i just got a stream update telling me its been push back. its been pushed back to a September release.

I've never ever gotten mad at a game developer over a delay. I always say the same fucks who run their bitch holes about a game being delayed are the same fucks who will incessantly cry if a game is released on time but full of bugs; so it's always a lose lose situation for the devs.

This was quite the surprise tbh. I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't bummed, but the best thing me, and the collective can do in this situation, is try and offer the dev team compassion and understanding. Japanese work schedules are a nightmare iirc....

Ive had to do two 17 hour shifts back to back days as QA on a 'oh fuck we can't be delayed' crunch-time, Im pretty sure the devs never went home.

I feel like this kinda keeps happening to us here. Fire Promoter was due in January and, understandably, got pushed back. Then back and back and... Yeah. Okay, sure, I get it, PS4 is the bigger platform for them in Japan and the NJPW collab is a big deal. Cool. Fine.
Fire Promoter still has no release date and nor does the same stuff that'll launch on PS4 in the US on the 28th.

This also means the mod suite is officially dead for the foreseeable future.
I could make time a week into classes, I can't do that a month into classes. So users of the mod suite/move pack/any other mod are going to have to make the choice of new official junk or mods.

Well, that sucks, already had the money ready. The DLC is way too expensive, it should be half of the price. (10$) I know, lots of work went into it (recording voice overs etc.) but charging a price of the base game? Didn't they once say it won't be expensive? Eh. I'll still buy though, just so that mods work. Another question though is, is the update still happening on 28th?
