Running late. Fact of life. Proving Ground Episode 94 Amber Wright vs. Katherine White
The Pride of Scotland (Nick/Corsaria) vs. The Tachibanas
Ziggy Rockefeller vs. Akira Ryusaki
Rin Ryusaki vs. Calista Vargas
Aria Kintelas and Christina Wagner vs. The Yoshida Twins
Rafael Gallego vs. Harley Brooks
Leona Sterling vs. Mercedes Ortega
Speed Dating vs. The Golden Ambush
George Radley (Blue Thunder Pro) vs. Sanya Markov for the Top Prospect Championship It's action from every division this week, kicking off the show with two Inspire division stars that could be on the verge of their moment. Amber Wright has been at the top before, but Katherine White is hungry for her first gold on Proving Ground... with a win here, she might just find herself in the hunt. Nick MacLeod's match with HAYATO last episode was an outright disaster. The Scots, as a result, have sworn vengeance on the Tachibanas... and so, La Corsaria will team up with Nick to take them on, looking to knock the Japanese siblings down a peg. Let's not get into the details. Ziggy's coming back, Ziggy's looking to bounce back hard. Akira Ryusaki may have something to say about that, but Ziggy might just be more motivated now than ever. Just don't ask what the deal is with what's going on in Butterfloor or anything Necrolord-related. It's... touchy. High-flying chaos is guaranteed right here. Rin Ryusaki is on her own this week, after a disastrous Winter Fresh defeat at the hands of the Golden Ambush that have taken Fresh Suzuki temporarily out of action. Calista Vargas, meanwhile, is looking to seize an opportunity and perhaps make her way towards an Inspire Championship match... A new duo is stepping into the ring this week, as Aria Kintelas finds herself a partner in Christina Wagner. Wagner's Proving Ground tenure has been... spotty, at best, but this could very well change the course of her career... and a win over the Yoshidas would do wonders for both women. Harley Brooks is still one of the Top Prospect division's best talents, despite his recent losses to Sanya Markov and Arthur Wright. But here, he looks to get back on track against Rafael Gallego, hoping to build momentum and fight his way back to the top of the division... against Rafael, that's never a guarantee. Leona Sterling kicked off last Proving Ground with a tremendous showing, putting Melody Bryant out with her trademark Guillotine. Now, potentially riding a hot streak, she'll seek to keep herself running against one of the most dangerous women on Proving Ground... Mercedes Ortega. Ortega is never far from the top of the food chain... could a match with Felice Santana be on the horizon? Speed Dating continues to impress time and time again, and the duo of Riccardo and Felice might just be hunting for a shot at the Proving Ground tag titles. Standing in their way, however, will be the women of the Golden Ambush... coming off of a brutal victory over Winter Fresh. Can the fastest team in Phoenix Rising continue to rise? This week: our guest comes to us from Blue Thunder Pro, as George Radley takes the third open challenge for Sanya's Top Prospect Championship. We've seen Radley go through some hellacious brawls in his home fed... but does he have what it takes to stop the powerhouse champion?

This was honestly a pretty wild show top to bottom. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/1433093241Youtube: youtu.be/G6tS12bcZKgQuick Results Celine Chevalier def. Angela Rothenberg The Malevolent Triad def. The Heyward Sisters Markos Andreas def. Hugo Dirksen Blake Dynamite def. Kileas Kintelas Eri Sentarl and Chichi def. The Lightning Cyclones Urani Whitemist def. Titania Firehawk Sentarl def. Telan Kintelas The Evergreen Misfits def. Pure Gold to retain the Trios Championships Kojiro Burai def. Ruthless Nicole Alger to become the NEW Pacific Northwest Champion Write-ups... possible Kojiro Burai<This is what I've been working towards from the moment I arrived here. The moment I lifted a championship high. The moment I struck the first blow and forced the world to stand up, and take notice. The biggest stage I've stood on in my career... bigger than Yokohama, bigger than any Japanese ring I've stood in, and for anyone who thought I was incapable of living up to the hype... I stand here, with the Pacific Northwest Championship around my waist.>
Kojiro let out a breath, unhooked the championship from around his waist, stared down at it for a moment... with his usual chest armor discarded nearby, he slung the belt over his shoulder, and he stared into the camera with fire in his eyes.
"I won't hear a single word about being 'the new guy' anymore. The outsider trying to make a name for himself. These past few weeks are only the beginning. A sign of things to come. People win this championship and drop it the first time they're asked to put it on the line... to the point where people call it 'cursed', saying that nobody can hold onto it for more than a couple of matches. That changes now.
I know who they have lined up to challenge for this title next. Dangerous names, people that I'm sure you think are more than capable of taking this accomplishment away from me before I've gotten a chance to enjoy it. Kaelara Sentarl will be the first one to challenge me, and she doesn't have what it takes. None of you do.
This is a new era. For Showdown. For the Pacific Northwest Championship. For Pure Gold."

Small update: no Proving Ground tomorrow night. I'll get an Evergreen card up tomorrow, however, because that's still running on schedule.
I just need a week's break from the main grind. I'll be back at it next week.
Evergreen's easier to run hence that going uninterrupted.
As for April 1, it being a Friday and Fridays being already a two-show night, I dunno if we're doing anything this year. We'll see.

With a card like this? It's time to quit being lazy. Let's take a full deep dive into tomorrow night's Showdown. Showdown Episode 95 Angela Rothenberg vs. Kyle Anderson
Blake Dynamite vs. Listalva Anne Heyward
Hugo Dirksen vs. Revon Beauregard The Kintelas Brothers vs. Firehawk Sentarl and Rilantha De Nav
Titania vs. Anari Lynn Heyward Angel Leblanc vs. Celine Chevalier
Sophia Moretti vs. Selisha
Eri Sentarl and Chichi vs. The Malevolent Triad Kaelara Sentarl vs. Kojiro Burai for the Pacific Northwest Championship
The night starts hot with a pair of powerhouses squaring off, as the German-born Angela Rothenberg steps into the ring against Pure Gold's Five-Star Machine, Kyle Anderson. The Baltimore Savage has been looking to get back to his winning ways... but Rothenberg is making an impact thus far on Showdown, and won't make this an easy fight. The always-electric Blake Dynamite might just be on the hunt for a shot at the World Championship, after a victory over Kileas Kintelas last episode. And while the Heywards reel from a rough stretch, they'll look to right themselves in singles action, first with Queen Anne taking on Blake, perhaps having eyes for that World Championship herself... A battle of pure technique: Revon's elegant-yet-brutal style against Hugo's ferocious suplexes... not to mention the vicious Cattle Mutilation that's become his hallmark. As Les Beautes Blondes perhaps begin to fray around the edges, can Revon give the group some form of hope for the future? Telan Kintelas has been left seething for two weeks after a dominant showing by Firehawk Sentarl, wiping out the wild powerhouse in short order. We'll see the brothers reuniting as a team for the first time in quite a long while, as they aim to take down perhaps one of the single most dominant duos ever to set foot in Phoenix Rising. Titania's continuing mission: to challenge the biggest, the strongest, the most dangerous. That led her to the Titan last episode, and Urani Whitemist... to be blunt, overwhelmed the young rising star. Titania's sights will be a little lower this week... but not by much, as she takes on the Premiere Powerhouse, Anari Lynn Heyward, one of the most decorated singles stars in all of Phoenix Rising. Angel Leblanc is furious. A disastrous last-second defeat at the hands of the House of Nakajima has left Angel on the warpath, and unfortunately, Celine Chevalier has become the scapegoat for their troubles. Are Les Beautes Blondes on the verge of losing a member? Will Celine tolerate this sort of disrespect? What will happen to the woman who pledged her service as Angel's personal knight? Fans of submissions and technical prowess are already salivating at the prospect of this match. Sophia Moretti, the Italian Monster, has had a checkered run through Phoenix Rising's history, but make no mistake: She's still one of the deadliest specialists around. However, Selisha is on one hell of a hot streak lately, and could prove to be too much to stop for the somewhat-inconsistent Sophia... One had to know that this was inevitable... it's just that perhaps we all thought it'd take more time before Fenix Oscuro reared her head and looked to knock the Little Phoenix off her perch. Following a wildly successful debut match, Eri and Chichi now find themselves locked in a fight with Eri's biggest rival... but has the Little Phoenix truly surpassed Oscuro and the Triad once and for all? Kojiro Burai is not sitting idle. Just two days ago in Lightning Pro, the reigning Pacific Northwest Champion went to war with ALEXANDER, delivering a highlight reel of a match, far and away the best of his career, and came away with an absolutely tremendous victory. Now, three days removed from a violent fight with one of L-Pro's top talents, Kojiro returns home to defend his title... and while Kaelara Sentarl may not be seen as quite the indomitable wall that ALEXANDER is, expect this match to be a fight to the finish regardless, as Kojiro fights to keep what he's fought so hard to earn. Can Kojiro finally be the man to dispel the so-called "curse" on the Pacific Northwest Championship? Angel Leblanc"I give you one chance... just one. A chance to avoid my throwing you aside like the utter trash that you've become. After all of this, you have done nothing to prove to me that you deserve to call yourself my knight... failure, after failure... loss after loss, there is only one way to redeem yourself in the eyes of Les Beautes Blondes, of me.
Throw yourself on the mercy of your leader. Beg for my forgiveness. Kneel at my feet, and I may give you one final chance to stand with us, Celine. You will do this in the ring, in front of the world, for all to witness. Fail to do so... and I will put you out of your misery, and end this farce once and for all. Show your obedience to me, or see your precious little career come to a premature ending.
The choice is yours, Celine Chevalier. Make the correct one."

Laura Tate vs. Lance Marshall
Johnny Rocket vs. Nathan Haines
Hikari Ueno vs. Carmen Latour vs. Dominic Stanton, #1 contender's match for the Spirit of Texas Championship Spirit of Texas and AFW Tag Team Champion Ryan Donovan has a rare night off, as AFW sets out to determine challengers for both titles he currently holds... and clearly, the intention is for him to defend them both on the same night on the May episode. Mason Hayes remains the one and only man to hold a singles victory over Ryan... can that translate into success both against the ever-dangerous Rising Storm and the reigning champion? And three fierce competitors have their eye on the Spirit of Texas... but only one will get the right to challenge the Carolina Reaper one-on-one. Hikari Ueno has impressed beyond measure in her short time in AFW, but faced with the Cajun Spitfire, Carmen Latour, and the surging Dominic Stanton... can the relative rookie push herself even higher?
