Official Junk
This is why i love Carl..
Anyway my biggest issue is the fact i at least would like to BUY the thing so i wouldn't get worried about having enough money to pick it when it comes out.
Whats the official asking price? Does anyone know?
Also what i said earlier today still stands :
They're doing it wrong, they're focusing way too much in the console market when they should be pointing their big guns towards us, thank god we've got the modsuite to keep us occupied until the day they decide to launch the whole package.
I wasn't expecting this, and if you told me it would be delayed, i wouldn't believe.
They’ve said several times that the PC sales were lower than expected and are basically looking for the PS4 version, esp in Japan, to be the bigger seller. So it’s not a total surprise that they are delaying the PC DLC after the somewhat disasterous PS4 release. But it still sucks

It's going to be a long wait, but as some have already pointed out, I'd prefer a finished product rather than a buggy unfinished one.

This also means the mod suite is officially dead for the foreseeable future. I could make time a week into classes, I can't do that a month into classes. So users of the mod suite/move pack/any other mod are going to have to make the choice of new official junk or mods. A handful of official parts and moves with a new mode, or unlimited moves, parts and extensibility that's added to regularly. Very easy choice to make. This is annoying because it means Promoter is delayed again. At this point, I'm not going to bother updating my game until the Promoter dlc is available. So, I guess that means no guarantee of my mods working with the update/Njpw dlc either unless someone wants to test for me.

I’m not really bummed out by this: just hoping the new DLC is even better when it launches

It stinks, but I'd rather they get it right when it does launch on Steam. In the meantime, I'll happily be playing the story mode on PS4 (which is what I planned to do anyway).

I'm not upset about this in the least, I'm just pointing this out because I'm a pedantic as*hole, BUT, the first sentence of the statement says "pushed back to September", and, yet, the last sentence in the same statement says, "aiming for September." I guess we'll just hope for the best...

Well I'd rather have it all cleaned up and glitch free anyway.
So there were "Day 1 Patch" moves added on the PS4 in Japan. Are they attached to the DLC or are they just game patch/ free update?

Two things.
1) Is the PS4 selling any better?
2) How much they were expecting to make in the pc release and how much has been selling?
I'm not doubting your statement, i'm just asking what they're actually expecting from the pc gamerbase and how much has been achieved with the console version sales.
Sticking with the modded game for now sounds amazing, the main problem is if you're a frequent user of the workshop, if you are, beyond this point you won't be able to use it, nor upload your creations - and this for someone who's in a eternal quest to perfect his edit's logic and looks is a dealbreaker.
Right now i'm removing the modded stuff from my edits to avoid headaches in the future.
I can endure using the vanilla crap, until carl comes back and fixes compatibility. then it's all heaven again.

It goes beyond just the modded moves and parts. It's possible that the mod suite in general will be broken after the update, so if you use any of those features you're SOL until Carl has time to look into them.
As for the workshop, those edits will still be around when I finally update, so no major concerns there.

Oh man, I'm just imagining the time that'll be wasted watching all those collar and elbow tie ups during sims! And not being able to speed up/slow down or take over mid match. The agony!
Those little mods mean way more to me than moves or parts.

It's even worse, if you have a heavily modded edit, with modded parts and modded moves up the yazoo, if you turn the mods off and try to boot the game you'll get stuck and crash, thats why i'm removing the modded stuff from my guys until everything gets sorted out again.
And if someone here uses the workshop to regularly update and playtest other edits they should do the same.

This totally sucks...but im not surprised really. I really felt they rushed things when they were adding all the New Japan stuff. They should of pushed it back to a Christmas time release that way they would of had time to fix all the bugs before releasing it

I can't be too upset since I was already planning to keep steam in offline mode until the mod suite got updated, so I wasn't gonna be playing the new version on the 28th anyways. But man, ever since the out-of-nowhere X-mas exit from Early Access on Steam, things have been really chaotic from the dev team. Kinda wish they'd stop trying to put precise release dates out there; seems like there have been a few times we were days away from something dropping, only to be delayed again.

Good thing since I don't have the money for the full season pass. Bad thing since they still haven't announced the price.

1) We're only in the first week and there's the price difference to consider but the PC launch sold more than the PS4 Japanese launch by about 5K. 2) I think they expected alot more Japanese fans to jump on the PC release and that there'd be consistent growth with the sales numbers. Like word of mouth would spread about Fire Pro and they'd be able to keep good news/updates coming which would sell more copies. At least on the PC side, it seems like sales have leveled off. They did a respectable number (more than WWE 2K18 on PC!) but they wanted more.
