Discuss whatever has been going on recently in WWE. If something just aired, please use spoiler tags, like this:
Spoiler goes here
For instance, today (July 16, 2018) is the day after Extreme Rules 2018. What did y'all think of Extreme Rules?

All I know about Extreme Rules is the reports of the crowd doing the countdown and buzzer. Pittsburgh is the closest major city to where I live. I'm so proud of them.

Most of the Extreme Rules matches ranged from bad to average, but there were some highlights. Almas/Sin Cara and New Day/SAnitY were fun pre-show matches. I thought Hardy/Nakamura & the post-match surprise were hilarious. Lashley/Reigns was surprisingly good. Enjoyed Styles/Rusev as well. Then we had Ziggler/Rollins, which I didn't enjoy nearly as much as the Raw matches they've had recently. The crowd obviously didn't help, but even if the crowd cared I wouldn't have liked it much more. Like Carmella/Asuka, the booking of Ziggler/Rollins really ruined it for me. Seth got a quick 2-0 lead, followed by the predictable McIntyre beatdown. Everything from McIntyre's ejection to the last few minutes was pretty much just there. What really annoyed me was when Dolph tried to just run away toward the end of the match. If I remember correctly, a fall by count-out would have given Seth the lead, so Seth does the logical thing and... brings Dolph back into the ring. After the classic "if only he had a few more seconds" finish, Kurt Angle announces the sudden death overtime (which should be standard anyway), and the previously ejected McIntyre distracts Rollins to help Ziggler get the quick win. I'm sure McIntyre being ejected will be the excuse to have yet another Ziggler/Rollins match.

current wwe may have the best roster they've ever had, but its been bad, like historically bad. i barely barely even watch these days. its crazy how they waste nearly every dude on the roster.

I try to watch every now and then recently mostly for two reasons:
1) I was totally impressed with Ronda Rousey's debut at mania and am curious to see how they fuck her up. 2) I'm pretty much infatuated with Ember Moon and everything she does.
For the most part the show isn't very good, despite having an impressive-as-ever roster. I blame Vince for insisting that the wrestlers use scripted promos and the writers for consistently writing bad promos for the talent to deliver.

Scripted promos is a pretty awful aspect of what's going on in WWE right now. A lot of the talent could get themselves over so much better than a writer can but I guess they have to keep to the script so as to not take chances on upsetting shareholders and sponsers.
For the last few years I've only watched WWE twice annually: Rumble and Mania.

After his surprise return at Extreme Rules, Orton showed up on Smackdown and it looks like psycho Orton is back. Fair warning: A few people said they had to look away during this segment, so maybe not for the faint of heart. It wasn't that bad though. Overall a really good episode with a great match from Styles and Almas, the Nakamura/Hardy match we should've gotten at Extreme Rules, and Becky Lynch finally inserting herself into the title picture. It's baffling how much better Smackdown is than Raw.

I just really struggle to watch wwe nowadays Which is a shame as iv grown up with it. Njpw seems to be doing a lot right in my eyes and well I guess the reason I prefer it more to wwe is because it’s not in your face every week & leaves you wanting more. I do think once hhh takes over it will be good again (just look what his done for 205live) also it’s tellig that the shows vince don’t have a big influence in are the ones that are doing well.

Both NXT and 205 Live are spectacular good at worst shows every week.
Shame about the actual main roster.
As somebody who grew up as a WWF fan, I find it somewhat depressing that my view of the company has become so shattered. I mean, I still watch but at this point it's like force of habit. My brain is so used to the idea of watching it I just do it out of muscle memory. Even then most of the time I'm merely just listening to it as I play a game or something - paying actual attention when something significant takes place like a debut, or a particularly good match.
They do happen on rare occasions but sadly, most matches seem to merely be filler with the same copy and paste storyline of "You beat me that one time, so lets wrestle like 8 times before the PPV taking turns winning and then expect people to give a damn about match 9 on PPV because this time we wear tassles"

That’s exactly how I feel it. I know it’s sad to say but the sooner vince leaves the better. Just don’t think it will be any time soon tho

I'm of two minds with that.
I think Vince is less the problem, and more that shareholders only care about the profitability of the company. Vince is allowing the booking to go to hell because they're still making money hand over fist. I mean, Roman Reigns merch sells out left and right and basically everybody you talk to that isn't a little kid wants him dead. So I suspect when HHH and Stephanie take over while there will likely be changes, I don't think it'll be as smooth a transition as 205 Live was when Hunter got the book.
On the other hand is just that - 205 Live, Hunter could start booking it and if it does well great. If it doesn't? Who cares. As far as the shareholders are concerned only RAW and SmackDown exist anyway. The rest is just fodder. NXT actually loses money IIRC, but HHH is allowed to do it, because it's something of an investment for the WWE Network and future call ups. So basically what I'm theorizing is that while 205 Live was literally night and day when Hunter took over, I think it will take years before Raw and SmackDown see as much change. Hunter is gonna be fighting shareholders left and right. Every time he'll want to put the focus on somebody like The Revival they're gonna go "But John Cena though"

I think the biggest problem with Raw right now is simply that the draft left them with a surprisingly thin roster with no easy fixes, even with better writing. The heel side in particular is in bad shape with basically Owens as the only guy near the top who can also talk. Elias is swell as an up-and-coming midcard heel act but hell, either Dolph or Corbin has to be at worst the #3 heel on the show and neither is up for it.
Given that the top faces are on the Roman/Braun/Rollins (perhaps even Lashley?) level it's just too imbalanced.
Writing could stand to be a bit better though >_>

These are the best. Hoping Becky Balboa finally gets another title reign. I'm also a big fan of Mandy Rose. The shake-up gave Smackdown Joe and Miz, two of Raw's top heels. Raw did get Owens, Zayn & Mahal, but Zayn is injured and Mahal seems to have been knocked back down to the midcard. Then you've got Brock but he may as well not even be on the roster at this point. We desperately need a Lashley heel turn. He's at his best when he works heel anyway.
