Cain Velasquez had a WWE deal? Huh. He had a match with Lesnar in Saudi. And a house show in Mexico. This was after he had two pretty good shows with AAA

Cain Velazquez the latest release. Kofi's loss to Brock just lost more meaning. Even more meaningless because they put the belt on Brock to boost Smackdown's ratings and last that I heard, it didn't really work and things have only gotten worse since (well before the pandemic; that's kind of sucking for everybody right now).

While rumors Vince believes ratings are down because Brock no longer has the belt

"A class action has commenced on behalf of certain shareholders in World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. The filed complaint alleges that defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: Defendants perpetrated a fraudulent scheme which: (i) deceived the investing public regarding WWE's business and prospects; (ii) artificially inflated the price of WWE Class A common stock; (iii) permitted certain senior executives of WWE to sell more than $282 million worth of their personally held shares at fraud inflated prices; and (iv) caused the public to purchase WWE Class A common stock at artificially inflated prices." The Levi & Korsinsky firm also filed a similar lawsuit, seen here. Their alert on the suit reads like this:
"The complaint alleges that World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. violated federal securities laws by issuing materially false and/or misleading information and/or failing to disclose material information."

Isn't this all businesses though? Like I mean take them all down but is anything actually going to come of this?

The WWE has been doing shady shit for years. It's only a matter of time before it all comes tumbling down.

So Gerry apparently dropped the hammer on what furlough means but the usual places are arguing over a Punk tweet and looking at Charlotte's pillow.

I'd rather not go full Cornette but I already mentioned on the 16th that these sites need to learn how to group lists. lo and behold one of the allegedly released employees says "lolno" and instead of "so, yeah, we were hasty" it is little more than "OMG PUNK IZ ON TWITTER TALKING TO DAVE" and "Charlotte pix fapfapfap"

Geeze, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson are out, too? Didn’t the wwe just use them in a bunch of shit including stuff with AJ? And didn’t they pay them a bunch extra to keep them around when their contracts expired? Mixed messages, but I guess they’ll be happier elsewhere anyway. Kind of an odd win for them, I guess?

If what a certain armbar specialist had to say is accurate, pretty much everybody that said they were considering leaving got their wish even if most of them are now acting surprised that HHH and/or Vince believed them.
And I quote:
Because I said a month ago, “Hey, I’m not happy. If you’re not going to do something with me, let me go. Let me figure this out somewhere else.'"

Curtis Axel was the latest to be released forgot he was even there OH NO NOT CURTIS! HE WAS THE FUTU... Oh wait I was thinking of Chris Hero. I'm sure Kurt Axl will show up on the indies soon. Oh and the WWE are notoriously petty. Exhibit A: Now they're trying to sabotage the Revival's new trademarks.

Given how booking contracts actually work that shouldn't be an issue until mid-July or so for most.
Supposedly NXT only requires 30 days, but then it should be even easier for them to get signed, if not actually debut for a while.
And until that actual last day they are apparently eligible for show money. We'll see if that comes up with Maverick.
But there's more. Because the 120th day of the year happens to be April 30, 2020 they are also entitled to royalties or other things owed from 2019.
