Lyger and Davey Boy into the hall of fame this year. Has lyger ever been on a WWE/WWF show? I’m glad he’s been recognized even if it is just a wrestlemania lead up show. Yes he has, I found a match from a NXT Takeover against Tyler Breeze or whatever his name were. It was on the free tier WWE Network last month. Just checked the match is on NXT Brooklyn. It's on the free tier here in the UK, all I did was sign up. See if you can do that from wherever you are(unless you are already a subscriber)and have a gander. Some really good compilations on there too, all for free.

Sorry flaps, I honestly didn't see your response before I posted. Lol, no worries. At least I actually got Tyler Breezes name right, so thank you!

I watched Fastlane...I enjoyed Sheamus vs Drew and Bryan vs Reigns. Bliss vs Orton was pathetic. Belair/Banks vs Bazler/Jax was a snoozer.
I also watched RAW on Hulu and NXT UK on Peacock.
Planning on having WWE Main Event, NXT, Smackdown and 205 Live on in the background while I update my fantasy journal, shadow box and putter around.

I've bitten the bullet and subscribed to the Network. It's an absolute treasure chest!
The fact I can watch ECW again is worth the ten pounds a month, not really bothered about modern day WWE but having the PPVs for a fraction of the cost is a bonus. I might give Wrestlemania a view.
And why is there only 10 episodes of Smoky Mountain? Like Bakfu said earlier, it's great! And there's loads of old territory promotions too, mullets everywhere!
I might watch some WCW too as I have found memorys of that too and of course 90s WWE.

Yeah, the archive has always been of great value and they've only added more promotions over the years.
I mainly subscribe for the monthly PPVs but I really dislike how Peacock ran Fastlane, specifically not having the ability to rewind to earlier in the event as it's airing. Thus if you're late tuning in or want to look at something you missed when you stepped away you're now SOL. Wouldn't be much of an issue if he hadn't been able to do son WWE's own company-run Network for the last 6-7 years. It's a marked step back in functionality.

A 45 minute weather delay couldn't deter WWE from holding their first live show in 13 months
Night 1 of WM was pretty entertaining once it began
Really good opener with Lashley and McIntyre, an even better match in the middle of the show with Rollins and Cesaro, and my personal favorite match, the main event between Banks and Belair. There was one yucky match on the show and it was NOT the regularly scheduled WM Celebrity match.
I'm glad I got to see the first night conclude with the match that I most wanted to see because yeah, I work too early on Monday to be up at 11pm on a Sunday lol

It just sucks that some matches and spots have been taken out because they are deemed too offensive. The one I know of is Piper vs Bad News Brown and Wrestlemania VI because Piper painted half his body black. But his message was that it doesn't matter what color your skin is it's what's on the inside. I'm guessing the DX parody of the Nation of Domination has also been taken off since they were all in blackface.

I was pretty anti-WWE for a long time. I started with Fastlane and have been watching most shows on Hulu with NXT UK on Peacock.
So last night was the first Wrestlemania I've watched since WM XIX.
My favorite matches were Drew vs Lashley and Cesaro vs Rollins. I was genuinely happy to see Cesaro win.
Without spoiling results or naming moves, I was surprised by Bad Bunny. I think if he took a year to train with either Rey or head down to Arena Mexico, he would come out a very solid luchador.
The build up to Banks vs Belair was lackluster, but the match was solid. Once again, without trying to spoil, I was impressed by Belair's strength.
Perhaps it wasn't as good as I thought it was, but I tend to avoid social media, and I don't watch YouTube channels like WrestleTalk, so I enjoyed WWE and I am looking forward to Asuka vs RFipley (Go Kana!) and the Triple Threat. Orton vs The Fiend I can do without.
One last thing...when I saw Lashley on RAW a few weeks ago, I immediately thought he was like Zeus from No Holds Barred. Last night my wife saw him and she thought he was acting like Zeus as well.

Who gets to be the judge, jury and executioner?
I remember back when Ron Simmons was feuding with Vader for the WCW title. Harley Race called Ron "boy" and acted like a racist piece of trash. It was done to build heat against Vader and make you root for Ron...it worked...and lo and behold, Simmons beat Vader and the place exploded. I remember seeing the match at my aunt's place and I was excited for Simmons.
So if some overly sensitive snowflake sees the interview where Harley's being racist, they'll cut it from the archive; the context will be removed, and what something that makes Simmons' win a bit sweeter is lost.

I enjoyed night one of Wrestlemania, the highlight being Cesaro/Rollins.

Just finished Night 2...different tone compared to Night 1. I enjoyed the Women's Tag Title Match, Sheamus vs Riddle, Rhea vs Asuka and the Main Event.
Not mentioning results as I don't want to spoil...
