I wonder why most ppl spell it Hurricanrana? also tnx for the Danshoku Rush, I've added it Honestly, Hurricanrana is accurate. It's the Americanized spelling, that even in Mexico has become the official spelling. But, since Huracán Ramírez is credited with inventing the move, I like to go with Huracánrana. Honestly, it's just me being weird. Topé or Finn Bálor or Pelé Kick not having proper accent marks bugs the hell out of me, though. Also, everyone Tag Senator Phillips to remind him to come help us with the combat sports names! Senator Phillips

I was thinking of adding the generic names for things like the Rock bottom, codebreaker etc in brackets for people who don't want wrestler specific move names If it's something that could end a match I would rather not have specific names when someone else could use it. Plenty of people use the Implant DDT, so I can't just have it named Edge-ucation or Impaler. But then something Like Darkness Falls is just a signature for EVIL, but if anyone else has it I would imagine it would be their finish, so they could rename it per edit. I just go by what edits I have and if I need to rename something or not. I THOUGHT when they said you could rename everything it was per wrestler, so you could rename their signatures and such.

I've added a second sheet with the general fixes and optional renames for specific wrestlers so ppl can choose which they want That spreadsheet is absolutely amazing. There are some tiny punctuation/grammatical changes I'd personally make, but that is coming from someone with mild OCD lol. Just for the sake of throwing them out there, here's what I'd change. I've always seen V Trigger as V-Trigger. Dodonce's Throne is wrong, it's Dodon's Throne as far as I know. El es Culero should be El Es Culero I think, as "Is" is usually capitalized in a title. I put a hyphen in High-Angle Dropkick. Suzuki-style piledriver should be Gotch-Style Piledriver, I never saw anyone call it Suzuki-style until this game. I'd put a hyphen in Phoenix-Plex. I'd put "Figure-Four Leglock". Obviously these are super small but you are a superstar for doing this and I really, really appreciate it. I think we have a similar approach, but I'd change a bit to make it perfect - more hyphens mostly. Basing most of my spellings on this "maneuvers" portal here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professional_wrestling

I love all the OCD in this thread. It makes me so happy. For fun, I'll also suggest that everyone go through and change all that "Knee Drop (Face)" shit to "Knee Drop to Face."
Those parenthesis piss me off to no end. And, yeah, I think dnmt is right. Dodonce's Throne was a Spike typo. Imagine that. I too respect the hyphen in V-Trigger, Spiderman.

Oh, yeah,.... Senator Phillips did send me a couple move name renames. Punch - Short Punch, it's a quick basic strike with no windup, no range, little power, so it does not need much of a description past that American Hook - Stepping Hook, Step-In Hook, I use this one for anyone who lunges in with a big swinging hook, either wild sidearm punches or more calculated leaping hooks like Frazier's. _________________________ I ended up calling them "Boxing Short Punch" and "Boxing Stepping Hook." Whenever possible, I like to add the discipline as part of the move name. Some of the throws will be "Judo..." or "Sumo Tsuppari" or "Wrestling Takedown." I don't always have room, but it's helpful to me. If I want to make a Muay Thai fighter, I want to limit the amount of karate he does.

As fot the Suzuki-style piledriver, there actually is a seperate cradle piledriver that I've renamed a Gotch-style piledriver. The only difference is Suzuki's applies the cradle then lifts whereas the other one lifts up then adds the cradle.
Apart from that I think I'll add your changes, they seem to make sense and look right to me
edit: If it's Figure-Four Leglock, wouldn't that make all other names that end in _lock one word and not two?

Now you're asking the tough questions. If you look at the Wiki of holds, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professional_wrestling_holdsMost moves are just _lock without a space. Exceptions are Wrist Lock, Waist Lock, and specifics like Kimura Lock, Muta Lock, etc. Seems like Headlock, Facelock, Armlock, Leglock, Kneelock and Chinlock and Deathlock all go without a space. Which is odd, and perhaps arbitrary. I think it's just a general feel for how the word looks. Armlock looks okay, wristlock and waistlock look a bit weird lol.
