely to get your fix of giving yourself the depressios. Sorry if I came off as kind of a prick, or anything. |

Nah, they're too far along in NJPW DLC and Fire Promoter development to not release them. Unlike the other two DLC (one which they definitely haven't even started), those two are pretty easy money. Also, I'm getting an "Update Required" notification for Fire Pro. If anyone interested in continuing to play modded hasn't backed up their save yet and started making preparations, now is the time to do so. |
