Just watched Usos vs The Revival. I don’t hate The Revival! The Usos were like the Briscos after a case of red bull, a little spastic and fast, but if they slowed shit down like the Revival made them, they could be a bad ass team. I’ve never seen the Revival before, but they’re a fun team to watch! I hope they’re not just job guys since they’re small for WWEff because they’re fun and could bring some interest to the tag division if the suits let them. Cool shit!

I really enjoy the Revival (old school, classic heel tag team). They had very good matches in nxt p.e. against American Alpha (Jason Jordan & Chad Gable) or DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa). Watch some of those matches to see what the Revival is capable of...

they use every dirty trick in the book of tag team wrestling, and it's pretty awesome
unfortunately, they've been stifled on the main roster due to injury and "politics" (they're small and aren't related to a former star)
they can damn sure work and can even do the requisite character work that WWE is so big on (by being "vanilla," they really stand out, in a good way)
but yeah, we've heard that song before, "Great in NXT, no chance in WWE" >_<

Thanks for the recommendations, I will definitely check those matches out! I NEVER watch WWE, it was pure chance that I even stopped long enough to see The Revival at it, and I instantly liked them. Not surprised to hear about the lack of interest on Vince’s part because they’re toddlers according to his size requirements, too bad though, it took me all of two minutes to decide I want to see more! For a guy who has made BILLIONS off of wrestling, it seems as though any time wrestling begins to take root and grow in his organization, he promptly stomps it out of existence. Odd shit.
Can’t wait to see more of these guys!

Yeah I never really watch wwe I just read about whats going and watch clips. The revival first started I saw a match and was an instant fan their tag finisher looked so good. It seemed like their main roster career was almost always losing but putting on a good match making the other team look good because they are so good themselves.

American Alpha (Jason Jordan, what a beast! Like a giant Tazz! Love the suplexes!) and DIY matches were great suggestions, thank all of you! The DIY one was a title match, not sure which one, but it was a great match. Crowd was in it 100%, the pacing was great, lots of heelish shenanigans by the Revival, and a perfectly timed leg on the rope three count save by means of ringside interference. Great stuff, the WWE is nuts to shelve these guys. Very impressed with DIY and American Alpha as well!
OT: where the hell is NXT televised? Is it subscription only, or is it tacked onto raw or smackdown?

Very impressed with DIY and American Alpha as well! It was a great mistake to split up American Alpha. That "Jason Jordan is Kurt Angles son" storyline was going nowhere! But... what does Vince know about using NXT stars in the right way... Just take a look at Tyler Breeze... going back to NXT. |
